Dr. Andrew P. Steinmark

Wow. These negative reviews mirror my experience! I felt that I was the problem. Now I understand that it is him. I hope he reads these comments and reforms. Otherwise, I fear for his livelihood.

I found him to be arrogant and condescending. Seemed like he was more into the sleep component of my anxiety - very disproportionate to other aspects. Every week, my "score" on his surveys didn't improve. It seems that he took that personally, although it was just my honest assessment. Seems like he is in the wrong business. He has a very high opinion of himself, though my experience showed nothing to support his inflated ego.

He is one of those psychiatrists or psychologists that think they know everything and they're patients inputs have no value to them. I also wouldn't have much faith in a psychologist "Andrew Steinmark" who's 15 years of medical practice was a repository therapist which has nothing to do with psychology.

I agree with the previous review. Andrew will act like he is trying to help you but then become very critical. During a session, he actually said he 'kicks a** at therapy'.

Dr Steinmark is very rigid in his practice. He is not compassionate, and can be downright condescending. I once forgot a survey to bring back and was berated for it.
