Dr. Bashir A Chaudhary

Dr. Chaudhary did not listen to a word I said. I told him my problems getting used to a cpap machine in that I feel that I have to fight to breathe out and to see if I could switch to a bipap which has completely different settings for breathing in and out. He didn’t hear anything apparently because he immediately just said that he would set the cpap to the lowest breathe-out setting (4 in, 1 out). My machine has been set to that since maybe a month after getting it. I told him this, he pretty much said then he couldn’t help me and that it was all in my head. I’ve been talking about this frequently in therapy and have tried everything from wearing it during the day to duct taping my mask on at night so I don’t unconsciously take it off. It’s not in my head, it’s physical discomfort. He’s rude and blamed me for my inability to get used to it when the compliance rate for cpap is only 30-60% depending on the study. Dr. Bashir Chaudhary is a GREAT DOCTOR! He's very understanding & he makes it easy for you to discuss things concerning your health!

Dr Chaudhary is very thorough and helpful. I feel so much better after getting a machine for sleep apnea.

No follow up with prescription submission and when they did, information was incorrect. Seven months now with no CPAP and multiple phone calls......would not recommend.

people who answer the phone are extremely rude and have zero answers to any basic questions you may have.

I saw Dr. Chaudhary several years ago. Due to differences in opinion between us, I left his care. So glad I did because since leaving, I receive absolutely the best care and never looked back. Couldn't be happier.

I love this place. I am able to sleep so much better and not sleepy in the day time always anymore. The doctor and nurse's are so caring and understanding. They have the best bedside manners always so nice and caring for you and explaining what you need and how to use the equipment that you need to use ???? ☺

Dr Chaudhary was great. He explained everything to me and the nurses were great giving the test. Afterwards he had the nurse show me where the sleep study would be done and she was so kind in answering all my questions. Thanks so much. Maria Lambert

I have not seen this physician before. My father was a patient of his for many years. My father passed away in early January from Covid complications and Dr. Chaudhary personally called my mother and gave his condolences today when he learned of my father's passing. Thank you such for being compassionate and for treating my father for so many years to your best ability. There needs to be more doctors like you. Dr Chaudhary is an exceptional physician who goes great lengths to be as thorough and caring as possible while treating his patients. I have seen firsthand how my parents and my in laws’ lives have improved thanks to him explaining their diagnosis and providing the proper treatment/therapy that was needed. Rated this office a one for multiple reasons, one was the lowest I could go. Patient care is the most important item I look for in a physicians office. Not everyone is drug seeking or looking for something other than good medical care. My history includes a lot of allergies and some of them being severe. The receptionist that greeted me was wonderful. I attended an appointment in this office today and left feeling the lowest ever. I came due to my current physician is retiring and he had been treating me for increased daytime sleepiness. I clearly have an allergy to medications and due to the expense of other medications, I have been taking a controlled substances. I do not have physicians salary nor want to spend over $1200 a year for one medication. I felt from the time Dr B Chaudrey entered the room that he looked at me as a drug seeker. Being a person that has worked in the medical field for over 15 years, I have seen it all and experienced a lot. I travelled distance today, due to moving all my specialist to the Augusta area. Throughout my medical records from my previous doctor is a diagnosis to explain why I am on the medication. I am not on a high dose of the medication. Not one time did I ask him to perform any task that I was not currently receiving. I even went to the office because the medication that I received is controlled, ready for a drug test if needed. I maintain my refills in a timely manner, do not ask for extra refills and use the medications to stay awake to work and go to school. I will miss Dr Anthony Costrini, who listened to me as a patient and did not treat me as one of those who is seeking DRUGS. I will say to any new patients looking, STAY AWAY, FIND SOMEONE ELSE. Was diagnosed with sleep apnea after a sleep study there and have received excellent care by Dr. Chaudhary for over ten years. Couldn’t be more happy with this practice and physician.

Dr Chaudhary does an excellent job of explaining everything so that it’s easy to understand. He takes plenty of time and answers all questions. I feel very confident in trusting my care to him.

Dr Bashir Chaudhary is the most caring doctor I have ever known. He’s thorough, a great listener, explains everything in terms that a patient understands and never rushes a patient in or out of the examination room. He’s a super guy I would heartily recommend to anyone with sleep issues.

Dr. Chaudhary is my husband's CPAP doctor. He is very thorough in his examination of and communication with his patients. Dr. Chaudhary looks at the whole person. We are extremely pleased with him and his staff.

A brilliant, professional, and courteous doctor. One of the best doctors ever in all our years of receiving health care anywhere. His examination was VERY thorough where he diagnosed a root cause condition not noticed previously. Very caring, methodical and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time needed to examine, and asked very good and relevant questions. His office workers and medical staff were very courteous, professional, and meticulous with documentation. We HIGHLY recommend this EXCEPTIONAL doctor and his staff to all who seek great medical care with a great staff.

I have been using Dr. Bashir Chaudhary for over 25 years. I remember the first time I had the sleep study, I worked night shift. I needed to have it done during the daytime when I slept. His office was very accommodating. At that time, I did not need C-Pap. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field of sleep apnea He takes time with his patients. Wait time usually about 15-30 minutes. Once you are seen by him, you are the most important person. He is also a very dear friend.

I have been a patient for several years and have been extremely happy with the treatment received from Dr. Chaudhary. Unfortunately most doctors give you the impression that they need to hurry on to the next patient. Dr. C makes you feel as if you are the only patient he has for the day. I highly recommend him to anyone who requires the services of a "sleep doctor". The only negative comment I could make is you usually have to wait a while for your appointment.

a very thourough and compassionate doctor

I have been a patient for almost 2 years. During that time, I have experienced difficulty obtaining prescription refills, delays in communication with Dr. Chaudhary, to the point of numerous returned calls to his cell phone. This last development involved a request for a prescription to be sent for medical supplies. After two phone calls by me, two phone calls by my supplier, and a time period of 4 business days, I still do not have my CPAP supplies. Dr. Chaudhary is an excellent physician, but there seems to be a problem with communication.

Dr Chaudhary is a wonderful doctor, and I have every confidence in his diagnosis and care.

His front office staff is awsome!!! They make you feel at home and actually have compassion. He does not let you leave his office until you understand everything. The best ever!!!! WOULD RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE!!! If you snore or have problems sleeping this is the man to see!!

I went to see Dr. Chaudhary several years ago in reference to my sleep apnea. The first thing he did was have me watch a video of him promoting his book, going on and on about himself. After I got my machine I started having problems with it and each time I called him, his only response was 'you aren't trying hard enough'. After about 3 phone calls, he simply said, 'I can't help you because you aren't trying hard enough'. He absolutely refused to look in to the problem. Ultimately, I went elsewhere and haven't had a problem since.
