This review may be skewed, as I’m a physician myself. She was my parent’s geriatric psychiatrist for some time. I do not recommend her. At all. She was completely hands off; as a physician caring for a sick relative, I was extremely disappointed at Dr. Austria’s lack of concern/involvement in his care as he clinically worsened. We’ve since transitioned care and are much more satisfied. For a straightforward case, she might be okay. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
