It was my first visit and first time getting that procedure.. personnel was great..friendly and professional from the MA, CNA,Nurse, anesthesiologist and of course Dr John.. the whole visit was pleasant, smooth.. no complaints at all.. excellent service !!!

I went to Dr. John for a colonoscopy procedure. He was very professional and walked me through the entire process before it even began. His staff was excellent as well. They all did an amazing job putting me at ease. I would highly recommend Dr. John.

I’ve been with Doctors John Bijo for years. I’ve been fighting pretty severe IBD for years and he has stayed on top of my intestinal health ever since. My family and I recommend Dr. John or and of Texas digestive disease consultant doctor for intestinal diagnosis and treatment .

I first met Dr. John at the hospital. And I felt very at ease with him. He takes his time and listens and he explains things so you can understand it. I had an appt for a colonoscopy but I cancelled it use Cologuard instead. That test was positive so my primary told me to reschedule colonoscopy. I called the office and said I needed to make an appt and she said I already had an appt, and I cancelled it. I told her yes, I cancelled so I could use Cologuard instead. She said if you did the Cologuard, then I don’t need a colonoscopy. I told her yes I do because it was positive. She kept arguing with me saying I didn’t need it. I asked if she would just book it and she said the first available would be the end of December, 4 months away. I asked if I could speak with someone else, and she said no, so I went to my primary’s office and they had to straightened it out & I had the test. The doctor said call & book an appt in 2 weeks. I called for 3 days, no one answered the phone -no voicemail either. Finally got through but no appt for 5 weeks. I want a doctor who cares about his patient’s care and has a competent, trained staff.

Very short wait. The Dr. Came in right away and took care of business. He is very professional & assertive. High recommendations.

I was in and out in no time at all. The dr and nurses were so caring and awesome. This is the place I will go to from now on. They made my experience so pleasant!

I first met Dr. John in 2015 when I was having serious issues that turned out to be cancer. He was the first to take me seriously, take a biopsy, and refer me to two other phenomenal specialists, so I credit him with saving my life. Five years later, I check in with him at least once a year whether it feels like I need it or not, and I have never been disappointed. He is always attentive, caring, and professional. Thank you so much, Dr. John, for being an amazing gastroenterologist. I will continue to refer others to you so you can help them the way you helped me!!

Dr John is an amazing doctor ...very professional. My colonoscopy was schedule late in the day, he saved me from starving and asked me to come early in the morning. Procedure was painless. No complication after the procedure. He followed me few times over the week to make sure I am doing OK. He got amazing staff... very knowledgeable and courteous.

Dr. John was very personable, asked great questions, and was honest about his concerns given my family history. He scheduled procedures right away, was professional prompt and efficient!

I am a new patient to Dr John therefore my review is based from an I tial visit and follow-up appointment. Thus far, he has been very professional and personable. He did not "hurry" thru my appointment. He took the time to explain and encourage me to maintain preventative measures for my condition as well as preventative exams i.e. Mammogram, colonoscopy, etc. I would recommend Dr John to family and friends for care.

Dr. John is such a thorough doctor. He cross references with my other docs. I always feel in good, safe hands with Dr. John. His staff is friendly and always willing to help. I would recommend Dr. John to anyone who wants a caring doctor.

On my visit with Dr Bijo John I was quite impressed with his knowledge in the subject, professional attitude along with his personal touch and walked me through the different steps and results line by line thoroughly and was patient to answer my questions which might have been repetitive. His office environment and staff were very professional which made me refer him to friends. He is young but in my opinion he is one of the best we can find in San Antonio.

Excellent experience with Dr.Kythaparampil very clean facility with great staff that made sure all my questions were answered and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and prepared for my procedure. I couldn't have asked for a better experience better doctor or better nurses and staff.

Colonoscopies are never actually fun. But if you have to have one, and you are in the vicinity of San Antonio, I recommend Dr. John and his team. I have had a few of these procedures as a recovered colon cancer patient, and can tell you Dr. John and team stand tall in my experience. His crew was timely, pleasant, gracious, and professional. Maybe most importantly, the procedure was without any unpleasantness whatsoever.

Dr. John is through and thoughtful in dealing with his patients. He cares about my whole system and has been very professional. I trust his ability and he has an excellent bedside manner. I highly recommend anyone any age to see him.

Had a hemorrhoid banding done by Dr. John and was expecting a lot of pain but only had an uncomfortable feeling for several days. After one week I was back to normal. The compound that he prescribes can be bought at several pharmacies but will cost more than if you go to the recommended pharmacy on the south side. This pharmacy will save you quite a bit. I would highly recommend Dr. John, who listens to his patients and explains everything thoroughly.

Dr. John listened to me and what I preferred. He gave me intelligent, rational options on taking further action. I am thoroughly happy to have Dr. John as my gastroenterologist. I will recommend him to everyone who needs a gastroenterologist. No doubt, 5 stars all the way!

I had to go through 2 appointments to get my procedure with doctor john. I also feel my whole procedure could have been avoided if i was diagnosed correctly the first time. Even after the 2nd visit my main problem was totally overlooked. I feel if you are seeing a specialist then that person should be very thorough. Also the compound medication that they prescribed was also a pain to find since there are only 2 pharmacies who make it.

Dr. John is an outstanding physician. He took the time to listen to me. He provided a detailed explanation of my treatment plan and answered all my questions. I was confident and comfortable in his care.

Excellent and thorough doctor. I was easily able to schedule a colonoscopy for a chronic issue that I was having. The procedure was fast and painless. One of the few doctors I feel who follows up and is genuinely concerned. Didn't feel rushed and he answered all my questions.

He is one of the very few who actually trained in liver transplant. Finally someone was able to take care of my husband despite being rejected by some other doctors who were overwhelmed by his medications. I highly recommend this doctor if you want to see someone who knows what they are doing.

Dr. John ordered a CT Scan and performed a colonoscopy and glendoscopy. He biopsied tissue from both procedures. He never provided me with the results, either through a phone call or through the online patient portal. He never told me if I had a follow up appointment or when I would need another procedure.
