Appointment went very well - Dr. Elger came in, introduced himself and then reviewed my medical history and discussed dental issue. He answered questions and addressed concerns I had. .. For this one tooth’s extraction, I chose local anesthesia over the twilight sedation, as I was only needing the one extraction. .. I was first given topical numbing with a cotton swab at the site in order to ease the injection “pinch.” Then I was given the 2 shots of the dental block and then waited a little bit (say, 12-15 mins?) for that to take full effect. .. The rest of the procedure went smoothly, too, and was completely painless - felt no pain whatsoever during the extraction!! ...About the office in general - The office is clean and pleasant. The office staff are helpful, efficient, professional. The medical staff are knowledgeable and professional - they check on patient and go over everything, discussing what one can expect during visit, post-op care and billing (charges/ payment).

I brought my son in to get some wisdom teeth extracted. Not impressed with Dr. Elger’s bedside manner; found him to be lecturing & somewhat rude. Would not recommend him. The front desk staff and billing woman were friendly and polite.

I was terrified about the bad tooth I had that needed to be pulled. I live in Springfield, and no one here could pull it, and put me out until August 1st. My dentist here, said that Dr. Anthony Elger could get me in, and they could do what I needed. I went on Wednesday April 28, they even said that they could that day!!
