Dr. Azhar Nisar

He's a good doctor

My family loves Dr. Nisar. He is a kind compassionate doctor. He listens well. I have serious issues and he has walked with me on my journey. Thank you Dr. Nisar and your staff esp Rachel who is amazing.

First of all, the healthcare system in Dalton GA is firmly stuck in the 19th century. There is no centralized medical record system, so specialty and primary care physicians apparently have no way of knowing who is treating who and for what. Of course, this is based on the assumption that these physicians actually care about their patients (which is questionable at times). When asked to contact an out-of-state family member there is no response from the physician's office. And when contacting any physician office in Dalton the receptionists without fail are rude or curt, or some combination of both. As for Dr. Nisar himself, I don't believe he follows his patients that closely. If he cannot fulfill his duty of care to ALL his patients then he should not accept new patients and should re-think his career choices.

I LOVE Dr. Nisar and his staff. Everyone is kind and helpful. Dr. Nisar listens and shows he cares. I feel well taken care of in this office and would recommend them to anyone. They make me feel important and like they care about me and my health.

Never can get ahold of them so they will do refills on prescriptions. Said they would send over the refills at the appointment, never did. My dads a diabetic and I’ve been trying to get his insulin refilled for over 3 weeks. Tried calling several times and the pharmacy has faxed over requests several times. Cant ever get ahold of anyone. My mom is sick and the doctor is always on vacation. No help no guidance. Nothing

Called on Jan 23rd to make appt for my mother. The girl told me to have her there on Jan 24th at 8:30AM..MY brother and sister drove my mom over to find they are not even OPEN on FRIDAYS..What kind of place would do this..MY 89 year old mother just didn't need this..They need OFFICE help that knows at least the HOURS OF OPERATION...

I think Dr. Nisar is a kind,gentle and compassionate Dr. I am thankful to have a Dr that cares about his patients and their well being.

Mom was dying of lung cancer he cut her meds in half. Said after chemo he would raise back up he didn't. He has no idea what patients needs are he will ask you and must time can't remember you. Worse doctor in nw ga. I will never forgive him for letting mom died in pain.

What I wrote on my review ,never made it ,because I gave a bad 1 ,do people pick an choose only the good ones ,because a Dr can just cut your meds out after 11 yrs of taking them ,with no warning to find another dr to get them from ,an especially being a cancer patient ,that's as low as he can go

Good doctor and good customer service

He will cut you out of your meds ,for no reason at all ,cut a cancer patient out of Xanax ,been taken for 11 yrs ,an he decided to cut me out ,what kind of dr does this ,to a cancer patient

Most of the time they are over booked and you have to wait several minutes after your appointment time to be seen. I always feel rushed and don't feel like he keeps up with my medical history bc I always have to tell him things that he should have in my file bc I have told him the same things on prior visits. Every time he starts writing refills for my meds I not only have to tell him what meds he prescribes for me but I have to remind him of the dosage. I don't feel confident in his care

I trust Dr. nisar and have the upmost respect for him and his plan of care for me. The only problem I have is with the staff. They are not friendly at all and most are rude and make you feel like a burden to them.

Dr Nisar is the kindest Dr I have seen. He is a very busy man but is always making sure you get test u need. He is best dr l have seen.

Dr Nisar is an excellent Dr. He has been kind to me & my entire family. Not only do I see him but he also sees my husband & brother. The only problem I've had is with one nurse. She stuck her head out the window & asked me something that I had already discussed with Dr Nisar. It was embarrassing. His main nurse Maria is so kind & sweet. She always goes out of her way to help me schedule any tests Dr Nisar sends me to have done. I could't ask for anyone to be any kinder to me than Maria is. RJB

He is an outstanding Dr. I would recommend him highly to anyone. He stays up on top of the latest medical information available. He is kind, compassionate and caring.

Wait time was atrocious. This doctor overbooks and rushes his patients out the door. I was given a total of 3 minutes with the doctor and rushed for blood work and out after 10 minutes as a first-time patient after waiting for over an hour after my appointment. I did not receive the correct tests I wanted and I feel ripped off. These are cold, cold people.
