Dr. Makunda is caring, understanding, and empathetic. His great knowledge of medicine and ability to hear what the patient needs leads him to deliver an appointment time centered around finding and solving problems. He then orders bloodwork and tests chosen to help determine next steps for the patients. From the time I walked into the office, through the time with the nurse, and with the doctor himself, I felt a positive and empathetic focus. I think I had given up on modern doctors' offices working this way today. I am so glad I have found Dr. Makunda!

Dr Mukunda was initially a Godsent. Very patient when I spoke with him addressed all my concerns. The issue is the follow up messages through MyChart were ignored and we had a virtual visit scheduled for 11:15 am that never happened. Call the office staff is very friendly but they have no answers why the call wasn't made. Some Drs don't need to do virtual visits. Its seems as if you aren't in his face to communicate with him you are not a priority. I'm very disappointed bc I thought I found a Dr I could trust with my healthcare but just another number.

Dr mukunda and the NP are awesome. They listen and care.

As a healthcare professional, I have very high standards when it comes to evaluating other healthcare professionals, however I can not say enough good things about this doctor and his staff.Dr Makunda and his staff are wonderful. Dr Makunda is professional, knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. The NPs in his office are also professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The office often saves same day appointments with an NP for acute illnesses/emergencies and can do virtual appts when needed. I have done several when I was too ill to get there. The medical assistant and the office staff are exceptional, as well. I have been a patient there for almost 5 years and am unwilling to change physicians even though he is not on my new insurance for office visits. The office does provide a cash discount for self pay, which actually ended up being less expensive than my insurance copay. Dr. Makunda has privileges at several local hospitals and admits and follows his patients. There is continuity of care from admit (or pre-admit) through office follow up after discharge. If you are looking for a new physician, I cannot recommend this doctor and staff high enough. Amazing physician and staff. I had a same day appt. via telehealth since I was too sick to drive there. The appt was with his NP and she was able to diagnose and treat my illness without any problems. My antibiotics and anti-nausea medications were sent to my pharmacy and they delivered them within 2 hrs. I was much better by the next day and back to normal within 3 days, all without leaving my house.

Dr. Makunda is a great physician.. As a Registered Nurse, I am very particular about what doctors I see, as I am very aware of physician's short comings and errors made. That just doesn't exist with Dr. Makunda, he is very thorough, listens carefully and does not judge anyone. He is an exceptional diagnostician and calls on other specialties when needed. His office staff is great too. They have always gotten me in the same day if I was severely ill and couldn't wait a day or too. Highly Recommend.

Just a ticket number at the meat market. Hesitant to refer you on to specialty physicians even when they’re unable to adequately provide specific care.

Awesome doctor . The man is one of the most intelligent people I have ever come across and his staff is amazing doing everything they can to provide the best care getting you in for test and doctors if needed. No where else I have been will do that. Dr.Mukunda has the biggest heart and truly cares about each and everyone of his patients and there needs

Dr. Mukunda is a very caring and understanding doctor. When my husband was hospitalized he came to see him took the time to explain things. He is a wonderful doctor.

I love Dr. Mukunda's office! I go to Kristy the nurse practitioner. They are really helpful and thorough. I am so pleased. The staff is always great.

This was my 1 st visit and This Dr. is the BEST.. and his nurse is VERY thorough ... He answered all my questions and he has given me the confidence that there are Dr.s out here that care .... I will recommend him to my family....

He is awesome I love him, 110% of my respect. He has helped me So much and has helped me find the Dr's I need, to come to a diagnosis. So what other dr's haven't been able to figure out in the last 16 yrs with Dr. Mukunda as the driving force I have a diagnosis which took 4 months. I have had two friends start seeing him they love him too. He is reapectful, listens, genualy cares and I dont know how but the man remembers everything which makes me feel more confident in all aspects of my care.

I would recommend Dr Mukunda to anyone ineed of a physician. Dr. Mukunda has been my physician for several years and treats me with respect and listens to me.
