Dr. Bradley Macgregor Thomas

Execellent orthopedic surgeon, very well known in the South Bay area for outstanding medical care. Well run clinic and very helpful staff.

I went to see Dr Thomas for a torn rotator cuff. During my first visit I was seen by his PA (Steve, I believe) who was efficient and friendly. He took my history, and said that Dr Thomas "is very busy to today, and running very late" so I was offered to have x rays, and was scheduled for an MRI. The second visit was for the MRI, and I was given a third appointment, w Dr Thomas, to review the tests. When I showed up today I waited 40 minutes, and when I asked when I'll be seen I was told that Dr Thomas "is very busy to today, and running very late". I left without seeing Dr Thomas. I drove 1:15 hours RT for each of the 3 visits, w no resolution. If the office were run efficiently they would have told me, when I called for an appointment, to come in for x rays and an MRI (both on the same day) followed by an appointment w Dr. Thomas.

Dr. Thomas did a shoulder surgery on my teenage daughter and the recovery and result seem very good.

Performed a patella tendon surgery sept 2015. Knee swollen and had difficulty walking stairs for months. Each month i told him this yet continued to prescribe PT, Arp therapy, acupuncture, a PRP injection and knee draining. Cash cow business. An MRI done 7 months later showed a detached tendon. He blamed it on my protoplasm. Protoplasm? Also said never had a failed surgery. Told him i wanted all my records and would seek second opinion. Records received were incomplete.

Was not totally honest about my choices in that he never said waiting or exercise was an Option with a torn meniscus
