I have known Bonnie for many years. She is a true professional and a very compassionate doctor. You’d be crazy not to have her as your doctor.

They were helpful and got me exactly what I wanted,it was quick and easy and I had my new prescription Oakleys really quick.

How do we have an appointment this morning that had to be booked a month out and now your closed ? Not even a phone call nothing

Doctor was great I don't know why they are closed, maybe she is bonding with her new baby? She is worth the wait rather than search for a new doctor.

This place just closed - left all their patients - no response to calls or emails - took money and never delivered products - someone please investigate this place - don't ever go to them - this place does not care for their patients - only money.

When I moved here in '17, I went there for the first time. All was good. Now, I can't get in touch with them to get my prescription. They've been closed for over a month! Wrong script! Got new glasses elsewhere based on new script and it was completely off! Now I can’t even reach anyone because they are closed until further notice!!! ?? Staff at front desk was rude snd rushed me! She might have even been the reason that my script was wrong!!

Took them 4 months to give me my glasses and then had them mailed to me because I moved and when I received them they were all scratched up and frames are too wide for my face! Not happy at all!

To high on prices for not even name brand eye glasses I would never recommend anyone to go there! There and absolute rip off! Eye style optical is the place to go they have all kinds of frames for much better pricing.!

If I could give zero stars I would. Any practice in the mist of a pandemic that doesn’t wear masks is not for us. They will be reported to our insurance company. What a disgrace. Walked into waiting area and observed staff and doc as well as a full waiting area with NO masks insight, appointment was cancelled immediately and left.

STAY AWAY from this place. They will LIE to you on your face. I spent almost 3 hours in an appointment there to get a new prescription for eye glasses. After finally getting that done, I paid out of pocket for them. I waited almost a month to get the glasses. They would never have an answer for me on the times that they actually picked up the phone. After basically telling them that I needed a refund, they called me back the same day to say that FedEx had lost the frame and it never got to the labs who was supposed to install the glasses. All this time, the person handling this matter said there was absolutely no way to track the order. So you are telling me the on the last day when I was able to handle this and basically requested a full refund, you were able to get the tracking number? Lies, lies and more lies....The person lying this whole time is Heather and her manager's name is Stephanie. After speaking to the manager, she said she would have given the same answer on how much time things take based on an average. All I was asking was accurate and detailed information for MY case, MY glasses.... not everyone else's idea or opinion based on other scenarios.it takes a little bit of time and effort to help a customer. Friendly staff and very helpful!

My granddaughter Kaylee Briggs has been going here for years. Staff and Doctor is nice. And we love Shelia !

They are always courteous and the doctor never makes we wait long. I'd say it, if this place weren't up to par but I'm satisfied with the level of care from this facility.

Dr. Chalker and crew are awesome! My one stop shop for all my eye care needs, and I wear both glasses and contacts. The best around

Sadly, the receptionist at Dr. Chalker’s office is exceptionally unfriendly and downright rude, snappy, irritable and unwilling to help. Dr. Chalker would do well to replace her.

Called to schedule appointment Nila I think she said her name was very rude. I gave her my number to my health insurance and she wasn’t locating it told me for me to call my health insurance. It wasn’t that she told me to do that it was the tone in her voice. I been using same card in every other doctors i go to I never have a problem. Just her attitude made me not even keep trying. Doctor didn't introduce herself and she smelled very strong of cigarettes. I have a smoke allergy so this was very difficult. Facility was dark and very smelly and dirty. The floors were covered in black filth and the equipment needs wiped down. The chairs are peeling apart and the stuffing is coming out. The eye doctor left me with an office staff member to show me how to put contacts in for the first time. She didn't even ask me to wash my hands first and couldn't help me figure it out. It was hurting so much so I left. The doctor never visited with me to help or see what was wrong. When I left, the receptionist was making funny faces at me and it made me feel worse. I used their services two years ago and I wasn't very happy as I was clearly pushed to buy another pair of glasses I did not really needed. Two weeks ago, I called however to schedule an appointment, and I was startled by the rudeness of the person answering. As it seems to have happened to other patients, I was told they could not locate me on file and that I must call my health insurance. It took forever to get the appointment, then, when I tried to change the date, it became obvious they couldn't care less about their clients' needs. I just gave up. Great first experience! Fast, friendly and professional staff. I like the service at Family Eye Care much better than Tomoka eye, this will be where I go from now on for my annual eye exams.

Very efficient service with a smile .The staff are very professional. Dr Bonnie was excellent at her job she reexamined me until she got the most suitable data. She explained everything clearly and was very friendly. The prices for the glasses are very affordable.I would recommend them to anyone. Love you guys ❤

Love Dr. Chalker been going to her since 2010 when she was at total vision. No complaints, she's one of the best doctors I had. Love her staff there very sweet and know what they are doing. Will keep going to Dr. Chalker till she decides to retire :)

2/19/15 Dr Chalker examined my eyes (only reason I went was I have nevus in one eye) and gave me a new prescription for glasses. Sales people there were upset and snotty that I didn't want to buy glasses there. Had glasses made at Target (two total pair of glasses for price of one frame at Dr. Chalker's). Got the new glasses from Target and could not wear the new up-close glasses. If I looked up from reading or stood up I had prism effect around outside and would almost make me sick to my stomach. I went back to Target five times with them trying to figure out what was wrong. They finally called Dr Chalker's office and told them the prescription needed to be checked. Went back to Dr Chalker's and she DID NOT EVEN RE-EXAM MY EYES, just had me put on try-on glasses and they changed to a completely different prescription. Then they tried to tell me that it was Target's fault. Finally wrote off visit to her office as total loss and paid for new eye exam at Target. Completely different prescription from either prescription from Dr Chalker's. She could not even admit that she may have made a mistake and re-exam my eyes.
