Best most comical thorough eye doctor I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. His staff is also consistently amazingly professional and accommodating. He performed both of my cataract surgeries and it has changed my life. I no longer require prescription glasses and the world is much clearer and brighter thanks to Dr. Collet. He takes his time to explain every procedure and long term effects and all. You never feel rushed or intimidated. He also explains all costs so no surprise bills. Dr. Collet is the best Ophthalmologist that I have seen in my Lifetime! Dr. Collet performed Cataract Surgery in both my eyes. I have been to many Ophthalmologists. Dr. Collet plans every step of the planned Cataract Surgery and places You the Patient in the Center of his plans unlike the other Ophthalmologists that I have met. He actually reached out to my GP and Cardiologist while planning for my Surgery!!! He cares about his patients! I am very impressed on how Dr. Collet treated me and my wife. He’s an amazing Man and Doctor! He takes the time to measure your eyes with the latest state of the art instruments in his office. The Brook Plaza Ambulatory Surgery Center in Brooklyn is where Dr. Collet does the Cataract Surgery. This Center is so easy to get to with Free Parking and a convenient waiting area. The Center is so well organized! And it is located in a very nice area in Brooklyn. I went there twice for both eyes and my wife waited for me. She parked in their free parking lot. She had coffee across the street and was able to wait for my surgery to be over to take me home. The Center is very Convenient. They make you feel comfortable and is Hospital clean!! The Care that this Surgery Center takes makes You feel special!! The Best part is that Dr. Collet meets with You right before the Surgery. He takes care of each of his patients like his own family. You also meet the Anesthesiologist as well as the Doctor(s) associated with Your Surgery. Both my Surgeries went very well. I am very satisfied with my new eyes!! Dr. Collett is an amazing doctor. He is patient, knowledgeable and thorough. He takes the time to explain his finding and how it can be fixed. He gives you his undivided attention and make certain you understand the treatment plan. The staff are very welcoming and pleasant. The only complaint I might have is parking. However, the Dr and staff were so nice one might disregard the inconvenience in the parking. I saw Dr. Collet for cataract surgery. He took a great deal of time with me, explaining all of my options regarding various types of lens implants and what outcome I might expect from each choice. He used multiple state-of-the-art instruments and equipment to get very precise measurements, guaranteeing the best result. Being nearsighted and having astigmatism, I have worn glasses or contacts since I was ten years old (over 50 years!). Those days are gone: I can see at all distances and even read with no lenses at all -- the outcome is spectacular! On a personal level, Dr. Collet is warm as well as professional. He truly cares about his patients’ eyesight as well as their comfort level, patiently addressing all questions and concerns, without giving you unrealistic expectations. He explained every step of the procedure before and even during the operation. The surgery itself was quick and absolutely painless, and I want to commend the staff at the surgical center for their professionalism and kindness. And Dr. Collet’s office staff is absolutely top-notch. Just like the doctor, they are personable and highly professional, taking all the time necessary to explain the pre- and post-op steps to take. And they smile and engage with you; you are not just another chart number they have to deal with. Doctor Collette is well trained and is a compassionate human being and an outstanding clinician and wonderful He spends endless time with patients calming their anxieties come answering their questions and comforting them with their diseases. Needless to say his treatments are wonderful and has a great success rate in his specialty. Wish I could give 10 Stars. Doctor Collett and his staff are amazing! They are ALL very kind, welcoming, considerate and personable.. From the very first phone call to make an appt, to the very end when everything is finished. The atmosphere in the office is very relaxed. My mom was very nervous about her upcoming eye surgery. Their calm demeanor and reassurance that everything would be would be OK helped to alleviate her fears. The surgery was a success and it was an excellent job.. well done. They were recommended to me by a family member and I would definitely 150% recommend them. Thank you Doc and your staff for just being great. You guys ROCK! ??

Dr. Collet did my Cataract and Glaucoma surgery and the result was remarkable above expectations. The staff was so friendly and professional and the actual surgery I was made so comfortable, relaxed and pain-free. After surgery I was educated of the do and don'ts to ensure the best health of the eye. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Collet for any eye concerns.

Had a 10am appointment which we made a month and a half ago. It's now almost noon and we're still in the waiting room. Unless you have A LOT of time, find a different doctor.
