Dr. Basim Kahleifeh

I received an amazing experience using Mr. kahleifeh and his staff! He took great care of me and was so kind and watchful the entire pregnancy and I just can’t say enough great things about him and his staff! I wish him many more years of success and many more babies

I was a client for a very short time. I went in to have my IUD checked to find out it was lodged in my uterine walls, so surgery was necessary. I was supposed to be well within a couple of days, but 3 days later I was puking uncontrollably and Dr. Kalifes office is closed THURSDAY -SUNDAY and they were actually closed that Monday that week due to him going on vacation. So if you have an issue after a surgery be prepared to not be able to get ahold of your doctor, or have a doctor in place to talk to. So this went on for 3 days before I ended up BACK in the ER, to find out I had an intestinal Blockage / Ileus, CAUSED FROM SURGERY. Kalife NEVER followed up with me. Then I go in for my check up, He still does not mention the blockage, I tell him about it and he completely blows me off.. I ask for a gel birth control since my IUD was removed and Weeks go by and he still had not even called in the prescription! I call the office, to ask about it and mention to them that it is always something with this office, every time I have seen this doctor there has been some sort of issue. She said that I was more than welcome to find a new doctor, I replied with there aren't any other options in Bardstown or I would. After we hang up, his awful assistant called me back to let me know since I am not happy with the service they have went ahead and released me.... and I need to find a new OBGYN because of their 10th mistake .. keep in mind I am STILL dealing with the blockage. Ive had 5 appointments with different doctors since the surgery! Lastly, on top of him having an incredibly rude receptionist.. I forget her name but she says "you welcome" instead of "you're welcome" the office is absolutely DISGUSTING!!!!!!! I highly would recommend to choose a different OBGYN if you have the option. If I could give the Dr. Basin M. Kahleifeh no stars I would have. He is very very inconsiderate. My wife was put in the hospital in the O.R. department. He came to see her knowing she already had chosen another obstetrician to see her. She had let the hospital know that is connected to his practice and he calls her very rudely after being released saying that she should have been the one to call and he is very sarcastic and ugly and then just hangs up the phone. He is nothing but a sweet talker. Nice to your face, wanting your money and then if you go against him he cant handle it. One of the worst doctors my wife had seen. Form your own opinion about this practice but if you feel something he is saying isn't right, question his motive's. Dont let him fast talk you out of the office. If I could give the Dr. Basin M. He done a partial hysterectomy 13 months ago on my wife. She asked that he do a full one and he insisted that only a partial be done. Shes been in pain the last couple months and is now in the hospital recovery from having her ovaries taken out 13 months later. Had he respected her wishes she would have to had to have a second major surgery as they has to cut her from her belly button to her waist. She is now having to got through recovering from that surgery when this surgery should have never had to happen. If u use him be aware he won't do what u want, only what he "thinks" is best. Until today after 20 yrs of seeing Dr Kahleifeh I would tell you he is the best doctor in his field but I will not any longer after the way my daughter was treated today in his office by him and his staff. My daughter had just had a DNC from her second miscarriage But Dr kahleifeh was not sure if this was a normal baby or if it was a molar pregnancy. Which scared us all to death. So she went in for her appointment today she has been having a really hard time not knowing what was next. She was abnormally sore and swollen. Very concerned something was wrong. But when she arrives for appointment she is told all they want is blood work. She needs to see the Doctor . He will not see her or explain her results . I am very surprised with your bedside manner Dr Kaleighfah. Shame on you . God seen you today be so mean to a mother whom had just lost her second child. She was needing her Dr to help her and you turned her away. I know my daughter and myself will no longer be your patients anymore and it will not hurt you at all I’m sure. But god will take care of it all. Love dr and staff. He delivered 2 of my babies and if I had 20 more he’s the only one I’d go to

Pleasant, helpful staff. Was seen on time and Dr. Kahleifeh walked me through everything he was doing and showed me what my problem was. He referred me immediately to an oncologist specialist. He knows his limitations.

I absolutely love Dr. Kahleifeh. He has really helped me maintain my pelvic pain from endometriosis. However, I would highly warn anyone on using his practice due to his unprofessional receptionist. I have been trying since August to schedule an appointment with the doctor due to birth control problems. The receptionist refuses to schedule me and has even changed my medication without consulting the doctor. When I demanded an appointment, she told me she is just as knowledgeable as him.

Great staff and doctor

This was the single most awful experience I've had with any doctor. He was rude. He was condescending. He was dismissive. He couldn't even keep my chart straight (up to and including telling me my baby was having complications that she wasn't.) He missed several tests and the like that my high-risk had to pick up. The staff isn't much better. They're rather short and snide. When I tried to set up my follow-up to get cleared for work, they laughed at me. Awful, awful experience. Never again.

Delivered 2 of my children. Saw him ever visit. Ultrasounds almost ever visit. Definitely recommend.

He is very friendly and understanding and i feel comfortable with him, the only thing i dont like is that you cant get ahold of him after business hours and he doesnt spend that much time with u in the room and doesnt do a very good job at telling you your test results and whats going on! Other then that he is great i have been going to him for years
