Dr. Anthony V Santoro SR.

Dr. Santoro was a court assigned Forensic psychologist in a custody matter. His job was to remain neutral, collect all the facts including psychometric testing (which his wife administered), speak to all collateral contacts, visit environments, and conduct interviews. He failed to contact all collateral contacts and this seemingly was based on a prejudicial view he formed having only contacted one witness alone. This means he did not do a proper job, did not have all of the information to make an informed decision in such a crucial matter, and the only accountability that would have been suffered by him as a result, was embarrassment at court on the stand as lawyers from all parties involved called the investigative report that he submitted 'one of the worst forensic reports' they all have ever read. Rather than help bitter matters come to a peaceful resolution, his report created more ambiguity and angst thrusting all parties further into legal battles. His office is small, in a large building, and his wife conducts all phone calls largely on his behalf. There are no secretaries. The office is not intimidating. It's a typical office, couches, chairs, he makes his coffee, and asks you questions all the while jotting down notes and quoting you without telling you he is quoting you. This too often was not correct. He often misquoted, and at times, submitted his report with a story he claimed I told him, when in fact, it was the other side who told him that story. His facts were often inaccurate, incorrect, and with so many inconsistencies able to be proven in one report, it's unfair to have to pay such a high price for an inaccurate, inconsistent, and false evaluation that had smatters of truth here and there. A court and judge need to find evaluators worthy of the job, up to the task, who do not form biased opinions, and speak to all collateral contacts as required. Evidence was blatantly ignored and absent in his report.

Dr. Santoro is an excellent therapist who has helped me immensely with issues of anxiety, depression, and low self esteem. I am a very different person than I was a few years ago because of him. He is professional, empathetic, and truly cares. Having been to other therapists whom I did not feel comfortable with, I can tell you that Dr. Santoro is truly the real deal.

It is imperative that this individual be investigated and his license taken away before he can do any further harm to people and families.

People who were bullied as children and never got over it should not be in positions as adults that allow for the abuse of trust and power.

Outstanding therapist. I've been to several through the years so I know the difference between a good and bad therapist. Dr. Santoro Is professional, kind, insightful, caring , and empathetic. He has helped me immensely.

Not competent and also not ethical. Surprising.... and deeply disturbing.
