Opted to send my wife home with no pain medications for a kidney stone because ‘it doesn’t hurt until it’s in the ureter’. Except she presented for acute onset of SEVERE PAIN. Why was the pain disregarded??? Why is pain NOT the sixth vital sign??? Why was no physical exam performed?? The only advice he had to provide was that she should lose weight because she had a little fatty liver - ignoring the fact that she is still in pain, cannot exercise due to severe debilitating hip arthritis, and already told him and his nurse TWICE that she is on medications for her weight due to suspected insulin resistance leading to unexplained weight gain. TL;DR: Didn’t listen. Didn’t practice good medicine (failed to address pain, failed to perform full diagnostics, failed to examine the patient, failed to provide appropriate aftercare), didn’t approach with empathy. I know as medical professionals we are all overworked and tired but seriously…. At least try.

He is a very good doctor

He is a great doctor and cured asthma by giving good medicine and Sean Gilbert is wrong he doesn't discuss private information with anyone and whatever Sean Gilbert said is wrong don't believe him/ her

This doctor was the most unprofessional individual I have ever encountered in my life. He discussed private information with non-family members, made my condition worse, and lied in the medical records. I had filed complaints but the only recourse was a warning about patient privacy violations. I was informed that medical records are private and not meant to be viewed by the public. Therefore any notes included by the doctor can’t be considered defamation of character. I’m not one to complain, but I feel this is worth a note because doctors are supposed to be there for us when we are most vulnerable, and this individual abused his position, treated me against my will, and altered the records to justify his abuse.
