Dr. Babak Marefat

This guy is a joke!! He doesn’t care about his patients, herds his patients through like cattle and his staff is TERRiBLE! He performed eye surgery on my elderly mother and took no time to listen and talk with my mother. He’s rude and talks over his patients rather than show empathy and compassion. My mother has attempted to schedule a follow up appointment 5 different times and his staff doesn’t return calls. When I spoke with him, he blames everything on Covid and short staffed. Maybe he should look in the mirror and seek to understand why he has staffing issues?

I find Dr Marefat to be extremely knowledgeable and caring. He completely explains himself and answers any questions I have. I feel like he is the best Opthamologist in our area.

I love, love, love Dr. Marafat! He has a GREAT sense of humor and takes as well as he gives! Truly a talented eye surgeon!!

My first appointment was quite different from all other medical appointments I've had over the last several years. I have been through a lot of Dr. Offices and Med clinics and Hospital stays. The whole office experience with Dr. Marefat is like orchestrated chaos. I have to admit everyone in his office was professional and extremely courteous. Every aspect of my treatment was extra special. Dr. Marefats team of nurses and receptionist are Polite, show genuine concern and very knowledgeable.

Doctor Marefat is a very talented and compassionate eye doctor. I just recently had cataract surgery and experienced nothing but excellent care from him and his staff. Very throughly and expects his patients to follow his regiment of care for best results.

I have had ongoing eye issues for several years and have visited Dr Marefat on many occasions. He is a wonderful doctor with a very caring manner and great knowledge. His staff is always very polite and helpful answering questions any questions that might come up. I would have a hard time trusting my eyes to any other doctor. I would absolutely refer all family and friends to his office.

Dr. Is great!

Very thorough, great doctor. My roommate uses him and we appreciate all he does.

The way that he treats his staff in public was painful to watch. He degrades them and talks over them. His time with us felt like we are nothing more than a number. He does not listen to you or care for your thoughts. He does not follow through with what he says on everything. He also says one thing, and then contradicts himself in every appointment we have had so far. I am sure he is good with what he does on some things but not with us. We will not be using him anymore.
