Don’t waste your time.

It was more of a question and answer session than a physical. I appreciate Dr. Parekh, but I feel since I went on Medicare the time and attention has dwindled. Since the practice fell under Hartford Healthcare there also was a drop off in personal attention. Not surprising, but very disappointing.

I’ve been seeing Dr Parekh for over 15 years. I’ve never had such a helpful doctor. My depression was severe after surgery. She and her staff provided very sympathetic care. I love her

Dr. Parekh was very through. She listened and had gentle answers to my questions. She has a very way.

It was my first time meeting Dr. Parekh and I was pleased with her right from the start. She was thorough and I felt like she actually listened to me and cared. She did more for me in my first visit than my previous PCP did for me in 7+ years.

In general, this is an excellent practice. Occasional paperwork and callback issues which I have resolved with them. Doctors, nurses and nurse practicitioners are very good, very attentive and give individualized attention and care.

I highly recommend her, she’s very compassionate,welcoming and understanding and I’m very blessed to have her as my primary care provider.

Dr Parekh is kind and knowledgeable. She is very thorough and yet pleasant to deal with. She and the staff always take the time for me to feel cared for and comfortable.

I have a good rapport with Primary Care. I find Dr. Parekh very easy to communicate with and I trust her expertise. She doesn't talk at you, she converses with you. She answers questions and addresses concerns and is willing to consider alternative remedies if she feels they would be safe and truly beneficial. Dr. Parekh offers a conservative approach to treatment initially and does not lean toward over medicating......only what is required to get the job done of which I am personally in favor. This practice is extremely busy but, very good about getting you in in a timely manner when you need to be seen. Their covid protocol for office visits is safe and very efficient. Wait time is minimal. It is not uncommon to be put on hold when calling in due to the heavy volume but, hold time is generally brief. This practice is a stickler for preventive screenings and keeps an excellent accounting of what you have had done and when. I do stand by this original review (for the most part). Having said that, there has been a noticeable decline since the practice was "purchased" by Hartford Healthcare. Sadly, that can now be illustrated in the entire medical "profession"......every facet of it. The humanity and integrity are obsolete. The financial bottom line is the primary objective. Financial gain is paramount. This is only the beginning of the dehumanization of society. I have a good rapport with Primary Care. Dr. Parekh is a kind and very caring provider. Always takes the time to listen and includes patient in decisions. She does not rush through the appointment. She is very thorough with the exams. She always allows plenty of time to discuss different options with regards to treatment. The staff is very professional and the office is very clean. Prompt return of phone calls. Front desk is very helpful.

I have had the same doctor for the last 18 years and had to switch due to moving. I am glad I found this doctor. They have been very accommodating to my needs and are quick at responding to concerns. The staff is so warm and welcoming and Dr. Parekh has a way of putting an anxious mind at ease. They are quick with referrals and are easy to get a hold of when you have an issue. Dr Parekh was terrible. She told me ‘you probably have multiple sclerosis, no big deal’. This is just from listening to my symptoms and not having any test results. I left the office devastated. Thankfully she was wrong..

It took me two days and holding for half an hour on the phone to reach my physician’s office. Totally unacceptable. I should have direct access to my personal physician. My physician never calls me to discuss my test results, it is always the MA or nurse conveying the results. Not acceptable as they are not qualified to answer my questions. I plan to change this physician’s office because of these rules imposed by Hartford Healthcare system. I like my physician but dealing with Hartford Healthcare system is aggravating for me. I appreciated that Dr Parekh took the time to really listen to my concerns especially in these stressful times.

I had a reaction to the Pfizer Covid vaccine and developed a serious case of hives. I received compassionate care and followup until my issue resolved. Excellent care!

She kept telling me I had some problems with my bloodwork but never explained the significance of the problem. She finally said I had problems with my kidneys, and I asked her if I should see a specialist. She said it couldn’t hurt. Upon seeing a nephrologist, I found that my kidneys are operating at under 50%. I was not happy that Dr. Parekh did not explain this to me. I’m not a medical professional who can understand test results.

I went to ER who sent me to primary who sent me to ER who sent me back to primary and I still don't have a diagnosis nor any type of treatment plan in place and nothing for symptom management or pain has be prescribed. So thousands of dollars later I'm still sick, not getting any better, missing work for all these appointments and paying an arm and a leg even with insurance for everyone to just send me somewhere else and still not help. Knowledgeable, professional, kind, prompt, always an excellent experience!

I was very pleased with my experience with Dr. Parekh. She was efficient and prompt. I was in and out in record time.

I have been a long time patient with Dr. Parekh. She is always very friendly, great advise, care, and details.

This was a surprisingly good experience. I was there for an ultrasound to examine an ovarian cyst. First I filled out a detailed medical history which focussed not just on this issue but also attempted to detect if I was suffering from partner abuse or mental health issues. Then a nurse took me into a room and discussed my survey responses. Then I was shown in the doctor's office where he patiently went over my former test results, what cysts are all about, what he expected from the ultrasound, etc. Then he said he would make an appointment for me to actually get the ultrasound. I said, "we're not doing it today?" He responded that today was just for us to meet each other and prepare for the actual test, which would be done by a tech on a day when he would be there to go over the results with me immediately. I was very impressed and wondered how this practice manages to stay free of the whip 'em in, give 'em a breathless 15 minutes, and whip 'em practice of most of the modern medical world. The office staff are friendly and helpful and Dr. Parekh is one of those doctors who actually listens to your concerns. She has a very warm personality which equates to a wonderful bedside manner.

Dr. Parekh consistently provides me with excellent care and management of my health. She treats patients with a wholistic approach to their health, both mental and physical . She answers questions throughly, patiently and with clarity. I would highly recommend her as your personal physician.

The staff has always been extremely kind ...I have not had insurance for much of my time with the practice which is over ten years now and they are always conscientious and willing to work with me.

Dr. Parekh was very thorough and helpful. Her questions were to the point. Her Diagnosis , prescriptions & clear directives led to a speedy decrease of symptoms. And a return to health.

Dr. Parekh is always prepared when she comes to exam me. She has reviewed my chart completely. She is concerned about my needs and issues.

I am a long-time patient of record, experienced some changes with hospital affiliations, & still pleased with level of care from Dr. Parekh. She ALWAYS answers questions thoroughly & I do not feel rushed. Her compassion & true listening abilities are exemplary! Able to validate a patient's own body awareness, she will incorporate that knowledge into her tx plan or referral. The Scheduling Staff is constantly courteous even amid busyness. Genuine smiles are there from sign-in to appt finish!
