I cannot say enough good things about this office. We came from another office that I felt like did not provide appropriate care for my kids, and making the change to come to Dr. Butchers office has validated all of those feelings. I am able to get sick appointments for my child in a timely manner. When we arrive we are seen at or near our appointment time. Tonight I couldn't sleep because of a condition that my daughter has been dealing with for several days now. I broke down and called the on-call nurse and she was so kind and patient with me and did not make me feel like a burden whatsoever for calling at 12am. Together we came up with a plan of action so that I wouldn't feel anxious through out the long holiday weekend. If you are thinking about switching pediatricians, listen to your gut, do your research and you'll find, just like I did, that this is one of the best offices around!

If I could give Dr. Butcher zero stars I would. The first time I met the doctor he mocked me in front of my face in front of the rest of the individuals present and my child. He and his staff have been nothing but unprofessional and disrespectful. They even violate your rights if they think they can get away with it. I have heard great things of this office but that has never been my experience.

Ok so coming from another doctors office (whom shall remain unnamed) I was so shocked at how much attention he gives to these children. This man is great with children. He is so patient, he also actually sits and explains things to you. Asks for your opinion, and works with the parents to come up with a game plan for treatment. He is kind, understanding and engaging. The entire staff is completely professional and kind welcoming and inviting. There’s no rude nurse with an attitude. Simply caring people that make you feel like family. I am so happy that I made the switch for my daughters. They needed a good doctor that actually cares. I have been taking my children to Dr. Butcher for 2 1/2 years and wouldn’t take them to any other provider. My family is very blessed to have Dr. Butcher:

We got to welcome our sweet boy on April 7th and brought him to Dr. Butcher’s office for his newborn exam. His entire staff was so friendly and welcoming, and the office is straight out of a children’s book; absolutely gorgeous! Dr. Butcher took his time to answer all of our questions and was so gentle with our little baby. I am so grateful to have been referred to him from multiple nurses at the hospital. Absolutely love his practice and everyone in it !He went to bat for my little man at school with his migraines and fought with me to get him virtual and now we have been doing amazing!All of my children have gone to him and he truly cares about his patients,watching them grow and do amazing.

Dr. Butcher is great! Great with our kids, explains things well and understanding with concerns. We are very comfortable and confident in the care our kids receive. Highly recommend Dr. Butcher!

Dr. Butcher is probably the best pediatrician. I am so glad to have him be the doctor to my son. Very informative and helpful. His staff is very good as well. Very nice and helpful.

Dr. Brian Butcher is an amazing person and an excellent pediatrician. Our sons have been going to him since they were babies. There is no question he will not answer and always goes above and beyond to take care of them. We totally trust him to make the best decisions for our boys . Dr. Butcher has been taking care of our children for many years. He is knowledgeable, caring, and is a great listener. He has a wonderful staff as well. Simply the best there is!

Dr Butcher is a very soft spoken, kind man. We are 1st time parents and have questions/concerns that experienced parents might find silly. That being said we have never felt dumb for anything we have asked. The entire staff is so kind! We love it here and plan to bring our daughter here until she needs an "adult" doctor. Dr. Butcher and his staff are beyond amazing. They have been so thorough at every appointment and answered all of our questions without hesitation or judgment. My husband and I are first time parents and sometimes even I feel silly with the questions I have but Dr. Butcher rolls with it and answers honestly. We recently moved about an hour away from Newport News and Dr. Butcher and his staff are so great we decided to stay with them. I will gladly drive an hour to make sure my child gets the best care possible! Love them! Dr. Butcher and his staff are beyond amazing. Dr. Butcher has been my kids,12 and 16, pediatrician since they were born. He is kind, thorough, and has a heart of gold. He has so much passion for his career and the children that he treats. Thank you Dr. B for all you have done for my babes!!

Dr. Butcher has been Our daughter's pediatrics doctor for the last 16 years. We Love him and his way with people, especially kids! He has a very calm nature. He has been with us through all our ups and downs. A truly caring man!

We met Dr. Butcher in the hospital, a few days after I gave birth. We knew right then and there that he was who we wanted to oversee the care of our baby. He was the one that gave the ok for us to bring our baby home. This was over 10 years ago! We followed him when he changed pediatric offices and when we moved(regardless of the long drive) we will travel for him. He is a part of our family and my son lover him. I have referred all my family and friends to him and they love him too!

Our girls have been seeing Dr. Butcher since they were born and both of them love when they get to visit. Dr. Butcher is a great guy who makes the kids feel comfortable while in his office. He always take the time to listen to any concerns we have and helps us find the best solutions. The offices have changed over the years but we still remain loyal to Dr. Butcher.

He is very caring and efficient.
