I recently had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Baumgaertel for my 4yr old son. I had an initial consult with her then the 2nd visit was with my son & our experience with her was extremely refreshing! Seeing how she worked with my son and was able to understand him in such a remarkable way, I was thrilled! I went in a little skeptical on the process and left with a Load of weight off my shoulders because she helped me understand my son that much better and clarified much of the mommy intuition I had. The atmosphere is very peaceful too which helped my son adjust to a new place much quicker than usual. She is a true Gem & is amazing at what she does! I recently had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Baumgaertel for my 4yr old son. I had an initial consult with her then the 2nd visit was with my son & our experience with her was extremely refreshing! Seeing how she worked with my son and was able to understand him in such a remarkable way, I was thrilled! If you need a dr for your child with autism this is the Dr you need. Dr Baumgartel have been nothing but pleasant she is understanding concerned and listens to your problems, you are never rushed for me to feel uncomfortable around her. I was nervous with my son Matthew first time but I have been going to her for years now and I really miss her dearly if she ever left I call her by the time I need some advice. She is got plenty of experience and knows all the new things going on in the medical world with autism!

Dr. Baumgaertel was one of two doctors that finally helped us diagnose our daughter. There we many doctors that failed before her. We are greatful that we found her. He insights were spot on. She picked up on symptoms that most doctors either missed or dismissed. She was able to connect the dots that other doctors couldn't. One big reason that she was able to provide so much help is that she thinks outside the box. It is surprising how most doctors are unable to do this - in our daughter's case it prevented them for diagnosing her. Although she is expensive b/c she is in private practice we gladly spend the money - she is that valuable. We literally spent hundreds of thousands on doctors/hospitals before her and got no real answers; she gave us answers for a few thousand dollars. Wish we would have found her first. Thank you Dr. Baumgaertel!
