Dr Thedinger saved my hearing! When I described my Sudden hearing loss symptoms they got me in the office ASAP to get treatment started in a timely manner which saved my hearing!

I like the receptionist , shes very nice but Im so sorry to say this, Dr. Thedinger never takes his time to ask my symptoms or any questions, he will come in sits diagnoses me and never asks me my symptoms and gave me a prescription so I can take medication for migraine, took like 3 minutes and he was done. Im so disappointed because 3 times visiting and he does the same thing, he does not care. And I have to drive 2 hours to go see him and miss work , for only 3 minutes appointment I dont think is fair . I wont be going there anymore and I don't recommend Dr Thedinger, his worthless. Britt Thedinger is the Best ENT around. I have had Meniere's for 7 years. He always listens and explains everything. The office staff are the best.

Poor listener and bedside manner! I have longstanding Meniere's that became very active. Dr Thedinger never ordered balance testing to help determine the cause for my increased vertigo and balance issues. He had his mind made up it was vestibular neuritis from previous ENT notes that did not diagnose VN. Never in my life have I experienced such unprofessional and uncaring medical treatment! At the third visit he threw up his hands saying he can't help me as he walked out of the room! I then went to NE Med Center who did the appropriate testing to determine the actual issue, which was Meniere's and helped me tremendously. Poor listener and bedside manner! Upon recommendation from an ER doctor, my husband followed up with Dr. Thedinger for an inner ear issue that was causing him vertigo. Dr. Thedinger & his staff were dismissive of my husband’s symptoms as well as the diagnosis from the ER physician. They seemed to focus on refuting a previous diagnosis and not on determining what was actually going on. The tech argued with my husband on his symptoms, including his service-related hearing loss. We are incredibly frustrated to not get more answers & now to have to follow up with someone else. We do not recommend Dr. Thedinger or his practice. I found Dr. Thedinger to be very personable and he did a great job explaining to me what was going on with my ear/hearing - even drawing a diagram to help make it clear.

Very unimpressed based on my experience. I’ve been showing typical signs of ear/sinus issues for months. The doctor I had been seeing recommended that I see a specialist because no antibiotics/steroids/decongestants were helping. I made an appointment with Dr. Thedinger. He almost immediately tells me that there isn’t anything wrong with my ears, that it’s my jaw that is causing me issues. He was very dismissive of just how much my symptoms have been affecting me. I asked if there was anything he could do about the ringing in my ears and he prescribed me some medicine. He told me the generic name but didn’t explain what it was or give me any information on the side effects or precautions. I didn’t find out until later that he had prescribed me Xanax. XANAX people! A very addictive drug with serious side effects. I was given zero information about this from him. I saw my primary care physician to find treatment options but he told me my jaw was perfectly fine, that it was in fact my ears/sinuses giving me problems. I was referred to a different specialist, Dr. Schack, who diagnosed me with eustachian tube disfunction. He has been so helpful and supportive. I can’t believe I wasted my time with Dr. Thedinger. Staff is great. He is smart! Other ear people refer to him when they can’t help the patient.

Very grateful for the care provided by Dr. Britt Thedinger and staff. I trust him with my child's ear drum surgery and his recovery went very smoothly. He gets our vote for the best doctor in town!

He did my AN surgery many years ago. He spent one hour with my husband and I on the first visit. I had lots of questions. Excellent surgeon and all around good doctor

after having stapes surgery I lost 95% of my hearing due to this guy. He works for the city health department so I guess all the crap surgeries he does get washed.

Best ENT in the world I believe. I would be deaf in one ear if it wasn't for him, much respect for the Dr.

Dr. Thedinger is an incredible surgeon; I had almost become deaf due to otosclerosis and with 2 surgeries he restored my hearing completely. I am grateful beyond words.

Saw Thedinger early January. He said I had Meniere's and BPPV even after seeing previous testing that showed I had neither. Said do Semont Maneuver for 1 week. Didn't help at all. Said to re-test for BPPV. Again the re-tests showed I didn't have BPPV. Then said to "monitor" my symptoms for 2 weeks and come back (I live in Sioux City IA). Wasted a lot of time and money for absolutely NOTHING. Saw another neurotologist who confirmed I had neither BPPV nor Meniers's.

Dr Thedinger is a brilliant physician. He has an outstanding bedside manner and truly cares for his patients. I went to him because on one else could diagnosis my problem. He knew what I had when he walked in the room and I had immediate help. Thank you Dr Thedinger.

Went to him for Tinnitus. Did a heating test which was good. He handed me a prescription and did not tell me what it was. Said take for 3 weeks. Didn't give side effects. Found out from my pharmacy it was an anti anxiety drug. When I called to ask about it, got the answering service who knew what I wanted and they had him call me. It as about 5pm. He was so angry I questioned what he gave, was mad I called even though the service suggested it and told me if I didn't want to take it then don't! That's how he cares for his patients. I have been a patient since 2002 and only one word for this doc-EXCELLENT! Many referrals to him and kudos to his work!

Dr. Thedinger made room for me on short notice, had ear pain, loss of hearing and drainage of my ear. He is kind, courteous and great at what he does. Within 15 minutes i had relief, strongly recommend this doctor.

Dr. Thedinger is by far the best ENT doctor I have ever seen. I have had ear problems all my life. At least 15 years ago he diagnosed my ear problem that I had been fighting all my 40 years of life. No other doctor that I visited could do that. Just recently he diagnosed another ear problem that I had, other doctors just could not figure out. Mind you I saw good doctors, but Dr. Thedinger is one of the best ENT doctors in the nation and he and his staff care about their patients. great explanation of my hearing loss - given all my options - the doctors of audiology and the ear doctor worked great together - terrific team - it is a one stop office for all issues regarding a hearing loss. They have helped many members of our family hear better!!

I was sent to Dr. Thedinger by my local ENT for a complex ear problem - after surgery my hearing is back to normal! He was extremely thorough and explained everything in detail. The entire experience was wonderful! The office was great!

I've been going to Britt since I moved to Omaha. I need a really good ear doctor due to some issues with my hearing, plus I need help with my in ear monitors that I use for my band. Staff is always nice, the office is super clean. I always recommend this office to anyone and everyone I know that needs an ear doc.
