No waiting. PA Michael McMahon was very caring. He answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable.

D Ghanous is the perfect doctor. He is so knowledgeable about my heart issues and he is so personable. I love having an appointment with him because it is always pleasurable.

My appointment was with Dr. Ghantous.I was seen by Dr. McMahon.I love my doctor and when I go to him I want to see him not his associate.even though, he was nice.please

Dr. Ghantous and his staff are top notch experienced, highly skilled and compassionate to their cardiac patients. They use all the latest data gathering tools plus listen to the patients observations before making a diagnosis and recovery plan. Even during the dark days of COVID quarantine they kept a steady office pace showing leadership and resilience. When my husband had a heart attack, a friend in the medical field said Dr. Ghantous is the best. And he is. He treated my husband with respect, compassion and his professionalism is second to none. He is patient and explains the medical issue completely. Recently I had issues of my own. He was so very thorough and treated me with the same principles as my husband. I have confidence, trust and respect for Dr. Ghantous and highly recommend him.

I had a cardiac catherization performed by Andre Ghantous, MD, at Hartford Hospital on September 16, 2021. From start to finish, my experience was excellent. I kept thinking "well-oiled machine" because everything went smoothly and without incident. But it was so much more than that. The Cath team treated me with high level competence and compassion. Clearly they were following the lead of Dr. Ghantous whom they respected for his surgical expertise and empathic interaction with the patient & family. Despite COVID restrictions, there was good communication with my concerned family member which helped relieve anxiety on both of us. Dr. Ghantous gets 5 stars and more! I was not expecting to hear questionable news at my routine follow up with Dr. Ghantous. He explained the need for a procedure calmly and clearly and told me why it would be unwise to postpone it. He immediately phoned my daughter to inform her of this, and he treated both of us with competent compassion. I trusted his judgment and was pleased with the staff at the Wallingford office and later at Hartford Hospital. He is clearly respected by those on his team and this translates to a positive patient experience. Coincidentally, a good friend who had serious cardiac issues is now seeing Dr. Ghantous in part because I have told her of my positive interactions & trust in Dr. Ghantous's ability and demeanor.

Dr. Ghantous is kind compassionate and explains things so you understand. The office staff is efficient and courteous!

Dr. Ghantos placed 3 stents in my right coronary artery which was completely blocked. I'm so thankful for his expertise.

After 4 stents my wife and I were looking for someone who, In My wife's words was warm and fuzzy and took the time to explain things. DR. Ghantous was recommended to us by patients and people in the medical field .My wife's niece is a PA in cardiology and had nothing but good things to say about him. Our Niece and Dr. Ghantous met us in the ER and when my wife saw them she burst in to tears of relief and was given a group hug by our niece and the Dr.. We had found who we were looking for!!!

He was fine at office visits a bit hard to understand but when I was rushed to the hospital for a heart attack and had to have stents placed he put them in. Upon arrival to my room in ICU I began to have chest pain I kept telling him something was wrong he finally brought me back to cardiac cath lab bought me back to icu where he told me the stent collapsed upon reading report the stent did not collapse but broke into two pieces because of all this I now have femoral neuropathy in left leg.
