I'm on my way to Ohio due to my brother having brain surgery. I buried my younger brother last Thanksgiving. Dr. Haney is the best and takes time with his patients. I would trust NO OTHER DR. for an epidural. He also has the BEST OFFICE STAFF, the most helpful and they respect you as a patient. ALL are GREAT

I have been going to Dr. Haney for almost two years, he has been a life saver to me. I now find he has left the offices of his previous location and they want to offer me a new provider which I do not want. I have built a trust with Dr. Haney and he has been a major reason I am still walking on my own with my back problems. The new office personnel at the place he was a provider for on Springhurst Blvd. will give me no information as to his current whereabouts or phone number. I had an appointment with him for early October and they called me to cancel it and make a new one with a new choice of provider. I told them I want Dr. Haney and cancelled myself as a patient. I wish to find out where his office if now located.

I have been a patient of Dr Haney's for about 6 yrs. When I first started going, they scheduled my first procedure the first visit. They also increased my pain medication from 5 mg hydrocodone to 7.5 4 times/day, as needed. The day of my first procedure, they increased my pain med again to 10 mg/4 times per day, as needed. I got regular procedures, and my pain med was never decreased. I am not, and have never been an addict to anything. After they made their latest transition, most of the regular staff were all gone. I began going back there almost a year ago, when I moved back to KY. Now, they won't give me any more than 15 mg per day of my pain meds, knowing full well that because of the higher doses I took in the past, I DO have a tolerance to it. Because of all of the addicts out there, I know the FDA is cracking down on how much they prescribe. I am NOT one of those who abuses it in any way, but yet my pain is being under treated now because of THEM!! I have already had the required short term injections. My last visit, I was told that I had to do 12 visits with a chiropractor or a physical therapist BEFORE they could do the long term injection. At my last visit 2 months ago, when I was told this, I asked if they could increase my pain meds JUST long enough until I can do the Chiropractor and get the long term injection, and the NP said no. On rainy days or cold days, even with the pain meds I am currently taking, I can barely move. I have arthritis and degenerative disc disease in my lower spine, and fibromyalgia in my hips and legs. I have had this for at least 16 years now. I have never failed a piss test, and never missed an appointment. I feel like I am being punished because other people abuse this stuff. It isn't fair to the ones who DON'T abuse it!!! On top of that, I have incredibly high blood pressure, and the increased pain only makes that worse too! The 5 mg hydrocodone does NOT last 8 freaking hours. I am lucky if it lasts 3 hours. And, I can't take ANY OTC pain relievers, especially NSAIDS, because of my kidneys. IMO, if you are a patient who has NEVER failed a piss test, never skipped an appointment, and never refused a pull count, then they SHOULD NOT be allowed to under-rated your pain!!! I love Dr Haney, but only see him for procedures. I go every other month now, and only see the NP then. Before their "Big Renovation", they had an in house pharmacy so you could get your meds filled before you left. I am just almost disgusted with their New Treatment Guidelines. What an amazing experience! Dr Haney took me from not walking at all to walking out my front door in 6 months. His office staff are always wanting to help to make sure you get what you need! As long as you follow his plan of action you will get better! I am so lucky to have found him

Twice I have had my appointment cancelled without being notified. This was after taking off work to be there! not sure why I tried to go this last time since dr. Haney won't listen to me anyway ( and by the way I do not want or get pain medicine)

Never call anybody back and nobody answers phone when you call. Don’t know what’s going on here

This place does not answer the phones! For 2 weeks, they do not return calls or answer! What a disgusting way to treat a patient!!!

I have been a patient for about 3 years now , they used to be amazing, now there are no NP left or any of the original staff , they don’t answer their phones anymore or return calls and that’s if you can even leave a message at all , 2 months ago Dr Haney said he would repeat a procedure that has helped me in the past but it’s never been scheduled, I stopped in last week and was told they are waiting on insurance approval , so I left and called my insurance, well that was a lie because they have had approved for almost a month, today I called my general practitioner and she’s now referring me to another group and now Dr Haney Is seeing patients as well as doing procedures, his bedside manner is truly lacking, plus he’s changed my medication to a lower dose with a failed back surgery and my surgeon said I qualified for a pain pump , he said if I needed more medication to find a new doctor, well you don’t need to tell me twice I have been a patient for about 3 years now , they used to be amazing, now there are no NP left or any of the original staff , they don’t answer their phones anymore or return calls and that’s if you can even leave a message at all , 2 … More

Was at once a great Dr. & Facility fired Office help, Nurse Practioners quit, lowered people's Medicine, Never answered phone's or return calls, something had to happen it was just unmoral the way things went down,I was there for 2 years it was great.I left found a great pain management. James Fox you are correct they NEVER answer any phone # you call...they have called me back in a suitable time frame but ANSWER THE PHONE! Don't know about the service as I haven't been yet.

IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH! This office does not answer the phones. Dr. Haney is great otherwise. He is very thorough and compassionate and well worth the wait to get in, but if you are going to be late or need to reschedule an appointment, you should just go into the office because they will not answer the phones or call you back within a reasonable time frame (in my experience). Dr. Haney and his staff were very helpful. They recently have decided to just do the intervention aspect of care and will not be doing long term pain management. In the last few months they have undergone a mass exodus of all staff. They always had a high turn over in nurse practitioners but not office staff. However they now have staff that I've never seen before and all the regular staff is no longer there. Prior to this they answered the phones and returned calls. I do not know what the office will be like once they make the transition. I do hope Dr Haney can get back to the quality of office staff he previously employed. When someone goes to a pain doctor, they aren't always feeling their best, which is usually the case with me. When I come to Dr. Haney's office it's always a pleasant experience. The staff is always super friendly, and Dr Haney always tries to find the best way to help. He does his best to explain what's going on with your body and what options there may be to help fix it or make it more tolerable. I appreciate the office, staff, and Dr. Haney for all the work they do! Keep it up!

I had really bad experiences with 2 pain specialists before I moved to Louisville. Their office staff was always incredibly rude. Dr. Haney's staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Haney was also very friendly and understanding about my previous experiences. I couldn't do injections anymore because of pain level, but Dr. Haney does them with sedation so that, if I feel it, I don't remember anyway. I see the nurse practitioners now for follow ups, but they are very knowledgeable too

I have met Dr. Haney 1 time. I always consult with the practitioner. She is very nice and knowledgeable. Actually people, i could care less about who i see. Im there for pain issues not pills (narcs). I have a high pain tolerance. I want them to fix my pain not mask it. They are trying hard to do just that. I think people need to be mindful of what some reviewers are saying. A lot of it sounds like people who are looking to mask instead of fix. Keep up the good work.

There are plenty of doctors who can just prescribe pain meds... dr Haney is a cut above. I felt like he really understands "pain" and what to do about it. Really nice new facility a plus. Recommend for anyone with back pain seeking The Best care.

Love Dr Haney and his staff they are awesome! Very caring, understanding and patient with you and your fears.. Dr Haney explains the procedures well and always call the next day to see how you are feeling!

My experience could not have gone any easier. The staff and Dr treated me with respect and made me feel at ease. I'm very happy that I've finally found a great pain specialist. (Don Griffith)

First, you never see the actual dr. You only ever see the nurse. Next the force you to do a urine test for no reason. Then you are charged $215 for the test. Next they try to force injections on you. They don't seem to do any pain management without injections. They also force you to go to a shrink before they give you any meds, basically treating you like a drug addict. And lastly they want you to take sone vstat test which seems to be heart related and not related to pain management.

Dr. Haney has performed procedures on my cervical nerves. The procedures on the right side of my neck were completed on 9/21/16. I am completely free of pain on that side for the first time in a year. I have received the first diagnostic procedure on the nerve on the left side of my neck. I have not had any side effects for any procedure. If I had an emoticon to express my joy with this treatment I would certainly use it. 5 stars is hardly adequate.

Never even met Dr. Hainey. I agree with the others his money making is by doing unecessary epidural injections. The practice is run by a nurse practitioner Cynthia Travis who is rude and unsympathetic. She makes all decisions and Dr. Hainey just does what she suggest. I found a very caring pain management doctor that explained things and got me on the right medication. As a professional myself I have never met a more rude nurse than Cynthia. She gives nurses a bad name.

Very rude,as well as his staff,does unnecessary testing and makes you get shots in your back even if it dosent help,aparently thats where the money is at. He dosent even see his patients he passes them to practitioners and just signs there prescriptions for them.the heard you in like sheep and dont take time with you at all. Patients beware.

Overall best in Louisville! Could not ask for a more pleasant, courteous & knowledgeable staff as well as Dr. Haney. Very short wait (waiting room & exam, as well as injections) & easy to schedule appointments. Makes you feel comfortable instead of having to defend why you need medication/injections, unlike most other PM doctor's/clinics. HIGHLY recommend!

Dr. Haney was the FIRST doctor who looked into what was really wrong with me. I'm not treated like anything other that someone who wants and enjoys helping. Hands down, the most amazing Doctor I have met and been treated by. He genuinely loves his job and patients, I'm 26 and he treats me like any other person. He cares about your life and the outcome of every act he inflicts. His staff calls back within ten minutes every single time.

i am treated with respect and dignity finally! i see his nurse practitioner and simply love her , she takes my concerns seriously and seeks solutions and doesn't treat me like a drug seeker just a person seeking relief. she has lots of solutions and things to try. but isn't afraid to medicate to relieve symptoms when needed either. she knows my concerns are valid and treats them with the care and compassion i've needed for so very long, i can't be more grateful.

Dr Haney has been the most helpful doctor I have been to dealings with back issues for twenty four years.Don't know what I would do without his help now.I have complete trust in Dr HANEY and his staff.

Dr. Haney is a physician that not only treats you, but educates you as well. I have had pain for years but I've learned more from him and his staff in several short visits than I have in years. Professional and yet it feels like you are visiting family when I go. Love this group!

I visited Dr. Haney for a spinal injection for severe back pain. He and his staff were very knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Haney made me feel at ease and was very receptive to my questions and needs.. He is one of the most caring and informative doctors I have visited in many years. I have scheduled a second procedure with him for the future, and know that I will be treated in a dignified and professional manner by Dr. Haney and his staff. Ron Cousins
