Can I give a zero star review? Absolutely the most inept office I've experienced in many years. I asked to be seen by a dr at the sunmerlin practice, saw the one star review but needed to be seen asap. Never was told I would see a PA, which she was decent, but obviously not a Dr... waited 3 weeks for someone to call me for referrals. I have all receipts, and left 3 different messages. (What dr office goes to vm?) The MOST unprofessional in the business and I've never met the Dr but changed PCP fast. I'd recommend doing the same unless you want same experience. Ugh. This doctor almost killed my friend. He precribed medicine she didn't need. Then said he did not precribe it. His office called it in to the pharmacy. She is never going back there. I have been struggling with if I should write this review or not only because I really like my doctor. Coming into the office recently I noticed a whole new staff, and “office manager “ who were condescending and rude! It was clear that they could care less about keeping Dr. Nickname’s long term patients. I took off work to NOT be seen due to their billing error. I was told many different things, however after placing a call learned the billing department didn’t bill to the appropriate insurance company. Nonetheless, this was my last day with this doctor and doctor’s office. I wouldn’t recommend going there with the new staff and disregard that is now in place. Staff is very nice and helpful, professionals! And Dr.Nicknam makes sure to overlook my diagnosis or personal questions every other chance he gets. Big shout out to him on my radio shows forsure.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Nicknam after my PCP retired. I was amazed at the friendliness of the staff, the short wait time (10 min) and the ease of paperwork. Dr. Nicknam was great. He was able to make some great recommendations about prescription changes and present them as Options instead of Requirements. He set up a referral to a specialist and refilled my prescriptions. This practice is up and coming and I won't be surprised if they fill up their patient spots quickly. Highly Recommend!

Very unprofessional. I went in with swollen eyes and anxiety. I was there for 3 hours just for him to order blood work and gave me no medicine for my eyes which he didn’t even exam. When i asked him about my eyes he said he doesn’t know what it is. So the next day i had to go to urgent quick care and they told me i have stye eye and they gave me eye ointment. Dr Nicknam was a waste of time and didn’t attend to my needs what so ever. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone. Did not take me seriously even though my eyes were swollen didn’t even care to look at them all. Do not go to this Dr.

Dr. Nicknam is a phenomenal Physician without a doubt. (I have been seeing him for several years). The short comings come with the Staff. The referrals and re-filling of prescriptions are always forgotten (Or they blame the referring doctor's office). Otherwise they are awesome!

This clinic is simply just horrible with their service. Please avoid going there.

I have been disappointed in the service I have received here. I made an appt and still waited 40 minutes once I was put in an exam room. The exam was cursory at best. I asked the doctor to order Cologuard for me.They asked me to come in 2 weeks later for a "follow up". Waited another 45 minutes after my scheduled appt time. I repeated that I needed them to order Cologuard. After 6 more weeks, it still had not been ordered, so I went on line and did it myself. I called again last week to get a referral, and was given a next day phone appt. 20 minutes passed after the scheduled time and no call. I called them and they told me I would be called when they came back from lunch. The rest of the day went by, no call. I will be finding a new PCP. Dr. Amir Nicknam is a Horrible, uneducated, doctor with Apathy for his patients. All he does is try to drain Medicare and Nevada Medicaid with needless visits. He lost over 3 Lab Results from Quest Diaganostics! I have Epilepsy, and still 1 year later; I stiill do not have my Blood Type or other results!!!! Professional and concerned. UPDATE: we switched providers because we had trouble with front office/desk and the WAIT to see the doctor was REPEATEDLY long, long, long (hours)!!! Once I scheduled to see the doctor but the PA came into see us. I mentioned that I scheduled with the doctor so the PA got huffy, stood up to leave (with an attitude) and then I realized that I'd probably have to wait a couple MORE hours to see the actual doctor so we were screwed. When I have encountered Dr. Nicknam he seemed very caring about my severe handicapped daughter. His staff was supportive in so many needs she required, paperwork and referrals. In hindsight, my daughter was declining and my emotional state was rising without me knowing she was going to die, Dr. Nicknam passed me and my beautiful daughter off to one of his staff members who ended up uneducated and uncaring to deal with our needs. I pleaded to the new young Dr for serious attention to my daughter, he literally passed me off to a lawyer and an organization that has nothing to do with the specific needs of my handicap. So, within a week my daughter was dead. He bothered to call after I informed their staff of her death. He, the young n uneducated Dr, mentioned an "I'm sorry" but I didn't feel any heart from it. I never got a call from Dr. Nicknam, our official appointed Dr. I decided to write this today because I recieved a beautiful Sympathy card today from every person me and my daughter met at the Utah's University Hospital. I highly recommend Dr. Amir NickNam and have been very pleased with the services received.

Except that seeing "health care" people falling for the mask bs, Dr. Nicknam is very good.

Dr. Nicknam’s Clinic is undoubtedly one of the best equipped occupational health clinics in Las Vegas.

He explains the issue as well as listens patiently to you! He took wonderful care of myself!! I highly recommend Dr.Nicknam.

Dr. Niknam is the best. Although he should take care of multiple patients simultaneously, he tries to respond to everyone with patience. Bottoms up to Dr. Niknam and his compassionate team.

Dr. Nicknam explained everything (x-ray, etc.) to me so that I understood what his next step would be!!

I complained to this Dr. because he send me for an MRI of my brain but never looked at it for 3 months. I had to hear from my othalmologist that I had 2 brain tumors based on the same MRI which he obtained. This doctor claims he told me. How can I forget a medical condition as BIG as 2 brain tumors? Very unorganized office. Rude stagg and office manager. He is only looking for industrial related cases where he can bill for attorneys. Not a family doctor. This is coming from an Iranian patient.

This place is a damn mess. The Dr. Is decent enough however he doesn't follow through on what he says. The office staff are rude beyond belief. I had to wait over 2hrs for my first telemedicine appointment & then they try to blame me for it when in fact they were contacting the wrong person.. I was promised referrals after some concerning test results and I have yet to get them. I called today to ask about it and Robert hangs up on me.. Rita in HR says they are short staffed after she told me over 2 weeks ago they were back to a full staff. They are all very rude and inconsiderate people.. I would absolutely NOT reccomend this facility. They don't care about their patients one bit.

He was my mother's primary physician. She always had problems being seen by Dr Nicknam. On several occasions, we scheduled and appointment and arrived on time. Have been a patient for 2 years now I have found the staff friendly, and helpful

It's been a couple years since I've been to this clinic but I don't understand the bad reviews. Dr. Nicknam and his staff were always kind to me. I have no complaints of this office. I figured I'd put that out there.

Great customer service and fast service.

I was here for a total of 1 hour and my appt was comforting and quick. The staff was very helpful and nice. I would recommended my family and friends to SNOHC.

Very clean office, staff is very friendly. I had an appointment scheduled but double booked so they offered me another suitable time slot for the evening. DR. Nicknam listened to my issues and had them taken care of with out hesitation. I recommend this office to all future patients. They can handle common colds to work related injuries.

Paid a $30 co-pay so I can watch my loved one sit here and wait over and hour and a half tired and in pain so he can be told that the actual doctor is out of town and we have to be seen be the PA....dont waist your money or your TIME here waiting forever to be seen. Find a better provider.

Today was the third time that Dr Nicknam did not turn up at the clinic although for all three times I had a valid appointment. The clinic's staff are also not competent in customer service.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! This is the second time going here, thought we'd try again (maybe he was having a bad day?) Went almost a year dealing with a kidney stone. It was never discovered after numerous images/scans were taken. It took going to the ER twice in order to figure out what the hell was going on with me. When I went back to him, the news, "hey, this entire time that I've been in pain is actually caused by a kidney stone," didn't phase him. In fact, the scans at the hospital were more informative than anything he ordered. My results also showed signs of Sacroiliitis, to which Amir laughed and told me that I don't have, even though the images from ER state otherwise. They also don't listen to their answering machine. If I would give them a zero I would . I got there 10 mi. Before my appointment time and they didn’t call Me until 45 minutes after to go in and I told them I have to go back to work. Restroom had no paper towels and no toilet paper . People who work there are very rude and have no idea what is going on specially the receptionist. This may be a great Doctor. I will never know. The staff showed me today how poorly their customer service is. I go in with an follow up appointment and was was charged more than my deductible. No one was able to give me the clarification I needed. OK. I was given a disconnected number to billing. Now I’m really upset ????. I proceeded to the back and the MA asked why I was there. WHAT. It feels good to be able to be seen by a Dr. that I can trust and be very open and honest with. The location is clean and very easy to get to, and unlike most, I like when I call and they have a answering message. That allows them to look me up and call me back so that they have all my information handy and in front of them.

After my first appointment with Dr. Nicknam , I had my second one in southern Nevada family medicine. They refused to see me despite my none emergency medical need and medication refill. Base on not be able to pay rest of yearly $180 deduction. Already paid $60 on my first visit. Simply I didn't have my cards and only had $30 cash. I asked if I can pay that $30 or they can send the bill. They choose to cancele my appointment and not be seen by PA .

Beware of this doctor if you are a cash patient! My husband went to this doctor and no one including the doctor explained that he requires all cash patients to be seen every three months at a charge of $60 to $80 for each visit regardless if you want to be seen or not. If you need medication refills you have no choice but to see him because he'll only give you a three month supply of prescriptions. BEWARE of doctors like this trying to take advantage of people who cannot report them to an insurance company. There is the Better Business Bureau that still listens.
