I just saw Dr. Markman yesterday at the San Marcos Kaiser Urgent Care. The wait time was terrible which is to be expected in Urgent Care after a holiday. Once I was seen, Dr. Markman was quick anf thourough with his examnination. I had quite a nasty sinus infection. He didn't prescribe antibiotics for my infection which I appreciated considering my infection was viral. All in all, very caring and seasoned.

Never see this guy if you don't have to. I went to Kaiser because I had a sore throat and cough. Despite me telling him I had been vaccinated twice, and it showing in my kaiser chart that I had been vaccinated twice, he put down that I had not been vaccinated and had covid symptoms which led to me not even being let in urgent care. I had already taken a covid test the day before, and gotten a negative result which he should have seen in my record. I was sent home without even getting a test for strep or anything else to deal with my symptoms. Two weeks later I go to renew my pain medication for an unrelated condition and they tell me it was cancelled by him when I was in urgent care. That visit had nothing to do with this condition at all so I have no idea why he cancelled my existing prescriptions, but now I have to go 3 days without walking until I can see my primary doctor and get them renewed. Fuck this guy.

I saw Dr. Markham at Urgent Care in San Marcos, after I had taken a fall and was experiencing shoulder pain. He was very professional, friendly, and caring. He arranged for an Xray of my shoulder, and gave me what I considered to be a full explanation of my condition, including what I should do to follow up.

Dr. Markman was very tenacious in researching my hard to diagnose condition. He is a good listener and has great bedside manor. He, above all doctors, has my trust.

First off, please let me begin by saying that I am not an extremely critical person and will always give someone a chance and the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately I cannot say, despite my attempts to be pleased with my care, I have yet to have an encounter with Dr. Markman that left me with a sense of compation let alone any feeling that I received quality care what so ever. he has consistently given the strong impression that he neither cares about my concerns or the progress of my health. quite honestly, this experience has been a nightmare and shutter to think there are other patients that may be receiving the same lack of quality treatment you would expect from a highly trained medical professional (however, I cannot with a clear conscience venture so far as to call him professional let alone 'highly trained' in medicine or otherwise. My first few experiences with Dr. Markman left me chronically misdiagnosed expanding over a four month period of chronic severe pain. this was followed by his adamant dismissal and blatant disregard of my orthopedic surgeons recovery directive. As much as I dislike negativity, my advise.... steer clear.

Had to wait 45 minutes for him. He took 20 minutes to come to my room in between seeing patients. Did not seem caring at all and smelt of liquor.

During my many visits with Markman he refused to treat me for reasons that he did not have my records?????Hello...Kaiser has ALL OF MY RECORDS! If you do not know how to use the computer system to access my health & medical records to treat your patients...LEARN!!!! This went on for YEARS....this guy needs to retire..or retrain
