Dr. Bhavini S Chandarana

I was referred to Dr. Chandarana by the clinical team working with me as an adjunct to my cancer treatment. The office was pleasant in a wonderful location (Colts Neck, NJ). I have been to many pain management physicians over the years, so I am familiar as to what to look for. Dr. Chandarana was charming, pleasant, knowledgeable, and willing to listen to my issues. Originally, the referral was for a treatment physician who was licensed to prescribe medical marijuana. I was so pleased with the care, kindness, and patience I requested to move my treatment to her office on a full-time basis (I have long history of both back, neck, (surgery x2), arthritis as well as other physiological concerns. I would highly recommend and endorse her as a pain management physician.

I've been a patient of Dr. Chandarana's for approximately 1 year and she has helped me tremendously. I was in daily pain due to disc degeneration and I owe so much to her for helping me manage my pain. Her evaluation was thorough and treatment included physical therapy, pain medications and the occasional use of medical marijuana. We meet on a monthly basis to discuss my journey & challenges. Dr. Chandarana is a very caring doctor who listens to my needs and questions and has never rushed me in my appointments. I highly recommend Dr. Chandarana as she has changed my life and was instrumental in helping me gain back my physically active lifestyle through her expertise in pain management.

Dr. Chandarana is strict but very thorough. When you are in pain, she makse the patient feel at ease by taking your mind off the pain. She is a hardworking family woman. I would recommend her to family and friend. With me being a veteran, I am used to rules and regulations. She follows the rules and regulations. I am a strict person, and I wouldn't make any positive recommendations for anyone because I been through a lot in my life and I have seen a lot in life. I am really funny about giving recommendations to just anybody.

Dr. Chandarana leaves much to be desired! My initial visit with her was unsatisfactory. Her greeting was rude, unprofessional, and her overall demeanor lacked warmth and graciousness. She never discussed the extent of all my injuries. Our discussions and her clinical explanations were brief and never fully disclosed or understood. She was always in a rush and consistently made that clear to me! I found her to be entirely unprofessional! I also found her office practices to be outdated as she was unwilling to offer credit cards as a payment option. I do not recommend her!

Dr Chandarana has been handling my extensive pain from "bone-on-bone" navicular cuneiform joint in my left foot prior to fusion surgery, and my torn rotator cuffs, all of which were sustained on aug 17, 2018, when I was hit by an suv cab approaching HSS for this very surgery I am getting today. She injected my shoulders with cortisone in a painless manner, and helped me get approved for medical marijuana for my pain (10 on a scale of 1-10). She is friendly, professional, and an excellent MD

I am completely satisfied with Dr. Chandarana. I have been seeing her for several months and find she is very caring and takes time with you. She answers all your questions and has helped me in several areas. She has a very warm personality and makes you feel at ease.

Dr. Chandarana took the time to listen to me. She found out what was actually causing my pain and gave me different options to treat it. She helped me when others hadn't. You should definitely go see her.
