Brian P Thornton

After a bilateral mastectomy, I chose Dr Thornton to perform reconstruction (tissue expander placement at time of NSM mastectomy followed by silicone implants 4 months after). I'm at nearing the end of that process and looking back, think that Dr Thornton and Cathy make an ideal team. He is very up to date on latest and optimal (for me) reconstruction techniques, answers questions knowledgeably. And I cannot say enough good things about Cathy, who listened carefully, empathetically and quickly answered any questions I had as soon as I contacted her. She is a gem. She said she would "get me through it"--and she did. The office staff is very pleasant and I seldom had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen.

Dr. Thornton did my breast reconstruction surgery. Apr 2021. I have been very pleased with the out come. I feel like a lady again with the implants. Beth Holder

My experience with Dr Thornton was not good. Breast Reconstruction was lost due to staph infection and necrotic tissue. His solution was to cut out necrotic area and just stitch shut. He was very arrogant and felt comfortable and confident enough to use the F word around my family. I would never go to him ever again.

Very pleased with the care I have received.

Dr. Thornton is a wonderful surgeon with an impeccable bedside manner. He took the time to explain every step of every procedure of my reconstruction surgery after my bilateral mastectomy. He and his staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone! I can’t thank him and his staff enough for their care!

Dr. Thornton is the best! He, and all of the staff members in his office, make you feel welcome and right at home. Dr. Thornton is patient and encourages any questions you may have. There is never much of a wait and I have an overall great experience every time I have an appointment. I’m so glad I chose Dr. Thornton for my surgery and I will continue to recommend him!

I cant express how nice and caring he was,and i am very pleased with my progress. I am having reconstruction from a double mastectomy .After 2wks I already feel good and can tell that the results will be great...no one will probably tell the difference,with or without clothes!

I met Dr. Thornton in mid 2017 to discuss reconstruction surgery after double mastectomy. Upon meeting Dr. Thornton and members of his staff I felt an immediate connection. He was very thorough about explaining the entire procedure and was very patient with all of my questions. This week he completed the last of my surgeries by replacing my expanders with implants. I was able to keep my skin and nipples and couldn't be more happy with the outcome. He has made me feel and look like me again!!

Dr. Thornton was absolutely amazing. He sat and talked with me like he was a friend. He explained things in such a good way that I understood the whole time. He joked around and made me feel comfortable. His bed side manner is the absolute best. He also stays on top of new treatments. He was able to reference research and data as to why he does things a certain way. I couldn't of asked for a better doctor.

Dr. Thornton is not just an excellent surgeon, he is kind, compassionate and patient. He along with Kathy and Beth made my journey easier.

Dr. Thornton is very thorough in his explanation of procedures and his care. The entire staff is just as excellent, Cathy, Beth and Paula. You will not be disappointed!!

I can not explain how good Dr Thorton is. He is such a good plastic surgeon he if he is wonderful. I had a masetomy one he is getting me back to felling like a woman again. And I cannot leave out his assistant Cathy wonderful wonderful!!! Two very caring people so glad God put me in their hands.
