worst front desk staffs!

This place is horrible. Very unprofessional. They don’t pick up the phone and when they do they are very rude. I spoke to some male today and simplify brushed everything off and said go get another doctor. My mother went in with the same Complaint about pain she was having and the doctor herself told her it’s normal. No further follow up was done. This happened twice and both times she brushed off the symptoms and said it’s normal. All they care about is money and getting as many people in as they can in one day. Love DR. WIQAS but her front desk staff is absolutely horrendous!!!. They never answer the flipping phones and when they do they put you on hold and never return!.

The doctor is excellent and i rate her 10 stars but her staff is horrible. I go only because Dr. Wiqas is a very thorough physician and has excellent bedside manner. The office staff is uneducated and argumentative and has no customer service skills. Everytime I have an appointment I dread any interaction with the inexperienced staff. Recent encounter the front desk and office manager kept arguing that my mom has a co payment and i kept telling them she has fidelis Medicaid and medicaid has no co payment. The receptionist refused to call the insurance and told me to call to confirm. After being on hold for 30 mins i speak with the insurance rep and she told me there is no copay. I go up front to the receptionst and give her my cell phone so she can talk with them. She said she doesnt need to talk with them and then i asked her so what was the point in making me call if she doesnt want to speak with the insurance company????She ignored my comment and did not say anything and acted as if i was invisible. SO RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Then today i went back for myself and I did have a copay and I gave her (This time an oriental receptionist) my debit card to pay. She pulls me to the side and says my card has been rejected meawhile i have sufficent funds in my bank account. She made feel like i have no money in my account and then takes me tothe back to show me. They do not have a card swipe system they have a manual online payment system which you have to manually type on the credit card information. I tell her maybe she entered it wrong and when she did it the second time it went through. Instead of calling me to the side and embarassing me in front of a waiting room of patients she should have retyped it thinking it could be a typo to avoid the embarassment I had to face. Horrible service, horrible reception, waste of time, extremely unprofessional staff. Doctor is negligent and cares only about her money.

Dr wiqas is the least caring, most unprofessional medical personnel I have ever dealt with. First of all, she is very dismissive. I had to fight her tooth and nail just to get tested for STDs. I almost gave up after she refused to write me a script, because “I didn’t have symptoms” (is she not aware that many STDs can be present in the body without showing physical symptoms)? Not only that, I DID have symptoms, and she didn’t even include testing for the disease I had symptoms for!! At my second trip to the lab the script was still incorrect and it took me 3 visits just to get tested for the disease I was concerned about. I feel like a primary care physician should have general knowledge on STDs, and the empathy to be helpful about helping her patients get answers. She was in a huge rush to get me off the phone during a virtual visit, when I had a few questions about my symptoms, but any time I come for an in-person visit, she pays more attention to her phone than she does to me.

Courteous, both staff and the doctor and they are very accommodating with appointment. When being seen, she answers all my questions and is very helpful in finding solutions and referring me to other doctors. Like to get to know you to better help you with your health issues and problems. I would recommend her to anyone.

Feel sorry for anyone who walks through those doors. Horrible service. Horrible wait time. You get 5 mins or less to talk.

Very satisfied one of the best doctor

Such a great experience. Very friendly Dr Azra and compassionate office staff, nurses and doctor. Highly recommend her and her office.

This doc has terrible wait times. Every dr in NYC has as good or better service than this one. Get with the program.

Visited this doctor when i had fever, doctor paid attention to all my concerns and staff was very caring. Doctor is amazing when it comes to the care of her patients.

I looked forward to seeing this doctor but the staff at the desk is ridiculous they tried to tell me that I had a 35 dollar copay when in all reality I didn't .. I called my insurance company and they said that was false don't let these people rob you

I don't even want to give this place a single star, staff members are pathetic. I went in just for regular visit with the appt, front desk told me if I'm late they not gonna tk me, i was 5 minutes early and the time i check in there were 6 patients ahead of me. I don't mind waiting few minutes but 1 1/2 hr come on. I only have one day off can't spend 2 hrs just to see her sorry!!! Staff members are so cold and pathetic and when I complain ab this with Dr Wiqas she said she can't do anything ab it. It took an hour and 25 minutes to get seen on a Wednesday morning, With appointment. I was rather disrespected that she thought I was in some random community college student, when I've been a full ride honors kid for ages and she knows that. Called and asked for antibiotics since my symptoms worsened and I never recieved the order to my pharmacy even 2 weeks later! Was forced to go to hospital for urgent care instead. Very dissapointed.

wait time for Dr. Wiqas is ridiculous, don't expect your appointment time to be honored at all

Shes a great doctor but the wait time at her clinic is too much (about 1 to 2 hours). She's always delayed. Her front desk sometimes makes mistake about appointments and put you on hold forever over the phone.

Made my pregnent wife wait for more than 40mins for a TDAP prescription...even with an appointment..Then they called and asked if she was here for physical, wen she told it was for vaccination...de gave prescription & wen v got da vaccine from da pharmacy...jus to administer da shot...they said we have to pay 270$ , in fact the insurance said the vaccine is covered 100% and no copay needed even...they collected copay anywaz...
