Anna Alshansky

Took my child to see Dr. Alshansky to understand whether she had ADHD or not. I already had a very strong suspicion she did but I needed a good doctor to look her and listen to us and actually take the time to analyze her school reports and all. Dr. Alshansky didn't even take the time to talk to us properly. She just looked at my daughter and said my child was fine. We went to another doctor and she took time to read 3 years of school reports and time to get to know my child and how she felt. My child ended up being diagnosed with ADHD. This abled us to get the right help and assistance afterwards.

Only wants to use old therapies. My daughter had several visits with her nothing she recommended was progressive. Doesn’t listen, and is very challenging- not going again! And she’s a bit pretentious.

Worst bedside manners form a doctor who should know better. Delivers a diagnosis (that we could easily get from google search) without going in to details. It was obvious she made up her mind without even seeing my child as the questions she was asking were geared to the answers she wanted to hear sometimes coercing the answer. Basically condemned my child at 2 years old without giving us any hope. And that’s something a doctor should never do. We have good friends who’s child was in much more advanced stage and the child pulled through with therapy. This doctor delivered the worst case scenario so she is always right. If the child does better she willl attribute it to the therapy we already started on our own, if the child does not, she will say “I told you so” Worst bedside manners form a doctor who should know better. Dr. Alshansky is not a compassionate doctor. She has terrible bedside manner. We would never bring our young child back to her. She has been doing things for so long a robot could do her job. If you want to be able to talk to a physician and feel like you are learning avoid Dr. Alshanksy. My husband thought she was very condescending. She was definitely rude. We experienced a lot of trauma with our child who almost died and this Dr was more insensitive than any person I have ever told about it.
