Dr. Ayman Akkad

Dr. Akkad is a wonderful doctor and has helped my children for the last 4 years. He’s very kind and goes above and beyond. I highly recommend coming to this office.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The most unprofessional doctor I’ve ever seen. His staff are insanely rude making jokes out of illnesses. Wait time is ridiculous. The funniest part is that he told me to google my illness after I asked him to elaborate in English (He was speaking Arabic the majority of the time) He even had the wrong labs pulled up. The answer to most of our (vague/simple) questions were “I don’t know.” Not only that, he doesn’t give you room to talk. He was constantly talking over me. It was until I had to raise my voice for him to give me a chance. I absolutely do not recommend seeing this doctor. Him and his staff are SO unprofessional. If I could give 0 stars I would. Nice doctor. Extremely over scheduled. Wait time is ridiculous. Very unorganized office staff. They lose everything and fail to get back with you in a timely manner. Prescriptions take forever to get called in.

I like this doctor personally, yes he cracks jokes so what! Who doesn't want a personable doctor?? He LISTENS to your concerns and make the necessary adjustments to your needs! If you have a complaint HE WILL FIX IT ASAP! yes the office is quite busy and there's a wait but when it's YOUR turn it's NEVER rushed! I would not go to doctor plays a lot do nothing for diabetic.

Dr is very nice but the wait ...... be prepared to be there for 3 hours minimum Very inconsiderate to people’s times , trying to squeeze in as many patients for the day as possible worse then an urgent care during flu season

I am Rana Faraj, he is the nicest best doctor I have gone to in Michigan . I truly adore him and his staff ! They text me every morning to ask how my blood sugar is and if everything is okay.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a doctor's office. Dr Akkad refused to see us after being 15 minutes lare. The office is very disorganized. All we needed was my son's blood drawn, but he made us drive back the next day. We live an hour away. When we finally met the doctor. He was horrible at explaining anything to us about my son's health. I will never return to this doctor!

Just found out after making an appointment 2 weeks ago, that Dr.Akkad is no longer with the dearborn office. My daughter was suppose to be seen today so that she can have her medication refill and now there is no way to do this. I have never been to such a disorganized Dr. in my life. Shame on him for calling himself a doctor. There's so much more but there aren't enough characters left to type with... AWFUL!!!!

I was there today with my son and waited three hours and he left before seeing us.He left without telling any of the staff.It was a terrible experience. His staff was left to explain his behavior. Luckily another physician went over my sons tests results with us.I would never recommend this physician. The staff and other physicians were helpful however I felt so completely disrespected by this physician it makes me question the practice that employs him since they seemed to know his behavior.
