Dr. Andrew W Messenger

After I suffered for years with a rare and painful disease, Dr. Messenger is the first doctor who truly worked with me on thoroughly understanding my condition and controlling the symptoms. He can seem brusque because he is very honest, but he is always kind, has time to listen, and treats me and my family members with respect. Since he has become our doctor, our level of health care has improved dramatically. This is not to say that our previous doctors weren't competent, only that Dr. Messenger is exceptional. Consider seeing him if you want to enter into a full partnership with your physician to improve your health.

I have never been a patient of Dr. Messenger... however he bought the clinic where I have gone for years. Because of his mandate of face masks in which I cannot wear one, he sent me a rude letter terminating me as a patient. In my 63 years on this earth have never experienced such a rude interaction. I always believed doctors had your health interest at hand. His letter was rude, arrogant, and he does not care about people's health.

Went to him for thyroid issues and was basically told it was all in my head and didn’t do any tests. Went to get a second opinion and it turns out I have hashimotos. I don’t recommend him

Been going to Dr. Messenger for over a decade. Wouldn't go to anyone else. Great doctor he wont prescribe meds that are not 110% necessary.

Dr. Messenger use to be an amazing physician when he was in the old building. Ever since he moved into his new building all he cares about is making money to pay for his fancy new building. He seems to be losing it mentally as well. I feel like he has beginning stages of Alzheimer's. I'm actually very worried about him. Or maybe it's just the stress of paying for his fancy building? He just isn't as good of a physician as he use to be. It's sad. I feel like hes just all about making money.

Dr. Messenger mistreated my uncle's illness for years. This made his illness progress rapidly causing him to suffer and die.

messenger is very old fashion it is like he is stuck in the 1960s. he needs to come into the new age of medicine.

Dr. Messenger is a fantastic physician, and always puts the patients wellbeing ahead of himself. Some of his former Suboxone patients can be very harsh about how they speak about him, but this is the case with every physician out there who runs a program for treating substance abuse. Addiction is a horrible disease, and Dr. Messenger's reluctance to prescribe narcotics to those who should't have them have left some with an extremely negative view of him. He's awesome!

Dr. Messenger has been our family doctor for 32 years. He has exceeded our expectations as a family doctor. We are very pleased with the care we get. He is very personable, caring and well informed.

Determined to take you off any meds you are on. I have severe arthritis problems and pain from a car accident years ago. 5 years ago a muscle relaxer I was put on helped about 75% with the pain. I was thrilled, but this doctor would not prescribe it. He also took me off my antidepressant. Tried to take me off my Gerd meds as well. Several of the staff as well as Dr. Messenger were quite rude as well. I prefer to go to a doctor with a good bed side manner. I also prefer to be able to use a medication if I truly have a need for it. Especially one that is non addicting. This place wanted me to see their diet staff as well as their counselor. I am 52 years old, I have seen all the counselors I need in my life. I do not appreciate being pushed into supporting their extra services. Trying Sparrow Associates next month, I hear that they are much friendlier. Dr. Messenger spoke rude to me every time I saw him and once in front of my 16 y/o son. Enough. My experience with Brad Messenger is relaxing. Mr. Messenger is very kind and soft spoken. He is easy to understand and is always listening. He gives me hope, support, and the confidence I need to take me to the next step in my struggles. My son also sees Mr. Messenger. He looks forward to his visits and likes having someone he can talk to other then family. I love that you can make appointments on-line and he has evening hours. I love his office staff they are very pleasant and caring. His office is neat and clean with very comfortable seating in both his office and lobby. Having back pain it is very nice being comfortable while waiting. I have never waited more then 10 minutes and that is because I am 10 minutes early. He always has the tv on in the lobby with a family movie in so the children have something to do while waiting to be seen or patiently waiting for someone who is in an appointment. Also in the lobby they have a huge glass bird cage with beautiful birds to listen to and look at. Both children and adults love this. I know because I see the expression on their faces brighten up.
