Dr. Amy Diane Kuhmichel

I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr Kuhmichel and her team. I am not an easy patient to treat because I have so many underlying health conditions, but she took the time to understand me and my limitations, so that she could formulate the best plan regarding my safety and comfort. I was terrified I would be in a lot of pain and that conscious sedation would not be a good fit for me, but she made sure I was extremely comfortable throughout and not aware of anything going on around me. I knew nothing about it until it was all done, and what I thought would be a difficult healing process was plain sailing without any issues. Her experience is absolutely remarkable! You can’t help but be impressed by her achievements because the walls in all the exam rooms are decorated with certificates of all the areas she excels in, and there’s a lot. Yet she’s so humble given these achievements, and has an absolutely lovely bedside manner. I could not recommend this remarkable surgeon any higher, she is absolutely amazing! So if you have any health issues, or you are scared of the dentist, or are worried you’ll be in pain, you could not be in any better hands. And her team are just wonderful, from the front desk to the operating room, they work tirelessly to make you feel as comfortable as possible. I have always felt uncomfortable going to the dentist, but with Dr Kuhmichel and her team I look forward to seeing them, they are all so warm and friendly. You couldn’t possibly have a better experience than with Dr Kuhmichel and her team. She is easily the top oral surgeon in Atlanta, and I won’t go anywhere else.

I was a longtime patient of Dr. Kuhmichel's and underwent multiple surgeries and procedures as part of my course of treatment for a very large OKC (odontogenic keratocyst) cyst in my jaw. Dr. Kuhmichel is by far one of the best doctors I've ever interacted with. She has a caring, genuine, personable bedside manner and takes time to address questions or concerns no matter how incremental the step may be. She took me on after my initial treatment had begun under a different oral surgeon, and the difference in office dynamics and doctor and support staff care was night and day. I am so thankful for Dr. Kuhmichel and her team for their thorough, patient work. I never felt rushed or like I was making an uninformed or unnecessary decision during treatment. And, through the end, she did outstanding placement of my molar implants, and I feel that my bite has been restored to completely natural feeling. Cannot recommend Dr. Amy Kuhmichel and her team enough!

Excellent with kids! Took my 5yo to get a extra tooth removed and everything went very well. I didn't want my child being traumatized so opted for IV sedation for the removal. Glad I did because the tooth had a very long root. I would highly recommend Dr Kuhmichel and her staff and will be returning.

Excellent service! My daughter got her wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Kuhmichel and the entire process was very smooth. The surgery took about an hour, and the recovery was fast and overall everything went really well. I recommend Dr. Kuhmichel 100%.

I had wisdom teeth removed one of which was impacted. Dr Kuhmichel and her staff were great, explained everything about the procedure and what to expect post-surgery. Very friendly and comforting and answered all my questions. All their instructions and explanations on what to expect were spot on. I was also provided with direct contact information should I experience any issues or had urgent questions, which fortunately I did not need. Thankfully, I had no issues whatsoever after almost 2 years now. On the first couple of days following surgery ice packs and Advil were good enough to manage the discomfort and didn't need them anymore after day 2 or 3.

We had a consult for a minor with Amy and I thought Dr Kuhmichel was exceptional. She has a wonderful, compassionate, thoughtful disposition. She spoke to both child and parent with clear meaning and never rushed the conversation. We appreciated our time with Dr. Kuhmichel. Thank you.

I just got my wisdom teeth extracted at Dr Kumichel’s office yesterday . Everything went very well! I was so nervous and the staff were so attentive, eased my worries and were extremely accommodating. The surgery itself went as well as it could’ve gone for getting teeth cut out of your mouth! After watching the videos of myself SINGING in post surgery I’m sure I was a comical but annoying patient and they were so kind anyway LOL. Dr Kuhmichel came by recommendation and I couldn’t happier. I’d certainly recommend her and this practice to anyone. The ONLY negative is the wait times are long. 45-60 minutes. But I am willing to wait for quality. I highly recommend Dr. Kuhmichel. Our 18 month old was tongue-tied and needed a corrective procedure. Dr. Kuhmichel patiently examined my squirmy child and thoroughly explained our options. We decided to proceed without general anesthesia given his young age. Dr. Kuhmichel and her staff were warm and caring, which definitely contributed to putting both my and my kiddo’s nerves at ease. I just had one very large molar removed this morning, not a pleasant experience, to be sure. But I was in good hands. My father was a dentist, and I know a good one when I see one. So you can believe me when I say that Dr. Kuhmichel was superb. There are always two aspects to any doctor, first their "bedside manner" (the ability to calm their patient's frayed nerves), and their technique (their ability to physically get the job done). Dr. K. has both in abundance. My entire procedure was so utterly painless and quick, that I can hardly believe it. I can't recommend both her, and her friendly staff enough. That said, Dr. Kuhmichel is incredibly EXPENSIVE. As much as I would have liked to return for my dental implant, alas, I was forced to find another dentist to complete the procedure, and managed to find an excellent one for HALF the price. Although I won't take off any stars for the rates she charges, to be entirely honest, saving myself three thousand dollars for the identical dental procedure is something that I should mention here. Dr. Kuhmichel was amazing with our 2 year old. The little guy needed a minor procedure with his tongue and we couldn’t have asked for a more patient and courteous physician. We highly recommend Dr. Kuhmichel and her staff. When the time comes for wisdom teeth removal, we’ll be back!

Just got a wisdom tooth removed. Dr. Kuhmichel did a fantastic job. Office staff is really friendly and professional as well. As good of an experience as you could have for wisdom teeth removal.

The best and biggest hearted dr I've ever met. Came in after hours to treat dry socket for wisdom tooth taken out of town with different dr!!!!! Dont hesitate in seeing dr kuhmichel
