Dr. Barry Zakireh

I am a 52-year old male. I needed a psychological evaluation for my family court case requested by the attorneys and then ordered by the judge. Dr. Zakireh was professional, understanding, and compassionate. He scheduled me right away within a week, and answered all my questions. The evaluation took several hours but able to complete it in one day. Dr. Zakireh finished the report and sent it to the court a week after the appointment and my attorney and the judge were impressed with the quality. Dr. Zakireh was very fair and his report was excellent for the referral issues.

If I could give a rating of negative stars, I would. As another reviewer stated, the treatment at first seems promising with Dr. Zakireh; but, then, he suddenly never answers any phone calls or left messages. Worst of all, I paid him a retainer of $3,000!!! And after only a few sessions, I have never heard from him again, and he will not refund my remaining money.I wish I knew who I could turn to to get my money back, but I feel like I will never see this money again. A fantastic expert and wrote an excellent report after I was referred by my lawyer. He took a lot of time understanding and dealing with my case and his report was impressive for both the lawyer and the District Attorney. Recommend 100% as this is a knowledgeable and caring psychologist.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY I received a neuro psych testing session with him, which seemed to go well but, I or my prescribing doctor could in no way receive results. He stopped answering text messages and did not answer phone calls and voice mail is full. Go to this doctor if you want to just talk to someone and pay for it and then never hear anything afterward about it except lies that you will get results. I hope the doctor has this removed because that'll show he is actually paying attention to a client's needs! If you are hoping to get results within a month or so, go somewhere else. I've been waiting two months and have no idea when I am getting my report. It was probably a mistake to pay for the test all up front and Dr Zakireh does not return messages so I haven't heard back from him for the past 4 weeks. Totally unprofessional.
