I am so blessed to have Dr. Kulidjian for my Anterior Hip Replacement. My recovery time was amazing! No need for pain medication at 2 weeks post op. Walking without walker or cane at 4 weeks. Extremely satisfied with the whole process. Surgery was fast and recovery went well. Post-op therapy and self-care was quite manageable. Liked the Force updates and exercise recommendations.

Dr. Kulidjian is by far the best Orthopedic surgeon in all of Southern California. She is skilled, knowledgeable, and professional. She is kindhearted and takes the time to listen to her patients issues, address them and provide reassurance throughout the process. She has an excellent team of experts working along side her, providing patient support .

You will want to know that my surgery has had the best possible outcome imagined. I am 70 years old and have had probably 10 or more surgeries. My surgery involved replacing the right knée. I am absolutely amazed at how well it went. There were no surprises; the doctor explained everything thoroughly including the pain I would encounter. By following her directions and doing my physical therapy I am well on the road to recovery after four weeks. I am walking on my new knee Every day. She has my highest recommendation.

She repaced my hip in 2015. Great job but I've downgraded her since. Took me yrs to have my hip replaced and be compensated by the VA. I'm a Marine Corps disabled veteran. Soon as the VA saw I had hip replacement they decided without review I was all better. So I sought to have her review all my medical and image records I have on disk and make a statement as to my condition and the secondary damage it has caused my other hip, lower back and spine. She now doesn't take my HMO and her staff had me changed it only to find out that they gave me wrong info. So now I need to pay upwards of $300 per contct with her. I cannot afford that or even close to that. So guess I go at the VA once again by myself. At 64 hope I can last that long to prove my claim. She an exceptional surgeon but not so exceptional on the compassion side of life. I made the mistake of combining the two. She repaced my hip in 2015. Great job but I've downgraded her since. Dr. Kulidjian is a wonderful surgeon. She saw me when no one else would for my right hip replacement due to osteoarthritis when I was 49 and my left hip replacement this past year was even better. My recovery was much faster with the latest procedure and I'm getting back to full strength faster than I anticipated.

Dr K is the best ever... we truly didn't think my mom would walk again... and she helped her it was the 4th surgery in 3 months ! Dr K is an angel... a genius. We are so very grateful.

This is my second hip replacement surgery. I would not recommend my former surgeon, nor the lateral incision procedure that was done for my first right hip joint replacement in Feb. 2013. The number of precautions involved, the amount of post surgery pain, and the length of recovery were far more debilitating than the anterior approach used by Dr. Kulidjian. I am very pleased with the outcomes I have achieved with Dr. K's approach.

I still remember our first meeting. She shook my hand, introduced herself and told me I was a very tough man walking on a hip so badly damaged. But the confidence she had that she could, in my words; make me whole again. And she did just that. No more pain and my healing was phenomenal. Went from walker to cain to nothing in less than 4 months. My right hip now needs replacement and I will do all that I can to have her do it if she will.

If you are looking for a top notch surgeon, look no further. On March 5, 2021, I had a total hip replacement at Scripps Green. Dr. Kulidjian was my surgeon, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. She is a brilliant, talented, no nonsense surgeon, and I highly recommend her!

I had right hip replacement with the very innovative and progressive direct anterior approach. Dr. Kulidjian is a precision surgeon-cutting edge in the hip replacement industry. She made sure the scar was not only small but also follows my bikini line and I had absolutely. I pain following the surgery. Within 3 weeks I was back at work walking with a cane. Within 4 weeks I was driving and i have Absolutely no limp. She is a true, caring professional. I love her eagerness to please her patient and make sure he/she is actively moving within the first day of surgery. I wholeheartedly recommend her!

I'm thoroughly satisfied with my total hip replacement by Dr. Kulidjian and her team of specialists. I'm 78 years old and I was able to get back on the exercise bike and stair climber one month following the surgery. I voluntarily left the hospital four hours after the surgery and I required less than the recommended dose of over the counter pain medications. Dr. Kulidjian made the experience as pleasant as possible.

Dr. Kulidjian is a fabulous orthopedic knee surgeon. The Dr. replaced my left knee and within six week I was totally pain free and riding my bicycle. My right knee was replaced about 13 years ago in Arizona and I thought I had a quick recovery but compared to the left knee that Dr. Kulidjian replaced the recovery was fantastic. She is an awesome surgeon. Dr. K is exhaustive with pre-surgery tests, and it is great to know that she has exactly the information needed to ensure the best outcome. I was up and out of the hospital after an overnight. She surrounds herself with a great team and they get it done like clockwork. Great experience.

Dr. Kulidjian put my mind at ease about the hip replacement within a few minutes of meeting her. Shortly after the surgery was performed she visited me in my room and was very encouraging and fun to talk to. Everyone within the Scripps hospital system spoke highly of her. It' been a week since the surgery and already I'm rapidly improving. Much of the pain, if not all of it, I had been experiencing prior to the surgery has disappeared. The pain of surgery is also rapidly fading. Also, she and Candace have been super helpful with the disability insurance process making this time a lot less anxious than it could have been. a minute ago If there were ever a surgeon to not only put you at ease having surgery and then deliver great results, Dr Kuidjian is that surgeon. She did a fantastic hip replacement. I couldn't asked for more that's what she gave me and really, she gave me a new life. Thank you Dr. Kulidjian. She's left UCSD Thornton Hospital and I just may be needing my other hip replaced. I just had hip replacement surgery in October and found Dr. Kulidjian to be a superior surgeon. I look forward to being ready for her to replace my other hip in a few months. She is very matter of fact, while still being compassionate and reassuring. I even had to reschedule this hip replacement for a couple of months because of another surgery that I needed prior to this one. Her staff, especially Isabel, have also been extremely accommodating and pleasant. I highly recommend Dr. Kaludjian

Fighting prostate cancer, I have had zero testosterone levels for 15 years. My bones are a mess. Had 6 fractures in my hips. Went thru 5 doctors at a different Hospital/medical group before it was suggested I go to UCSD & Dr. Kulidjian. She performed both of my hip replacement surgeries. She is the best! I highly recommend Dr. Kulidjian.

Dr. Kulidjian performed my total hip replacement surgery and I am very happy with the results. Two weeks after surgery I am pain-free and walking without assistance. My interactions with her have been brief, however she's always polite and straightforward. We even joked a little in the OR before surgery began. She performed the surgery, while her surgical resident and intern did the follow-up in the hospital. I recommend her.
