I had emergency surgery with Dr. Strong on a Saturday after an ER visit Friday evening for a fracture hip. He explained everything in easy to understand terms. Surgery went well just had my one year check up and the x rays look great. No pain and I was given the ok to do whatever I wanted to do. He is on time with his appointments and pleasant to deal with

I was scheduled for check-in at 7:45 my appointment was 8 am, 1st appointment of the day. My Husband attended with me; asked staff at 8:15 when we would be seen they claimed they were contacting the Doctor. 8:30 Doctor still hadn't been in to see me, Husband asks staff again, they say he'll be right in. Shows up in the room at 8:40. Now, usually if a patient is late for their appointment the office makes us reschedule. My time is valuable too, I planned my work schedule around this appointment. If I have a scheduled appointment for 8 am, I am the 1st appointment of the day; I would expect the Doctor to be on time too!

Dr. Strong has a friendly, pleasant manner. He listened patiently and answered my questions thoroughly. He took care to explain my condition, my options, what the procedure would be as well as the follow-up and recovery. Entire staff was very friendly.

Was very nice seems like a good doctor

Dr Strong replaced my left hip 4/21/22. This review is after 6 weeks recovery. I found recovery very fast and am back doing everything I did before my hip joint disintegrated from arthritis. I'm very active and athletic. I'm 70. Dr Strong is highly skilled, communicates what the procedure will be like, what to expect, and preparations. I trust and highly recommend Dr. Benjamin Strong.

I am very impressed with Dr Strong. He was very focused on my knee problem and spent a significant amount of time assessing my injury, reviewing ex rays and MRI’s. His explanations and treatment plan were clear and concise. He made sure that all my questions were answered in a way that I could understand.I have no reservations in recommending Dr Strong for consult, treatment and surgery if deemed necessary.

Explained everything so I could understand it

Saw Dr. Strong to schedule hip replacement. He was very informative.

Dr Strong found the area of my hip that was causing my pain using an X-ray. He explained the options for someone my age, 68, and I am looking forward to having a hip replacement with him.

Dr Strong gave me a new right hip. The procedure went very well and my new hip is very smooth.

I received a new hip from Dr. Strong and it was remarkable. Home and moving around with a walker the day of surgery. Active in my work 12 days later. He is clear and concise.

The visit was cordial and appropriate tests were run. Dr. Strong was forthright in letting me know what the next steps were to alleviate my problem with my hip.

I am considering finding a different orthopedic doctor than Dr. Strong for these reasons: I recently waited an hour and ten minutes beyond my appointment time and once Dr. Strong got into the exam room, there was no apology or explanation for the wait. Second, Dr. Strong has never manipulated my knees. He has relied totally on the X-rays and while I appreciate his interpretation and explanations, I also think a doctor should conduct a hands-on exam. Dr. Strong also doesn't have the type of bedside manner that I appreciate in a physician. I don't think we're compatible as a doctor-patient team and that is why I will seek out another provider.

Excellent, well cared for and appreciated my quick recovery

I researched the backgrounds of several orthopedic surgeons before I selected Dr Strong. He lived up to all that I read. He was knowledgeable and able to evaluate me and identify damage of knee and recommend the knee replacement I desperately needed. By time I went for surgery I could no longer get up from a chair on my own. Dr Strong has a very calm demeanor in the office. He greeted me the same way when I was in the OR. Just before I went to sleep I heard him giving directions to OR staff arranging for the procedure. His tone was very different. I fell asleep very relaxed knowing he was in charge. He was very on top of my recovery and rehab back to full use of knee. He anticipated what I would encounter along the way back to full recovery. He managed my pain and physical therapy. He gave me time to recover before I started physical therapy. I am 68 and have returned to full time employment because of how well my knee replacement surgery turned out. Highly recommend Dr Strong.

My options were explained clearly and I was seen in a timely manner. COVID19 precautions were consistently followed.

I met Dr, Strong in May and he performed a total hip replacement in August. I have experienced almost no post-op pain and am feeling better than I have for 6 years. Dr. Strong provided a wealth of information and answered any/all questions. I am totally thrilled with the results of this surgery and his very good work!

I chose to see Dr. Strong for a persistant pain in my hip. I specifically asked for him as he was the first physician to correctly diagnose and treat my wife's back issue after 5 years of seeing therapists and other professionals. He reviewed the x-rays with me and provided a thorough explanation of my options for treatment and the pros and cons of each. I will be scheduling hip replacement surgery with him in the near future. As for my wife, 2 weeks after her initial visit she is pain free for the first time in 5 years.

Dr. Strong was a great listener, patiently wanting to know my concerns. He provided me with clear, concise descriptions of all aspects of the surgical and recovery process. He seems to be very well informed about his craft, cites current research studies and follows a well thought-out strategy about how to provide a safe outcome for his patients. I am very happy with my choice of Dr. Strong as my hip replacement surgeon.

Dr. Strong had me scheduled for an appointment within 2 weeks of my original diagnosis and in surgery within the month. He explained all he would be doing, answered our questions and put me completely at peace with what I had coming up.

Dr. Strong and his staff are amazing. I had my hip replaced and he did a spectacular job. He utilized holistic practices (vitamins) in addition to conventional surgery. I limped into the hospital and walked out a new man with no residual pain or issues. Dr. Strong and his staff gave me my life back. My wife says it the first time in years she has not seen me limp in pain. I am very thankful for Dr. Strong and his staff they did a spectacular job and I wish I had followed his recommendation and scheduled my hip replacement earlier. His post operative instructions were very direct and specific and worked very well in my recovery. I would give Dr. Strong and his staff my highest recommendation. Should I need any further surgeries he and his staff are definitely who I trust and will go to.

Dr. Benjamin strong gave me my life back. After seeing another orthopedic doctor who refused to do my surgery. Dr. Strong agreed to do the total knee replacement. I hardly walked I was in so much pain. My knee was a L-shaped for a long time. After the surgery and a few hard weeks of theraphy and hard work, I am again a productive part of our society. I go to zoo, walk around the park, ride a bike and many things I could not do. I would recommend him to anybody that need orthopedic help. He is a great Dr. very understanding and takes time to listen and share the best possible treatment. Thank you Dr. Strong.

I found the absolute best surgeon for my total hip replacement. Dr Strong is so friendly and easy to talk to. He takes his time going over the surgery details with you and everything that is involved after surgery for a successful outcome. He is topnotch in his field, another thing I loved about him is he is very humble! Maybe I’m not the norm but I could barley walk from my hip being bone on bone for over a year and I was walking totally pain free within two weeks!

Hip Surgery December 1, walked 2 miles a day with no assistance mid December. Now May 1 and everything great.

I'm glad we chose Dr. Strong for my total hip replacement surgery. I was back on my feet in a day. No more pain in hip, knee, or back! My family and I recommend him highly.

He took X-rays and suggested medicine to help me

I've reached a point, due to injuries and multiple arthroscopies on one of my knees, that I have had to stop participating in sports. As someone who has been athletically active and participated in sports my entire life, I'm hoping for a path back. This led me to meet with Dr. Strong to evaluate my knee for a potential TKA and discuss the potential for a return to sports afterward. I came prepared with a long list of questions ranging from the prosthetic and the procedure to install it, recovery and PT, timeline to return to (desk-based) work, and, of course, a path back to sports (tennis in my case). Dr. Strong patiently and thoroughly answered all of my questions providing me with both more confidence in the device's ability to improve my quality of life but also a sense of confidence I will be able to return to tennis doubles play. I have not yet decided when or who I will choose to perform the TKA, but I do recommend anyone considering this procedure consult with Dr. Strong 1st.

Dr. Strong replaced my left hip in November 2020. He was patient and extremely careful and technical in his explanations. I am delighted with the outcome and highly recommend Dr. Strong.
