Anis Bhatty

- poor communication - incorrectly advised us - did not check patient chart or previous history I had a telemed visit with Dr. Bhatty regarding my daughter, who has been struggling with her overall health for about a month now. After an initial visit to Riverside in Rochelle Park last month, we scheduled a second visit with Dr. Bhatty because my daughter continues to struggle with overall poor health including extreme fatigue, body aches, an ongoing cough and swelling in the face. Dr. Bhatty did not check my daughter's chart or health history to see that we were just there (in her office) for the same exact reason three weeks ago. She continued to ask questions that were answered multiple times and ultimately told us we need to go to an Urgent Care center to request bloodwork and a chest xray. Upon arrival to a local urgent care center, we were told that a pediatrician should never refer their own patients to Urgent Care for bloodwork or xrays because they cannot perform those services at the request of another physician. It's unfortunate, alarming and incredibly upsetting that Dr. Bhatty advised us incorrectly and did not take a minute to look at a patient's chart considering my child has not been able to get out of bed for days.
