Dr is the best! He is a caring physician of which there are very few.

The staff is very courteous and attentive. Dr. Upadhyay listens to your complaints and takes the time to educate me on the disease process.

Dr Upadahy actually cares about you. He will aggressively find the reason for your medical problem and then fix it. I am so thankful to have Sr Upadhyay as my Pulmonologist.

Very professional and understanding, he’s helped with my C-Pap and difficulties thus feeling more alert with more energy during my day. I would recommend him 100% for any pulmonary needs.

Wonderful doctor, best perhaps I've ever seen and I have seen plenty in my 68 years. He evaluated my CT scan overnight, after he ordered it taken in his office during my first visit. Not used to such fast and efficient medical service. Very professional, kind and knowledgeable doctor.

Having known Dr Upadhyay professionally for decades, when my personal health was a concern, he was my obvious choice. He has managed my pulmonary health with incredible success with an extremely caring and professional team. My visits are efficient, data driven and include a caring conversation with him personally. Questions are always answered. Communication with the office via text and portal keep me informed and reminded of visits. I could not be more pleased.

This doctor is a board certified pulmonologist who listened to my lung and breathing concerns then conveyed a competent caring concise understanding of my condition and explained the diagnostic plan to measure the extent of my medical condition. A patient wants to know what he has, how he contracted it, and if it can be cured or managed. In my case, the medical conditions are damaged lungs and sleep apnea.

All about the money. Could care less about the patient. Steer clear!

Liked the doctor and got a diagnosis.

Left with unanswered concerns and confusion even after 6 plus months of “treatments” and follow ups. Appointment canceled last minute so he could go on vacation. Over an hour of wait time anytime you need to call the heart and health institute. I do recommend getting a second opinion if this is your specialist, leaving was the best choice I’ve made. He is kind and a nice person but far too much isn’t acceptable for speciality care.

Dr. Upadhyay, his Nurse and all the office staff were wonderful. Dr. Upadhyay spent a lot of time with me and answered all my concerns. The office has Covid safety protocols and that made me feel safe. I was also seen on time.

I have chronic asthma and COPD and the doctor (he never check me he just accused me of having coronavirus told me I had to leave that I could be infecting people. Doctor was great, staff was very unprofessional. I drove an hour for a lung function test only to have them tell me it was cancelled because the machine was broken and they don't know when it'll be fixed. No phone call about cancellation and no rescheduling for the appointment because they don't know when the machine will be fixed.

We were looking for a Pulmonary Dr for my dad and Dr. Upadhyay was just what he needed. He is very professional and caring. Thank you for taking the time with us.

Dr Upadihay is one of the nicest and best doctors both my husband and I have ever had the pleasure of getting treatment from. We will miss him terribly. Probably spelled his name wrong but I am sure you know to whom I am referring.

I felt relaxed, initially he was the first doctor who chose to explain my condition to me in a way the average person could understand. It was satisfying and reassuring that the doctor took extra consideration for the care of his patients. This made a lasting impression on me. Very thorough examination -kind- professional-patient

The appointment was fine. However, the waiting room to check out was crowded with no spacing for social distancing. Very disappointed.

Dr Upadhyay is very nice. He speaks clearly and loud enough for me to hear him. He also listens to my questions and answers straightforwardly. Offices are clean and I never have to wait more than a few minutes.

During the uncertainty of the corona virus, it was reassuring to find the safety precautions being taken by staff in the lobby. The reception area on the second floor was clean and staff was following safety measures wearing masks and directing people while maintaining a distance. I was seen promptly and the medical tech was courteous and efficient, as always. Dr. Upadhyay has been my physician for almost ten years and I highly recommend him because of his attention to my physical well being and his ability to listen. Explanations are always clear and if tests are needed there is an explanation given for the need.

Dr. Bharat Upadhyay is my number one go to Doctor where the health of my lungs are concerned. He is extremely personable and I always look forward to my visits with him.

Dr. Upadhyay has been very informative and patient with my questions. Establishing care with him during COVID-19 has been painless and stress free. His staff is very customer serviceable and pleasant.

I made an appointment with Dr. Upadhyay, due to a pulmonary embolism. He is a really good doctor. He was very attentive and understanding, explained everything to me very well, and always asked if I had any question. I am so glad I found him. I strongly recomended him to other people.

I’ve been seeing Dr Upadhyay for several years and would never go to any other..he is a great listener..and always takes his time never hurry’s through my appointment as some other drs do...I would and have recommended him to others.

I am amazed that I don’t have to wait for very long for my turn with the Doc. So many Drs. you have to sit and wait for sometimes an hour or more! Not this Doc! He is thorough and takes the time to explain to you so you understand. I don’t feel rushed which is a big plus to me. He’s just an all around “nice guy”. Definitely would recommend.

Finding Dr. Upadhyay a number of years ago was wonderful. He is always very attentive and thorough. His vast knowledge base is so helpful to someone with multiple problems. When hospitalized, he would find the time to visit daily to see what was happening and give me some of his own thoughts about my concerns. Plus, at his office I've rarely had to wait more than a few minutes. YAY.

Dr Upadhyay is very good and I feel he is much better than the doctor I was seeing before him. He treated my COPD and lung cancer with the best results. Only complaint is the office has you on hold too long before you get connected. I guess not enough help.

I went to see Dr. Upadhyay as I did not feel my other doctors were addressing the issues I was having. Dr. Upadhyay listened and came back with a possible diagnosis that makes perfect sense. Tests are scheduled so he can confirm and begin appropriate treatment.

Only saw him once but made me feel comfortable and listened to everything I had to say. Was very knowledgeable about what I was saying and had a lot of ideas of how to take care of me and my problems. He was a take charge kind of doctor. Ordered tests and got hold of companies to fix my equipment. Seems like a doctor who really cares.

Dr Upadhyady is a fantastic doctor. He is knowledgeable, professional and at the same time a caring friendly doctor. He is a family doctor of yesteryear with all the modern knowledge & tools of today! His staff is a reflection of him. I can’t stop recommending him to all

Saw him a week after my hospital stay with pneumonia. He is very friendly and down to earth. He explained everything in great detail, even using a chart to show me how I got pneumonia through acid reflux. He showed me my CT scan and took the time to explain it in detail. My wife asked him why he wasn’t wearing shoes, just socks. It’s more comfortable he said with a smile. This is the kind of dr he is, caring, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Also Waiting time to see him was short.

I have being treated by Dr Upadhyay for a few years now & he is the best! The wait in waiting room never long. He listens & shows that he cares. I was suffering from AFIB & was being seen by another Dr who kept me taking medication for about 4 years & even told me that I had no cure & will have to keep taking medications forever. I was referred to Dr Upadhyay by a friend nine years ago & he immediatelly sent me for all tests needed, confirmed my illness, & took care of my problem. Outstanding! I am exceptionally picky about my health care providers. This doctor has an outstanding calm bed side manner. He has outstanding knowledge in pulmonary disease. Oh, this was my first visit too! What a great doctor. First impressions count. I was very impressed!

A true professional and a gentleman who even though I only see for a few moments our conversations are memorable.

Dr. Upadhyay is very helpful with my health issues...he takes the time to explain everything and really has no idea why I have shortness of breath...breathing test & CAT scan were normal. We are going to follow up in NJ at Deborah Heart & Lung Hospital !!!!! Thank you for very so caring !!!!
