I took my daughter for a neurodevelopment evaluation. She was very quick to come to a diagnoses. Did not provide more information on alternative treatments. I was able to find out other options when I came home and read online. She hardly had any empathy. She was very distant with my daughter and felt very harsh in her whole diagnosis and way to treat or help my daughter.She needed to realize that this is the first time this parent will hear about autism in her child and she needed to be easygoing. I had to ask her multiple time about my daughter’s strengths and she kept deviating from the question and kept going to the symptoms she sees. Very happy the book and no feelings or empathy for the family.
