Dr. Santillan is wonderful!

Wait times are so long.. it takes around 6 hours to move through the machine there. Don’t feel like anyone is important and it’s just a daily cattle call.

Dr. Antonio Santillan-Gomez is an extremely gifted surgeon and knowledgeable oncologist He carefully analyzes laboratory and scan data to plan your treatment and make adjustments accordingly. I appreciate his compassionate, factual, and honest feedback. I would highly recommend Dr. Santillan-Gomez for your cancer journey.

My visits with Dr. Santillan-Gomez honestly, have been one of best considering that he is my first male Doctor in 20+ years. I never felt comfortable with male doctors due to a bad experience. Dr. Santillan is very patient and will answer all your questions and concerns. Starting from his office staff to the hospital staff, I have absolutely no complaints. Everyone is so nice and patient. I pray that God continues to guide Dr. Santillans hands as he continues to work in this medical field.

He is the absolute best of the best! He saved my life and is one of the most caring doctors I have ever dealt with.

He stood at the end of the bed and said he would take care of me. He did 3 surgeries in 3 years on my vulva. Upon my last follow up I told him I had an itch higher up and without him looking he abruptly replied I didn't do that!!! It's not my expertise.After that attitude I didn't go back. Now about a year later I find out I have vulvar cancer in the area"he didn't do". Needless to say he will not be the oncologist gynocologist who will be treating me. I believed him when he said he would take care of me. He lied. I never accused him of doing anything I just mentioned it.

It went very well. I was seen in a timely manner and treated with courtesy and compassion. The nurses were very professional. As always Dr. Santillan was very informative and willing to answer all my questions. I presented the results of a CT scan and he was quick to address any concerns and add the results to my records. I can not imagine going anywhere else.

This doctor is the best. He takes the time to answer your questions, and has a calm soothing way of dealing with his patients. He performed a complete hysterectomy on me, and I was up walking the next day. I never needed any pain pills either. Six years later I am still glad I consulted him.

I have been seeing Dr Antonio Santillan since May 2017. I could not ask for a more professional,compassionate doctor during a most difficult time in my life. Diagnosed with stage 3c ovarian, he has guided me and treated my situation extremely well. Odds are I shouldn't be here anymore but with God leading me and guiding my doctor, I am so grateful. I even got a second opinion at MD Anderson. They ran all their own tests and biopsies and Dr Satillan and his team were spot on with diagnosis and treatment. Thank you Jesus and Dr. Antonio Santillan.

He guininely cares about his patients so he gives me a warm welcome when he enters the exam room. He is gentle, answers questions completely, and makes sure I understand his answers. Dr. Antonio Santillan was the doctor who performed my riobic laparoscopic hysterectomy after the biopsy came out as being cancer. He did a great job of informing me and explaining everything to me. He did a super great job on the date of my surgery and I experienced no problems during or after the surgery. I was able to be released the next morning. I will refer Dr. Antonio Santillan to all my friends and family.

Great doctor!! Takes the time to explain procedures, Rx and treatment plans. Can be VERY headstrong at times, but overall a gentle doctor. Highly recommend him and his brother. Actually anyone at Tx Oncology.

Cancer is scary enough but, however Dr. Santillan explains your treatment plan in a easy to understand way... But wants more important is that he listens to you, and addresses all of your concerns... He treatment the whole person...

I love this man. He is compassionate, funny, knowledgeable & hard-working. He is a man of faith. I’ve been in his care for over 3 years now & I am in remission for almost 2 years. Dr. Santillan-Gomez is technically a capable doctor, but I believe he is inclined to overuse his skills. Procedures and operations are done when they need not be done. It seems almost that he wants to perform. Don't let his friendly manner trick you.

He is so full of himself. He seems very obsessed with pushing you to have surgery even if it is not for sure that you have cancer. You should avoid him and go to a female gynecologic oncologist who is as skilled as him at surgery or even better than him. Be willing to travel farther to find an excellent female doctor.

The doctor that did my surgery retired but she recommended Dr. Santillan as a dcotor to follow up. He is a very knowledgeable doctor and caring as well. He is very thorough also. I am thankful I was sent to him.

Extremely impressed with his knowledge and meticulous manner in which he has his plan of attack prepared and his thought process. Outstanding surgeon! He's been kind to me and family, listens to us and explains what needs to be done. He's willing to work with MD. Anderson by incorporating their recommendations into my fight on cancer. That benefits me and makes him a better doctor. Many people in the medical field, doctors and professionals, highly recommend him.

Dr. Santillan is a wonderful doctor he has a great bedside manner and he has helped me through a lot. being such a young patient of his I was very scared about having to see and oncologist doctor but he made it as smooth and explained everything in detail didn't hold anything back. the surgery I had also went smooth went home within 24 hrs and healed up pretty nicely. Follow up with him every 6 months. always hope to get good news if its not he makes sure you are fine before you leave the office

Dr.Santillan did my daughters surgery and he did a marvelous job..Dr.Santillan would come everyday during her recovery to the hospital and make sure she was recovering well..he also spoke with me and my husband on our daughters surgery and recovery time. Hes a excellent doctor. I was very comfortable and felt at ease knowing thats hes a caring doctor.im glad to have crossed path with him.
