Great Service

For Dr. Bernard Morris and Wellstone Health: These people have caused me considerable inconvenience and money (mileage, 80 mile round trip two times), and cost me time making my problems worse. I called the Monday after thanksgiving for an appointment. I was put off until January 5th. At 11:30 on the 5th I appeared for my appointment and was told that there was no doctor to see me. They claimed to have called me but there was no record of a missed call on my phone. They rescheduled me for the following Tuesday and gave me forms to fill out. I appeared on the 10th and gave the receptionist my insurance card to scan. I was admitted to an examination room where I was told my vitals would be taken. As soon as the nurse saw that was not a referral and that my insurance was Medicare medigap she terminated the exam and left the room. I realized I was probably in the wrong place. None the less, the doctor and his trainee appeared and there was a rapid fire exchange of information about my problem. I sensed from the doctor’s demeanor that he felt I was wasting his time. The examination was entirely oral and was concluded with the statement that there would be a cat scan done and that we would reconvene to continue. No call was ever made to inform me of a cat scan appointment. I called numerous times and only once was redirected to leave a voicemail, which I did expressing concern about no communication. My phone was never answered again and I assumed they had the ability to block my number since they clearly assumed I was not a candidate for their services. I waited for week for the cat scan appointment and then started seeking help elsewhere. It is clear to me that is a serious lack of professionalism and courtesy in this office and want nothing whatever to do with them and if provided with the opportunity to do so I will seek to influence others to avoid this Dr and his office as well as Wellstone and Seton. On none of the many locations on the web where I found Dr Bernard did it clearly state that patients would be accepted only by referral and that Medicare is not accepted. If any one at any time had stated this I would have simply disappeared. Instead I was lead to believe that good things would happen. First time in my life I have ever been treated so poorly by a doctor’s office. It may happen again but it will not happen there. I intend to be vocal. Look for bad reviews everywhere I am allowed to give one. I will share my opinion. Sincerely, Al Patton

Dr. Morris and his staff provided excellent patient care and service from the front desk, to the nurses, to the Doc, it was very smooth and helpful. They are very quick to communicate and thorough in treatment which was greatly appreciated!!!!

I went to the ER with kidney pain to find out I have a kidney stone. They referred me to Dr.Morris who put a stent in my kidney to get out the stone. I was told to call for a follow up appointment because when I was discharged he had already left. He didn’t prescribe me any pain medication and I’ve been in pain the whole time knowing he put a stent in through my urethra! I’ve called numerous of times to try and get a follow-up appointment and to get the stent out and can not get ANYONE on the phone! I love how when Dr Morris walked into clinic turned and asked how everyone was doing this morning in the waiting area. Very impressed. Victoria was the sweetest ever!!!!! Love everyone

Dr. Morris is am amazing doctor. Recently I messaged him on his cell he was prompt to call in a prescription that took care of my issue. I am so thankful for his care and thoughtfulness.

Dr. Morris is a very professional, competent surgeon and excellent Urologist. I have used him for the past 8 years and he has always provided excellent care for my Urology needs. I recommend him very highly to anyone who needs Urology care.

Hands down he is the BEST urologist in this area in my opinion! He is so caring, and actually cares about his patients and listens to your concerns and comes up with a plan to get you living your BEST life!! He performed a bladder sling for me because of urinary incontinence, I’ve had no problems since and other doctors that examine say who ever did your sling did a GREAT job! Doctor Morris is wonderful. In my experience and opinion, front office staff does not return calls until after your third or fourth call. Blame doctor for any miscommunicatios or scheduling errors. Frustrating to say the least.

I respect, appreciate, and recommend Dr.Morris. when I was told there was a huge mass on my.left kidney Dr. Morris wasted no time getting me taken care of. He told me not to worry he was going to "hit a home run" the first time and get it all. He did exactly that. He's an amazing doctor and has a huge heart.

Had to wait 2.5 weeks for an appoint. Then the doctor is well over an hour late to the appointment. The staff in the front had no what was going on and didn’t update anybody. I don’t know why Wellstone is always so disorganized.

Excellent doctor; from my answers he told me what was wrong. Answered all my questions, and explained the answers.

Dr. Morris has an excellent bedside manner and explains everything in plain and understandable language. He does quick and efficient work.

Dr. Morris and his staff are wonderful! If you suffer from incontinence, don't put off taking care of it! Go see Dr. Morris and get a new lease on life! =)

Dr. Morris has done a great job for me. He keeps me informed through out the whole procedures. His office staff is great. Their appointment reminders make sure I know when my next appointment is. The only problem I have is all the surveys. I get one after each visit.

Had a positive experience at DR Morris office after my operation. Nurses changed the catheter for me. It made me feel much more comfortable. Thx to the assistance!

Dr Morris, is very good at explaining the issues of the patient health situation. I have received the best care and treatment available for my health problems. I would recommend Dr. Morris, to anyone in need of a Urologist, he is very skilled and professional, and helps ease the stress involved in treating cancer patients.

The doctor was GREAT. he was very thorough, explained in detail what my sons issue was etc. i wish i could give HIM 5 stars. The billing girl on the other hand has no idea what she was doing. She told us that we needed to pay a co-pay though we have been referred there by my sons primary and my husband is active-duty. When I explained to her that we had a referral and there should be no co-pay she came back with that it is a new rule tricare is implementing. I called BS. I asked her if she received the referral and she said yes but that for now on specialists to have Copays. I refused to pay and left the office. I called tricare and my sons primary and they all informed me that there should be no co pay so my sons primary will be calling the office. I honestly think the office is just trying to con service members and their families out of money. But the doctor himself was exceptional! The person that handels his referrals is very rude, unprofessional and doesn't know what she is doing. Had my primary doctor send my referral several times, during an almost 5 week period, since she was kicking it back over and over again, saying I need a second referral from Tricare, which is not necessary. She even had the nerve to call another office in the same building which I had visited prior to let them know about my second Insurance (like they didn't know already) and someone from billing, to come talk to me, just to make me look dumb. Neatness to say I called my primary doctor and had them send my referral to another Doctor, were I was seen right away and know awaiting surgery. Dr. Bernard Morris and his his staff are the most professional medical team in the country . I Would recommend anyone needing male or female private medical services request his help. Recommended by CSM (ret) Richard C. Offord.
