Dr. Belmina Michael

She cancelled my first appointment the day of. On the rescheduled date, I had to wait 40 minutes in the exam room before she appeared. Wouldn't prescribe oral monoxidil for my hair loss since it's off-label, saying that she won't prescribe anything off-label. (Off-label prescriptions are really common in dermatology, and oral monoxidil is a popular and safe treatment for hair loss.) She's got a good bedside manner though, and her staff was pleasant to deal with.

Dr Michael is very pleasant. I've been going to her for at least a year and I continue to show improvements with my concerns. Thanks Dr Michael for being such a great dermatologist.

NOTHING BUT THE BEST. SHE HELPED ME MANY, MANY YEARS AGO WHEN FAMOUS DOCTORS FROM RES SAW ME 6 TIMES AND DID NOT KNOW WHAT MY ITCHY RASH WAS. WENT TO DR. MICHEAL AND SHE PRESCRIBED SOME CREAMS FOR ME AND WITHIN 2 DAYS I HAD RELIEF FROM AN UN-GODLY ITCHY RASH. I LOVE HER AND AM LOOKING HER UP NOW AS I NEED TO SEE HER AGAIN. YOU MIGHT HAVE TO WAIT A BIT BUT THIS YOUNG LADY IS AS SMART AS THEY COME, NO, MUCH BETTER!

Unfortunately I had to switch doctors due to insurance change. I am now actually trying to find a way to pay O.O.P. just so I can go back to Dr. Michael. She truly cares and does not gaslight you, she takes concerns seriously.

She is not educated in POC skintones at all but she is probably good if you have white/caucasian skin. Couldn’t do anything with my mom’s hyperpigmentation or even my acne on my dark skin tone

Terrible experience, would rate 0 if possible. Rude nurses, Dr seemed to be in a rush to get to the next one and appear to be speaking pre-made speech out of a pamphlet for the medications she happened to have thousands of samples of. Prescribed medication for conditions she did not mention I had, and also barely examined my skin since I was wearing a mask. Had to google up everything since I received 0 explanation about the medication. I was supposed to come back for a biopsy, wich I called to cancel days before due to horrible first visit, only to find out they already calcelled for me, because the Dr was on vacation, no notice at all I would have got an uber and travelled 1 hour to get this procedure, during the pandemic, for nothing. Bought Xeomin on a Groupon a couple years ago; and have been a repeat client w/ Dr Michael going forward. She takes the time with you and is so friendly and personable; she knows what she is doing when it comes to the forehead lines!! Wait may be a bit longer than you want, though you are receiving a personable treatment and these take time! highly recommend! clean professional environment and friendly staff. Communication poor. She talks to fast rushes through appointment. She prescribed a medication and did even discuss it with me. I received the medication and won't even use it. My insurance was probably billed 5000.00 for it! Go get a second opinion I did. I also went to a health food store. I got lots of info, changed my diet and I'm clearing up. Communication poor. She was awesome when she was in Crowley, La.. I miss her!

Horrible experience beware!!!!!! I went to have a skin cancer screening . Dr. looked at my moles/sun spots & said I needed about 20 removed. Where she cuts them out & the sews the hole up. Then I would have to come at least 3/4 visits for the cutting of them & then 3/4 for the stich removal & she only does surgery on Fridays. My gut instinct was to get a 2nd opinion. After dr examined me she said all is good then I told her about my last visit & couldn’t believe she wanted to remove 20 DONT GO!

An hour and a half wait, a brusque office person and a thorough yet not up to date biopsy and bandaging. Not impressed!

Awesome Dr.and staff. she was able to pin point exactly what was wrong with me by just looking at me and begin treatment.

I REALLY RECOMEND DR. MICHAEL , SHE IS AMAZING AND HAS GREAT KNOWLEDGE IN WHAT SHE DOES. SHE HELPED ME WITH MY SKIN PROBLEM AND I FELT VERY COMFORTABLE WITH HER AS SHE SHOW ALOT OF INTEREST IN HELPING ME . THANK YOU SO MUCH DR. MICHAEL I CAN SHOW OFF MY NEW SKIN NOW. ????????????????

Dr. Michael is a compassionate and talented dermatologist! She takes the time to listen to you and react to your concerns. She and her team work well together when performing procedures. Will definitely return again as needed.

I am very happy with the treatment that Dr. MICHAEL recommended for me . She was very attentive to my situation and was able to deliver results. She is amazing and all the staff as well. I recommend Dr. MICHAEL 100% . It was money well spent.

Waited 6 weeks for an appointment. Waited over an hour the day of my appointment. Dr. Michael looked at the lesion and ordered a biopsy. The earliest appt available (biopsys were only offered on Fridays) was in 2 months! I went back to my Dr. and asked for another referral. The new Dr. saw me in 2 weeks, did the biopsy immediately and had the results in a week. The cancer was diagnosed, biopsied and removed a month earlier that Dr. Michael would even biopsy. Run don't walk to a more competent Dr

I was referred by someone who raved about Dr. Michael. I was eager to see her, but the earliest appointment was nearly two months later. When the day finally came, I sat in the waiting room 45 minutes. She has an effervescent personality and apologized for my wait, but seemed oblivious that it was disrespectful of my time. My earliest second appointment was again nearly two months later. I waited nearly 90 minutes to see her. If we weren't in the diagnostic process, I would not return.

She helped my situation, but twice I got called the day before an appointment and they canceled. I had to change my schedule weeks in advance to do this appointment. Looking for someone new now, not going for strike three.

Dr. Michael relieved my extreme itchiness in 1 visit! I was going to another dermatologist since November of 2015, and all I got was scripts for different ointments and it was getting worse and worse. ONE visit with Dr Michael and the relief was unbelievable. She is the God of doctors in my book and if anyone is looking for a dermatologist, forget the rest and go to the best. She takes plenty of time with you and the most concerned doctor I have ever met. She truly cares about you. I LOVE HER
