I had seen two other orthopedic doctors prior to scheduling my hip replacement with Dr. Palmisano. I appreciated how I was treated with respect, was given all the information I needed, questions were answered and when I was with the Dr. his PA or other staff I felt like I had their full attention

Worst experience!! I have never felt so disregarded and brushed off. Dr. Palmisano never even came in the room to see me.. I have a fractured femur and MRI results sent to his office.. I didn’t see my images and was told to do be on crutches for 6 weeks.. the lady instructing me on how to use the crutches was not helpful and I still don’t feel like I can use them.. I’m very disappointed with whole experience and I would and will tell anyone ... do not go there !!!!

He is very horrible. He accused me of trying to solicit him for narcotic drugs when I was simply asking for alternative meds instead of injections. He did not look at my medical file and did not want to explain MRI details. He was not through at all. He is prejudice in my book- ALL BLACK PEOPLE DO NOT ABUSE DRUGS!!

Dr. Palmisano is an excellent, caring, and knowledgable surgeon. In July of 2017, I fell and among other injuries, broke the head off my femur which resulted in a partial hip replacement performed by a different surgeon, Less than a year later, that replacement failed. Happily, I was referred to Dr. Palmisano who did a total hip revision with tremendous success. My recovery and rehab went great. Today, I had my one-year follow-up visit. The new hip has healed beautifully, and I highly recommend Dr. Palmisano. He is top-notch.

I went to Dr. Palmisano in January of 2018 for left knee replacement due to severe arthritis and damage. Surgery went well and rehab was good also ( Summit Rehab). I went back to him in April of 2018 for right knee replacement, June of 2018 for right hip replacement, and October 2018 for left hip replacement. All surgeries went great and rehab was awesome. Dr. Palmisano was very friendly, knowledgeable and reassuring. There is no one I would rather have gone to for these surgeries.

Dr. Palmisano performed a total hip replacement on me. I feel like I have been given my life back and rehabbed quickly. He is an excellent surgeon. He took all the time with me that I needed, and explained everything well. He is a very good listener, and is kind and patient.

Dr. Palmisano performed my left knee surgery in 2017 and will operate on my right knee in September. I have not had such mobility since before I was in the Navy. Dr. Palmisano is professional and takes his time listening to patients. I would not trust anyone else with my knees.

I was very nervous meeting a surgeon but Dr. Palmisano relieved my nerves and helped me understand the procedure he was going to perform.

Dr. Palmisano was very thorough in explaining my options, potential outcomes and rehabilitation timeframes. Dr. Palmisano took the time to answer my questions and ensured that I understood the procedure. I’ve had excellent results after the procedure and could not be more pleased with the outcome and follow up care.

I would highly recommend Dr. Palmisano. He genuinely cares for his patients. I went to see Dr. Palmisano to consider a knee replacement. He explained my X-rays with me and discussed my options. I opted to go with Dr. Palmisano’s recommendation which was more conservative than another surgeon I spoke with. Months later, I am doing much butter and have better range of motion and still have my knee and did not have to get a replacement. Great doctor! Made a real difference.

After a misdiagnoses from a local hospital of having "tendon" issues in my tubula, Dr Palmisano' assessment was quite different. It turned out I had 4 breaks in my tubula & my knee was in desperate need of a replacement. He assured me with his instructions of keeping off my leg 100% that I wouldn't need to have a rod inserted. following his care instructions to a 'T', my 4 breaks healed with no complications. I am now 12 weeks post knee replacement , and couldn't ask for a better surgeon.

Terrible bed side manner and offered nothing to try and figure out why my knee was so swollen and painful after a total knee replacement 7 months ago. Such a dissapointment and waste of my time

Dr. Palmisano is an excellent surgeon! He did an awesome job of relieving me of continuous knee pain that I’ve been experiencing for several months....I’m happy to say that I am “walking in sunshine” again with no pain, because of Dr. Palmisano’s expertise in orthopedic surgery. Thank you, Dr. Palmisano!

Very easy Dr to talk too ,knowlegable caring. Listens to your concerns

Dr Palmisano took the time to listen to the issues I was having and recognized that we needed to move directly to an MRI to determine the extent of the injury. Surgery was scheduled quickly and postoperative recovery was much faster than everyone I talked to who had similar surgery. During the post-op visit he took the time to explain what he had to do, explained the photos taken, and gave options on the way ahead. Very pleasant and professional.

Dr palmisano was very rude and did not try to help me

Dr. Palmisano truly cares about his patients. He explained everything in a way so that somebody with no medical knowledge can understand. He offered conservative treatments including an injection for me before pushing a surgery! Great doctor, highly recommend!

Dr. Palmisano was a pleasure to work with. His care was excellent. His response to our questions about the total knee replacement were answered realistically and with accuracy. Going into an unknown situation, we did not know what to expect, but now that we are 2 weeks post OP, we are happy with the support received and the continuing care and information he has offered.

Dr. Palmisano explained the total knee replacement procedure to me in good laymen terms so I understood exactly what was to happen. He answered all my questions professionally and gave me more information on my concerns. The day of surgery he came in with a great attitude and very encouraging bedside talk. He visited after surgery and again next morning to make sure I was doing well. Follow up visits are both instructional and positive reinforcement. I wholeheartedly recommend him & his staff

Not a good bed side manner at all. Very rude in fact. I would not recommend at all.. Did not explain anything in a good manner nor give options to treatment.
