This Dr has been my Primary Dr for 15 yrs. Over the years the service has gotten worse and worse. The phone never gets answered, prescriptions never get called in or renewed in a timely fashion. Recently I had an injury that resulted in an emergency surgery to have my gangrenous toe cut off. The surgery was scheduled for Monday morning but you need an EKG from your primary as well as a general health check. A 10 minute time frame. He was t in the office Thursday my surgeons office tried getting through on Friday but they were put on hold time & time again. I went to the Dr office at 9:30 expecting to sit there most of the day to get fit in. He called my wife & I into the back and said “ my staff told you I’m booked today reschedule your surgery and make an appointment for the EKG”. My wife proceeded to remind him of the urgency of the surgery. His answer was “ there isn’t anything I can do”. He is no longer my Dr. My surgeons office arranged for another Dr in the group to do it. My wife has been telling me for 5 yrs to change and now I have.

I was with this dr. since 2015. I recently seperated in 2022. He did ok until covid hit, he then became fearful about supporting me with my disability. He began to repeatedly lie about why he couldn't complete my disability paperwork. This caused me unbearable stress. When confronted about his actions his reply was" Thats't the way of the world"-"This is how I do things". Extreme lack of concern for patients condition!

It should not take DAYS for a clinic to be able to pick up A PHONE CALL! It’s ridiculous! I’ve been calling and calling… shouldn’t they have like a upfront receptionist in charge of that?

Dr M is wonderful. He’s very thorough, cares about his patients and makes sure you take care of yourself too

Showed up for my 4:00 appt and the Dr wasn't even there. They said there was no confirmed appt. Even though I have a reminder text for appt today

0 Stars if I could. I had a blood clot diagnosed and he refuses to see me. He had his front office lady send me to a specialist. The specialist was completely shocked he has not been monitoring me and said what he did was borderline Malpractice... If you care about yourself stay away!

A zero is what they deserve. He is the most inconsiderate "doctor" I've ever had. I overheard him calling his patients "welfare patients" when asking if they have arrived! He does not care and will play down all of your symptoms as benign. I had a phone appointment and he didnt even fulfill it! Nor did staff call to reschedule. Simply grotesque treatment, so if you value your life, your self worth, and/or utilize social programs/reduced healthcare AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. A zero is what they deserve. The girl on the phone was so unhelpful and rude when I called to see if they were taking new patients. She almost turned me away before I made her look me up on insurance and then saw I was eligible. I decided to choose Dr. DAVID right by them. His appointment setter was so sweet.

Dr Malhotra and his staff went out of their way to see my father in office during this Covid 19 Pandemic. Dr Malhotra is very caring, very easy to work with and is very thorough. My father is 91and was treated with the utmost respect. We liked him so much that me and my husband will choose Dr Malhotra as our PCP.

This doctor is the worst doctor I’ve ever had. I moved to the Inland Empire and had run out of my prescription medications and needed a new local primary care doctor anyways, so I started seeing Dr. Mulholtra. I had my previous medical records sent to his office, partially because some of my previous medications were new and I could not remember all of them. When I went in to see if he could re-prescribe them to me he said he had no medical records from my previous doctor, even though I had confirmed with the receptionist that my records had indeed been received at the office couple of weeks prior. He was arrogant and kept interrupting me. He also told me there’s no way he’d know what I was taking if I didn’t remember off the top of my head - he clearly didn’t even attempt to access my medical records which came in weeks prior to my appointment with him. After I told him what I could remember of my medications he said I needed a psychiatrist to prescribe them. I found a local psychiatrist and she prescribed me all my meds, except one, which she told me to go back and have him prescribe because he should have been able to. This is one of the meds I did remember to tell him about in my initial appointment with him and he didn’t seem to know what it was as he asked me what it was for. I told him, and when my psychiatrist sent me back to him, he asked me the same thing, why I needed it and what the medication was for. I’ve never had an issue with a doctor prescribing my Truvada, but this was ridiculous. He is brief, does not give you the time of day, but rather gives you the runaround. I did not feel like he cared about me as a patient at all. I will be getting a new doctor. I should have read the reviews on here before going under his so called ‘care’ to begin with. The reviews speak for themselves. He has about 20 bad ones, and about 20 good ones. Spare yourself the frustration and find a different doctor, unless you want to be made to feel like YOU should be the doctor with all the knowledge, facts, and answers.

No urgency for care the needed.

This so called doctor couldn't even sign EDD paperwork (after having them for 5 days) so now we are losing our benefits. But obviously he doesn't care.... he is making his big bucks !

This office has gone above and beyond countless times for my husband. Dr. Malhotra takes him time going over lab results and what they mean. I’m glad I found this doctor and his great team.

Ok first of all I am one of those guys that has never really gotten sick his whole life. The only time I saw a doctor was when it was a emergency. I am at that age when you should have certain things checked out. I ended up seeing Dr. Malhotra and sure enough I got some shocking news and he referred me to some very excellent doctors and things are fine. I saw him again today and had been a while and was nice to see him. I grew up in a small town, like a few thousand. The doctor that stood and watched me deliver my son was a friend of mine every time they went to the doctor it was not stressful because we were all friends. That is the way I felt today when I saw him. It's so easy to talk to him and feel so relaxed and unintemadated and can talk about anything. That's the way it should be. Terrible Dr who does nothing to help his patients. Will never rely on him or his staff to help my family

Vanessa one of their interns is a very mean person doesn't know how to talk to you very unprofessional doesn't know how to talk to people.and I heard the cussing with f word person sitting next to her never go back there.

I am switching Doctors today. This office is terrible and they could care less about there patients.. Office staff is mean and condescending .... I have suffered enough with this Doctor and his staff and will never return

Horrible doctor and staff.

I went in around June to get 2 spots checked and saw the PA, she said oh, they are nothing... just watch them and refused to give me a referral to a dermatologist. ( I advised her I previously had basal cell removed so I was concerned thats what they were). The spots kept growing and I called insurance advising I wanted them checked and they refused to give referral so they sent me back and this time Malhotra looked and said they are probably nothing but gave a referral because I had complained to insurance, which he was not happy about. One spot was in fact cancer. So glad I didnt rely on these people to watch out for my health... I wont be back here! The front office is horrible to deal with they are NOT on it. It takes weeks to get referrals faxed to the specialist after I have already recieved confirmation in the mail. They are NOT on top of things like getting medical records. They mixed up my appointment 1 time and I came in for nothing wasted my time then treated me like I was crazy. Never recieve appointment reminders. Never get calls back when they say they will call with test results. Unprofessional they are. The only only reason I go Is because i love the PA Casey shes a good provider that does her job unlike the front office. Dr. Malhotra is one of the best doctors in the High Desert. I highly recommend him to anyone that needs a caring, attentive, and intelligent doctor. He takes his time and explains everything thoroughly to all his patients. His staff is always on top of everything with referrals, to prescriptions to daily messages. Dr. Malhotra and his staff are great! My family and I all go to him now and have been very satisfied with his caring nature and his staff's pleasant attitude. I seen Dr Malhotra couple times and was very professional answered all my questions and concerns but I must say his I'm now seeing his assistant new PA she's been in his office for over a year and I'm very happy with her service she's the best in the high desert I seen several doctors and I feel finally I found someone that cares and spends enough time with you. Anyone looking for a new doctor this is the clinic to go to I have nothing but good things to say

I have made several calls to get Rx for refills, the staff don't seem to know how to take a phone message and the Rx I have gotten are wrong. They don't seem to pay much attention at all.

The staff were great the doctor was very rude and didn't take his time explaining things to me when ever I asked him about an issue I'm having he would tell me he's not in that profession in a very aggressive manner I changed doctors and I'm very happy now

The front office girl they had before is gone. And the new girls are so rude to patients. I wasnt able to get my medications til I saw the Dr. And I had not ever had a problem before. These new girls are very unprofessional and childish. They made my visit hell. If I didnt have a History with the Dr. I would never go back because of those girls. They have so much attitude. Its really very sad that the office has changed for the worse. I used to enjoy going to the Dr. Cause the girl before was so pleasant. Dr. Malhotra is a efficient and caring physician. I have been with him for abouut 3-4 months and he is helping change my health dramatically. The front office is wonderful as well. A special thank you to Ilse and Rei for being so professional, kind and welcoming.

Dr. Malhotra has been a great doctor for my wife and I. After many years of great care with the late Dr. Vargas, we had to search for a new doctor and Dr. Malhotra comes closest to the level of care we had been accustomed to with Dr. Vargas. Dr. Malhotra takes the time to explain things thoroughly, and seems genuinely concerned with improving your health, not just treating the immediate concern. I would highly recommend Dr. Malhotra for anyone looking for a doctor practicing Family Medicine.

I he is a good doctor

Dr. Malhotra is very easy to talk to, he does not rush in and out. Patient and caring. Handsome too!

Dr. Malhotra gives a patient more time than any physican I have ever met. He cares for me as a real person. And his concerns are for the whole patient, body and soul.

The first time I went to Dr. Malhotra's office, I waited for about 20 minutes passed my appointment time until I finally got to meet him. I explained my horrible headaches and deteriorating vision and he proceeded to dismiss every valid concern I had. He cut me off several times when I was speaking to him and told me that a procedure I received at the ER that helped alleviate some of my painful symptoms was a waste of hospital funds. Only the beginning of the pain I'd endure with Dr. Malhotra.

Dr. Malhotra has been my doctor for the past 2 yrs. The office visits may not always be quick but that is because he takes the time to listen, covers all issues past & present, is thorough & compassionate but stern when appropriate. He takes the healthy approach promoting his patients to healthier lifestyles, addressing eating habits, exercise, relaxation alternatives for hypertension, etc. He thoroughly addresses all follow up on lab work, xrays etc. directly in his office.

This Dr is very Rude and unprofessional. He talks down to his patients and does not listen. I would not recommend him to anyone. He was constantly reminding us that he has no time and he is too busy.

It was the most complete exam I have had in years and i appreciate his working with me to get cholesterol check that day in office, because I had fasted for over 12 hours. I was very pleasant & did not rush me. Listened to me well. He seemed better than Utah Dr. I had before moving her.

Dr. Malhotra is very courteous and professional. He actually sits down and listens to you. I highly recommend him as a family physician.

I have been with Dr Malhotra for quite a few years and I can say he's been the best for me. He always takes his time in my visit with me and I never feel that I was rushed. Highly recommended!

Just started using Dr. Malhotra as my primary care physician. I am impressed with his knowledge and the time he takes to explain everything.

Dr. Malhotra is extremely dedicated to his profession as he is with his patients. How many doctors would call at. 9 p.m on a Sunday to advise you to go to the E.R.? To say he saved my brother's life is putting it mildly. If you call his office after hours and it's urgent he will call you. He will spend the time necessary until you have understood everything. I told him that we would follow him when he moved, except he followed me since now I'm only 3.4 miles from him.

He is a gray doctor he stays up on all his treatments it never feels like he's in a hurry to get you in and out of his office he takes the time to figure out your problem b4 doing any major treatments....... He is vary awesome and he is vary good with kids as well my children love him as well Thank you Doctor malhotra

Dr. is always friendly, answers questions and is genuine in his care for patients.

The staff was very friendly, dr. Malhotra was thorough and professional, the office was clean, and I appprecited how fast they were.(please keep in mind most doctors offices will take AT LEAST 3 hrs for new patients, paperwork, and processing...my experience as a new patient was a total of 1hr, Which is phenomenal)

Except for the long wait time, this doctor and his staff are excellent at service. The long wait time needs to be addressed.

I have been a patient of the Dr. since he started practicing in the high desert. I have had only a good experience with the Dr. Whenever i needed a specialist he always got it approved. Whenever a medicine was need it was always the correct one and in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend the Dr.

Rude unfrendly.arrogant. Was told not to ask questions until he got to know me. Basically saw him once. I have multiple diagnoses which he hardly addressed. After one visit despite my major medical issues was told to come back in 3 and a half months. Waited one and a half hours and not one staff member came to me to address it. Staff is surly. I think they use their computers as a line of defense as they do not look at you while at the front desk.

Dr. Malhotra is a very thorough and thoughtful care provider. He takes the time to listen to concerns and explains medical treatment plans carefully in an easy to understand manner.

I love this Doctor and I believe he is very concerned with give proper diagnosis and not just handing out meds, but trying to get a procedure approved or get any paperwork sent to where it belongs is next to impossible.The staff mainly just the one that runs things, is terrible the one at the front desk (Irene), she is rude, incompetent and blames all of her mistakes on the other staff and even the Doctor!! She is causing this Doctor to look bad. If is wasn't for her I would have given 5 stars
