He was very loud and not very compassionate. He belittled my pain and said it was sleep deprivation not pain. I am an APN and I have definite pain. The EMG was extremely painful and he wanted me to curse during it, I spent half the test crying.. He told me "people like you come in here all the time thinking they have a high pain tolerance and they don't" this was after explaining I had natural childbirth twice without epidural. He also continued to brag about himself. He told me I'm probably up at night because of my husband - I was too busy crying to even explain I'm married to a woman which he would have known had he read my paperwork. I would never refer any of my patients to him.

Makes me at ease by explaining and talking to me the whole time he was doing the procedure , nice receptionist I think she is her mother, very patient on the phone while makin appointment

Super fast appointment and Dr. Hu was very professional and personable. I cant think of anything bad to say.

Dr. Hu actually cares about his Patients! I’ve been his Patient for many years. I can always count on him and know that he’s there for me when I’m having a problem. Dr. Hu is a Physical Medicine & Rehab Doctor, as well as a specialist in Pain Management, he looks at my body as a whole system that works together, he doesn’t just focus on the “Pain”. Dr. Hu is brilliant, empathetic, kind, and loves to use humor to make his Patients laugh & relax. He truly is one of the most caring Doctors that I’ve ever known! Easy to schedule appointments. Very polite, proficient receptionist. Clean office (Coronavirus prevention measures taken) Caring, knowledgeable Doctor. Emergency appointments available.

Dr Hu was very jovial and friendly. But, while he was doing the EMG on my leg and lower back, he told me to curse if it hurts. He said it's medically proven that if you curse it makes you feel better. I told him I don't curse. He said come on and yelled really loudly a curse word. I told him again I don't curse. It didn't matter to him, he was very disrespectful to me and cursed 3 more times. He did not walk me thru the procedure at all. When he was done, he said bye, and left the room while I was still facing the wall. He was the most unprofessional physician I had ever encountered and I would never recommend him. It was an awful experience

Dr. Hu performed an EMG on my hands and elbows and he was very professional and made me feel at ease. He has a good sense of humor and talks to you throughout the procedure which keeps your mind off of what he is doing. I would recommend him highly to any one who needs to get an EMG. I have had 3 EMG's done and he was by far the best.

He dismissed any information I had from a medical site on the internet, (I work in health care) told my husband to buy a wheelchair due to his pain (he could walk well at that time), pain management does not help, and was completely wrong with his diagnosis. Luckily I ignored his prognosis and my husband has been pain free for over 2 months due to a wonderful surgeon at Pennsylvania Hospital. Poor bedside manner. Get a second opinion if he gives you a poor prognosis.

I have seen many Doctors due to my chronic health problems and Dr. Hu is a rare find. He’s a combination of a brilliant mind and compassionate person. He truly cares about his Patients.

Dr. Hu always listens to me as a Patient and cares for me as a Person. He has a great sense of humor, which is a plus for me in a Doctor. Wait times in the waiting room are normal and he gives you as much time as you need during your appointment. Never have I felt rushed during my appointments. I have heard and seen Dr. Hu treat all his Patients with kindness, compassion, & empathy. I truly am blessed and grateful Dr. Hu is my Doctor.

Dr. Hu performed an EMG/NCV test on me due to foot pain not relieved after three injections from my podiatrist. First, I was extremely nervous about this procedure because what I read on-line (should never do), this procedure did not seem like it was going to be pleasant at all. Dr. Hu talked to me through out the procedure and even better, had me talking during it which helped take my mind off of what he was doing.
