He has no patience for his patients. He is a volume-focused physician. $$$$ rather than patient care. Over the course of 3 visits, he spent a total of 8.5 minutes with me. After complaining to staff and insisting he spend more than 2 to 3 minutes per visit with me, on the 4th visit he spent 11 minutes but couldn't wait to leave and get to the next money maker. He doesn't remember from one prior visit to the next your med history, concerns, questions or even why you set an appointment with him in the first place. He is better suited for teaching or research than patient care. Never once did he greet me, ask my name, ask about the prior treatment, reactions, or concerns. Worst of it all, I was emailed a bill while I was in the waiting room and the prognosis had not yet even been discussed.

He has no interest in what a patient has to say, does not involve the patient in conversation about the health concern, and does not personalize his care to the patient. I was having a full body skin check for the first time ever by a dermatologist. I spend a lot of time outdoors as well as having a family skin cancer history. I felt like Dr. Davis, at best, did a cursory inspection. It was not at all as detailed as I expected. He did prescribe medication for my scalp seborrhea that explained how long to leave the shampoo in which hadn't been explained before. I found out after the appointment that I have two acquaintances that had similar poor experiences. I don't trust the results of this appointment.

Had a overall skin exam for the first time by a dermatologist. It was rushed and inadequate. I'm going to have to see someone else because I don't trust that the exam was sufficient. I've found out after the exam that two acquaintances had similar poor experiences.

Truly the absolute worst experience I have ever had in any healthcare arena. Not only would he talk over me and not let me speak, he disregarded anything I had to say. He seemed more concerned with getting me out of the office instead of actually helping me with my issue. I would pay out of pocket or pay to see someone out of network before ever returning to see Dr. Bret Davis. Truly the absolute worst experience I have ever had in any healthcare arena. Too fast. I've never had a full body dermatological check up before. The doctor looked me over for a minute at most. Didn't really inspect my head even though I'm outdoors a lot. Maybe he's that good that had didn't need to take his time. It's not what I expected based on other people who had seen dermatologist for similar checkups. Also, turns out I know someone who had seen him and had the same experience. Too fast. I've never had a full body dermatological check up before. The doctor looked me over for a minute at most. Terribly late for appointment, and was rude and abrasive. When my symptoms appeared again, I contacted Dr. Davis via the MyChart portal with questions. He was dismissive and not helpful. I do NOT recommend this physician.

In my opinion Dr. Davis is the epitome of a great MD! He's warm, welcoming on each visit, clearly genuinely concerned about my well-being. He probably saved my life by early detection of Merkel-Cell Carcinoma and quick instigation of its removal. My level of appreciation is very very high!

I can't recommend Dr. Davis highly enough. He's been my dermatologist for more than 20 years. I'm picky about doctors, but I have complete confidence in Dr. Davis. He's efficient, competent, friendly, and displays an abundance of good common sense.

He really knows his stuff and is able to check you out very quickly. He has detected numerous problem areas on my husband and some squamous cells on me. We have total confidence in his expertise.

Dr. Davis was awesome! He has great eyes for the skin! He removed several spots of basil cell from my neck, face, etc... He was concerned about how the removal of 3 spots on my neck would leave a huge scar. My response: "I don't have to see it, but do not care, as long as it is removed!" Use of anti-staff cream and then Palmer's Cocoa butter have done wonders! He is matter-of-fact, as he should be for these problems. Dr. Davis was awesome! He has great eyes for the skin!
