Dr. Bradley Stephen Greenbaum

The first doctor I went to was apart of the SCOS orthopedic company. They told me I had a meniscus tear and would not tell me where my tear was and what degree tear I had. They kept pushing for surgery. I decided to get a second opinion with Dr. Greenbaum and he told me the truth about my knee and meniscus tear. He said that surgery is unnecessary since the degree of the tear is very small and my knee doesn’t have pain. He said that surgery would actually increase the chance of the tear becoming significant. Dr. Greenbaum is great! He is very honest and you don’t have to wait long to make an appointment. The waiting time is also very short when you get there. Thank you Dr. Greenbaum for preventing me from an unnecessary operation!!

Dr Greenbaum's office is one of the only doctors offices nowadays that you can schedule an appointment and see the doctor within a week! Another plus is the wait time to see him is virtually non existent. You're pulled back to one of his exam rooms minutes after checking in with the front office staff; that are very kind by the way. You sit in the room for a minute or 2 and the doctor comes in and is extremely thorough. He doesn't rush the visit, nor does he make you feel small by using medical terminology you've never heard of. He explains everything in entirety and answers any silly questions you may have. You truly feel heard with this surgeon. You won't regret skipping one of those big groups that see their patients as $$, this doctor actually cares. I found Dr. Greenbaum to be very thorough and I didn't feel like I was being pushed through a patient factory like many of the larger ortho groups in the area. He took lots of time to explain things to me and review x rays on which he saw something two previous orthos missed. I found his front office staff to be excellent as well and I highly recommend him! EDIT - It's nearly 3 years later. Dr. Greenbaum helped rule out my knees as the problem, and with this critical data point I was able to determine, along with other surgeons, that it was my hips causing unusual referred (but not radiating) pain in my knees. After bi-lateral hip resurfacings the knee pain is gone. Dr. Greenbaum did not do my hip surgery but he was one of the last critical links of a decade-plus differential diagnosis. I've been going to dr. Greenbaum for years for my knees. I had surgery on my because I do not have any cartilage left on my knee caps. I decided to try stem cell after talking to two of his patients that went through it. They were much older than me and had success with stern cell. About 7 months after my stem cell surgery I noticed that I was able to step down sidewalks or curbs without any pain. And I decided to try hiking again which I gave up for the last 10 years due to pain. And it seems like the more time goes by the better my knee is an I have now done for hikes to the Hollywood sign and bridge to nowhere without any pain at all even after I stopped exercising. Then last February I had a snowboarding accident and I went to him because he operated on three of my friends doing shoulder surgery. He was highly recommended. So I had dr. Greenbaum do a full shoulder repair. I was so shocked because everybody kept telling me how quickly I heal and how much flexibility I had. After month 5 I had so much flexibility back in my shoulders that he told me to be careful because I was not fully healed. He is an amazing doctor very patient and actually will not recommend surgery unless that as the last option. I highly recommend him for knee and shoulder because he's that amazing. Highly recommend Dr. Greenbaum. He operated on my knee and did stem cell and now I could actually hike without any pain. I also had to have a full rotator cuff repair because I ripped everything in a snowboarding accident. I could not believe how quickly I bounced back and how much flexibility I have in my shoulder while many others told me horror stories about there rotator cuff repair surgery from other surgeons. I am grateful that I met Dr. Greenbaum

I had knee surgery in 2008 and Dr. Greenbaum was hands down the best man for the job. So grateful he was able to perform the surgery. He kept me super informed on what happened to my knee and how he wanted to go about it and what recovery looked like. I have not had any knee issues since my surgery and my recovery was crazy fast thanks to the amazing job Dr. Greenbaum did and the amazing physical therapy team whom I believe are in the same building. Wonderful doctor for his knowledge as I was with my shoulder pain for eight months but he diagnosed well and put me on medication instead of surgery ... I am so relieved and feeling much better after my first visit

Dr. Greenbaum takes the time to explain what going on, and offers treatment options. He is patient and makes my problems his priorities.

I highly recommend Dr. Greenbaum everyone I come in contact with that has orthopedic problems. I have never felt rushed though an appointment and am given all the time I need to fully understand my condition. One appointment I sent 45 minutes to an hour with Dr. Greenbum taking the time to answer all of my questions. Honestly, he didn't even look at his watch, he answered all my questions and encouraged me to call his office if I thought of any more questions.

My wife and I have both driven from Los Angeles down to Orange County for two separate surgeries; a complex knee and a titanium clavicle. Recoveries were extremely short and complete and still working great today. Best patient care and handling in the industry. Thanks to you and your staff.

Tries less invasive procedures before surgery! Knowledgeable and informative. Takes time with patients and does all procedures himself!

Was recommended to Dr Bradley by a friend, when I explained that I have been suffering through shoulder pain (i.e to the point I had locked shoulder and thought I had a heart attack because I could not lift my arm), could not sleep well because of the pain, etc. Knowledge (5). After the X-Ray he showed me on the chart what was the problem. But to confirm he asked about my life (Work/recreation/family), health, and symptoms. He quickly was able to tell me my problem and issue. He also gave me treatment options: cortisone shot. surgery, or PT. After PT and follow on visit, my shoulder was marked improved and for that I am really happy. Bedside (5). He also spent enough time with me to allay my fear, discomfort (i.e His office is called OC Sport & Rehab after all). Unlike other doctor he was not running me through the process. For that I appreciate it. Appointment (4.5). His website tell you to submit your request on an E-Mail form, but I was tired of these impersonal form filling on the web. Dr. Greenbaum is super current with the latest technologies in medicine and has a ton of knowledge. He spent plenty of time with me making sure I understood my injury and the next steps going forward. I had an awesome experience and would travel from my home in Pennsylvania to see him.

What I like about Dr. Greenbaum is he is knowledgeable and up to date on the newest and least invasive procedures to help his patients. I also like that Dr. Greenbaum takes the time to answer my questions and that he does even minor procedures like my injections himself. He is knowledgeable, personal, and a skilled surgeons. Both of my arthroscopic knee surgeries had excellent results!

Dr. Greenbaum is very knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. My knee has full range of motion and I have no problem with mobility. I have recommended Dr. Greenbaum to my friends that are considering knee surgery.
