Great doctor who genuinely cares about the treatment of all her patients.

I have been seeing psychiatrists since I was 16 years old for depression and anxiety. Dr. Kingsley doesn't just write prescriptions - she actually communicates with you and lets you decide what you want to do. I told her, when I first started with her, that I am very sensitive to different medications, and she starts me out on the lowest dose when we are trying something new and titrates upward. I never feel like I'm being forced to try a med or leave feeling confused after an appointment. She genuinely cares about how you are doing. Sometimes, she is running late because she has to see a patient longer to help them, but I think it is worth it because of the quality of the appointment. I would definitely recommend her. I continue to travel about 30 minutes when there are other options because she treats me like a human being rather than a number. I have been seeing psychiatrists since I was 16 years old for depression and anxiety. Dr. Kingsley doesn't just write prescriptions - she actually communicates with you and lets you decide what you want to do. I told her, when I first started with her, that I am very sensitive to different medications, and she starts me out on the lowest dose when we are trying something new and titrates upward. Dr Kingsley is an experienced dedicated medical professional who is caring and precise with her finding extremely accurate. She will get to the heart of the matter rather quick and will not do a shoddy job on you. She is very analytical so don't mistake her quiet behaviour a negative. She will look in your eyes and tell you what to do to get well. Her meds review took a long time because of her dedicated professionalism. When the session begin s, she is very nice as it is when it ends. She listens to you with the deepest concern. She deserves her five stars. Simply disgraceful. I met A. Kingley in the Baptist ER. After not honoring three refusals to talk to her, A. Kingley coaxed me into talking with her stating it would be “off the record”. She lied. My mistake in trusting her, but I was drugged and alone assumed that she was ethical. Her further actions lacked good judgment and caused me and my family unnecessary emotional trauma. When I was discharged from the hospital after nearly dying of renal failure, I told my normally tranquil therapist what happened. She was in disbelief and noticeable upset at Kinsley’s actions. Unethical, manipulative, poor judgement and a bold-face liar. Would like to think she could change, but I wouldn’t be her Guinea pig. Simply disgraceful. I met A. Kingley in the Baptist ER.
