Dr. Nakkai saved my life and continues to save me every depressive episode.

Love Dr.Nakai and his staff. He is very attentive to the needs of my son and I. Mod is also great and my son has gotten comfortable with her too.

Literally saved my daughter's life. Years of misdiagnoses and incorrect medications as well as admitted into hospital's with episodes. He has kept her stable for over a year now on the right medication with a correct diagnoses. He is kind, sincere, trusting and truly listens & cares as well as helped her get on track with meds. He is continuing to help her get back to a new normal life she wants so desperately, like she had before the episode's. This also includes the incredible help of the therapist Dr. Ken she sees as well, she finally sees some light in her mental health issues of years. Not enough Thank You's in the world to say. Dr.Nakai is the absolute best! I finally found a doctor that will listen to me and my opinion AND it really matters. Its not like it goes in one ear and out the other. Hes seemed to care about my well-being since day one.

Dr. Nakai is very patient with me. He has an answer for all my questions (which are many). I have suffered with severe depression and anxiety all my life and have had a void in my heart wondering who my biological parents were. I never met them or even seen pictures of them. I was blessed to be placed with a wonderful American family, they were missionaries in Brazil, where I was born. Thank you Dr. Nakai for listening to me and helping me figure out what i've been feeling all my life. Your staff is awesome, they never make me feel as if I'm bothering them or that i'm asking ridiculous questions. God bless you all . I am so ready to deal with these feelings of abandonment with your help Dr. Nakai.

He’s ok. I’ve been to many psychs over the years so I know what meds work for me and he was willing to prescribe what I needed. However I think if you are new to psych he wouldn’t be a good dr. to start with.

He’s okay. Talks a lot when I honestly just wanna go in and out. Seems to care about younger patients which is cool though even if we aren’t the best match. I get my meds and that’s what really matters to me

He is very detailed. You may have a long wait but for me its worth it.

I have Been with Dr. Nakai since 2011. His office is packed for a reason! He is GREAT!! He is the only Dr my daughter would Ever deal with. And we all trust him very much. He cAn be like a life coach at times and has a wealth of knowledge to give. Love him! Won’t change!

If I could read him a negative 10 I would hes tried to kill me twice on give any medications to see if it would help me instead of leaving me on the regiment my original psychiatry sthat for me who by the way had moved to a different state. And now recently Has decided that the government knows more about how I feel then I do so he has cut my medication because Big Brother said so his words. He is very rude and does not do what is best for the patient instead lets the government tell him what to do. Very happy love Dr Nakai. Anyone bitching about the wait time is because he is an excellent Dr, and everyone wants a piece of him. It's worth the wait, put the internet on your phone and give the man a break.

Very unwelcoming, unprofessional, and rude. Answers cellphone at EVERY appointment. Does not listen, constantly interrupts, and does not seem to care about patient. After months of attending appointments with Dr. Nakai, I was left feeling like he didn't care to really listen to what I had to say. He was not willing to listen to me for more than 10 minutes tops and every appointment was very rushed. This man is rude, stubborn, and arrogant. He doesn't take into consideration how his patients feel and how medication side effects are affecting them. I did my research on medications but he wouldn't work with me to find something that worked for me.
