Dr. Ann R Stroink

She successfully performed neck surgery in 2004 and 18 years later I’m still pain free! I don’t like her scheduling or respect for patients time but I’m happy with the results!

I was very much disappointed in this doctor. It was a while back and I now want to put up a negative review. I have a bad back from gymnastics from my youth and that was in my chart. Dr Stroink walked in and told me to stand up. I did and she proceeded to tell me I was too tall to be a gymnast. It got much worse from there. I’m finally getting help from Northwestern because she intimidated me from seeking help again. The other doctors in the room were just as stunned as me. She has a horrible way of talking down to you. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor.

I arrived early to my appointment, went to get vitals and was waiting on the doctor for over an hour. She finished with previous appointment, and I heard her say " I know she's next, but I'm going in here first" I was livid, and left. I do not recommend her AT ALL. She has no respect for her patients' time.

Dr Stroink has been my neurologist for 20 years. She has gotten me through some very rough times and just did it again. If she’s not your neurologist I’d highly recommend her. She’s the best!! I love her she's awesome! she did my neck surgery she sung me to sleep ????????. I will never forget her kindness. Now that I'm suffering with severe pain again. I pray if I have to have surgery please Lord let it be her. She's beautiful smart and ❤. Blessings Forever!!!

Dr Stroink did my neck surgery and was very supportive through the entire process. She tells it like it is, and listens to her patients.

I recently called Dr. Stroink, thinking I had a pinched nerve. She remembered me by name after 8 years! After some quick strength tests, she determined that I do not have a pinched nerve, but ordered an MRI to be sure. Based on my report of pain, she determined that I have an autoimmune disorder, suggested several blood tests and a referral to a rheumatogist. Her diagnosis was spot-on. Dr. Stroink is smart, personable, caring, and I recommend her without question. She is one of the best doctors I know. I recently called Dr. Stroink, thinking I had a pinched nerve. I have NOTHING but GOOD things to say about Dr. Stroink! Various members of my family have been patients of hers over the last 30 years and she has been completely upfront about anything/everything and I will rue the day that she retires.......

The WORST response staff I've ever encountered, over a month and still no call back

Very negligent surgeon/doctor. Staff does not answer or respond to voicemails/messages. Haven't heard from her or her staff since surgery even though we had to return to the hospital for post-op complications from her surgery. Do yourself a favor and find a different doctor.

Dr. Stroink is an amazing surgeon!! She has a great bedside manner and actually listened to me. I'm so happy that she is my provider.

If I am being honest this may be the single worst experience I have ever been apart of. Left more questions than answers. During the appointment she left the room to answer a call. Everything we tried to share felt as if she ignored it. After a 3 week wait we spent 20 minutes with her. I am concerned for my wife and she left the appointment crying. I felt helpless so back to the neurologist who recommended her.

Dr. Stroink is an incredibly bright doctor with a fabulous bedside manner. She spent at least a half an hour getting to know me and understanding the issues I was having with my shunt. Then she pushed on her staff to ensure that I had surgery within 2 weeks as she promised. I am so excited to get back to normal as I have lived with constant pain since Thanksgiving.

Had back surgery after 5 years of not being able to walk very well. Smartest move I have ever made. Dr Stroink outstanding. She made me feel good all the way through testing and surgery. She is super intelligent and knows her field well
