Anita P Pillai

I have been a patient for Dr. Pillai for 17 years. I wouldn't go to anyone else. She is the best and knows exactly how to diagnosis anything. If you have a problem she will make sure she finds an answer.

I am 74 and Dr Pillai has been my internist for at least 20 years. She is very smart, an excellent diagnostician, very compassionate, and has referred me to the best specialists when necessary. I am very grateful to her.

The best, would not anyone else! Complete trust in her!

I arrived at her office at 10:15 for a 10:30 appointment as a new patient for a yearly physical. I made the appointment months in advance. Finally, at 11:20 I was taken back to a room by her assistant. She took my blood pressure, temperature and went over all of my records and then proceeded to tell me that the doctor probably wouldn't be doing a physical today as she was running behind and there were 2 patients ahead of me????? I waited until 11:45 and still no doctor! I finally went to the front desk and told them I had to leave, especially because I wasn't even going to get my physical. I didn't even get an apology from anyone. They just said, "Okay we will cancel your appointment." I drove quite from a distance to get here as she was recommended to me as a great doctor. I don't know if the Elmhurst system is just trying to force the doctors to see more patients than is possible or what! Totally disgusted with the whole situation.

As always my visit with Dr. Pillai went very well. I am 76 years old and I never had such an excellent physician as Dr. Pillai. I always highly recommend her to family and friends.

She is a very good, caring and efficient medical practitioner. We are glad we found her.

My experience was amazing! I love Dr. Pillai, she makes me feels as if I am family the way she cares for me. She provides tools to help prevent disease. She is compassionate, caring and very knowledgeable. I trust that Dr. Pillai will continue to keep me on the right path to healthy living.

Informative and balanced care.

She is a wonderful doctor. Takes time to talk to you and listen to you. My two sons are also her patients and they feel so at ease and comfortable with her. Would recommend her to anyone wanting or needing a physician. So glad she was recommended to me!!

Dr. Pillai has been my PCP for years. At my most recent visit, she was, as usual, kind, professional, attentive, knowledgeable and patient.

She listen to your concerns about your health.. Explains thing so you leave her office know she has given you her undivided attention.

very thorough. Asked a ton of questions and took here time with me. Her follow up is outstanding. Just had to wait 45 minutes for her. Sense of humor too.

She is worth the wait. She is smart, funny, and has a wonderful memory. She gets things. She not only knows her stuff, but she understands that health ism't just what the numbers and conditions (or lack thereof) are. She is always running at least 30 mins behind, and I have been there many times for an hour or two waiting. Call ahead and ask. I always go in, check in, and come back. I go to the Jewel by the clinic, get my nails done, or if at the hospital location, I will get food or browse the gift shop. Again she is worth it. She speaks to your level. I have worked in healthcare for my entire adult life. Elmhurst has the best docs I have been with, and that is saying a lot since I worked and received care from a Malcolm Baldridge award winning health system before moving back to IL. See her. You might have to call to get a sick visit appointment as MyChart isn't always current. But she will get you in.

Best doctor I have ever seen.

Just tried scheduling an appointment with this doctor, next available Thursday the 2TH AT 6:30 PM or is Aug 22nd. Seems a bit booked.

I love Dr. Pillai. I have moved far away but still go to her because she is phenomenal!!! I trust her so much. She is so holistic, smart, friendly, funny and really cares.

Dr. Pillai is awesome along with your staff..I've known Dr. Pillair for over 15 years and I trust her judgment with my health care..

The wait is horrible. Not worth it. She's a good doctor but for a 4pm appointment that I'm on time for, I have to wait in the waiting room for 25 min and then in the exam room for 25 min without anyone apologizing for the wait or giving updates

I love Dr. Pillai she has been my doctor for over 15 years and is the only doctor I trust. Sometimes you may need to wait but she is definitely worth it. She listens to you and gives you the time you need and remembers all the concerns regarding your health even if it has been awhile since you have seen her. She has personally called me if I have left a message regarding an issue l have had. There is no better doctor around. If you are looking for a doctor who will put you first she is it

She is amazing. You will have to wait to see her but she is very attentive when you are with her.

I would never recommend this doctor. After waiting for 50 minutes I went to the counter to see if I had been forgotten. I was told she routinely runs 2 hours late and this was normal for her. I cancelled my appointment and left. While I was waiting a patient of another physician in this group came in 20 minutes late. They were told there was 15 minute window for patients to be late and they would have to ask if they could be seen or would have to reschedule. Talk about a double standard!

Very caring and informative. Makes you feel comfortable and at ease. She also is confident of her knowledge and makes the patient feel assured.
