I've been here a couple times to get some moles checked out and always had a good experience. The first time I saw Dr. Celano and the experience was fine. This latest time I saw Dr. Crowley and he went above and beyond! 3 moles removed, very little discomfort. They called with timely results to let me know the biopsies were benign, as well. Dr. Crowley also gave me good advice on OTC skincare products even though that wasn't why I was there. I see a lot of doctors about a lot more serious issues that rush you out and won't give me the time of day to answer important questions, so it was a lovely change to see a doctor that was actually willing to give advice and answer any questions he could help with. It was my first visit at El Cajon Dermatology clinic for a patch test. SD Family Dermatology at National City does their patch test at this branch. Receptionist was nice, ushered me in within 5 mins and saw the doctor within 15mins. The assistant came in, introduced herself as the assistant and ask questions how my medications are helping and left. Came back to give me a gown. The male doctor (Dr Cohen) came in with the assistant but the female assistant left the room while the doctor was explaining the procedure. It was explained that the procedure will last about 15-20 mins, a patch will be placed on my back to test about 87 substances that I might be allergic to. I'm not to shower for 48hrs. I've waited over an hour but no one came to do the patch. 25 mins into waiting I kept looking out the door and hallway to see anyone around whenever I would hear people talking but no one within my sight. There was no call button in the room to call the desk. I was thinking the staff might be busy and would give them time. My husband who was in the waiting room alerted them, what was the hold up why I haven't been done by then. 3 staff went in the room and found me waiting and was so apologetic. The nurse did the patch on my back within 20 mins I was done. Before we left we spoked with the manager and want her to investigate. I followed up at National City branch with 3 different doctors on 3 separate dates. The first 2 dates following I was told that they didn't find any reactions to any substances that were tested but I was allergic to paper tape that was placed to secure the patch. On the 3rd visit that followed, they also told me that they didn't find any reactions BUT to find out that the El Cajon clinic did not do the full patch test but only half of the supposedly 87 substances. With all these 3 follow up visits I told the doctors at National City clinic that I'm not going back to the El Cajon branch and told them about my bad experience. With all the hassle of waiting, itching and not able to bathe for total of 72 hours (I was told not to bathe for another day to check for any extended reactions beyond 48hrs), the patch test was not completed in its entirety. The worst place ever don’t go an hour and 30 minutes No thanks don’t go there

Overall horrible place, don’t go!!! The women in the front office have no desire to provide even basic costumer service. Going the extra mile is must be frowned upon amongst this team. In fact I bet their promotions are based on how many clients they can offend or upset in a day. However Dr. Sateesh is even worse. I have unfortunately been wasting my time with family derm for over two years!!!! Sateesh is Focused on numbers. Having a large numbers of patients is a great start, but the easy money is demanding to see them every 3 months. My appointments were no more than 5 minutes long!! Quite a lucrative little system they have developed. Sad but true. As a matter of fact I have the same issues I had when I walked through their door over two years ago. And the small amount of progress I did make ( from treatment plans I developed, dr Sateesh merely wrote the prescriptions) was destroyed because I was out of town and dr Sateesh refused to write a prescription for a simple antibiotic until she saw me. Keep in mind I have seen her every 3 to 4 months for over 2 years and she couldn’t write me a script? Subsequently my acne is back in full force, and the antibiotic no longer works. Not sure why the bad reviews. Not the newest accommodations but nice staff, fast appointments, and Dr. Nelson is great!

Honestly they forced people to take anxiety pills because there trying that new thing and had to pay and he wouldn't prescribe me new medication for my skin said it was all in my head and he would if okay contact my doctor and prescribe me anxiety pills to calm my nerves as i like to stay away from prescriptions that are unnecessary. He prescribed me the same medication they prescribed me before that barley works. Believe my review you might want to spend your money or your insurance money at a more experienced dermatologist for real. Dr. Celano is seriously the best doctor I’ve ever had! He’s friendly, caring, and extremely knowledgeable about any issue I’ve brought to him. I’ve never had to wait very long for my appointments and today I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. He and his office have also gone to bat with my insurance to get expensive prescriptions covered so I can get the products I need! Highly recommend him to anyone and everyone! I had an appointment this morning at 10:20 . I was left in a small room and waited 55 minutes. I got up and asked the receptionist if I needed to reschedule and she said I was next. 10 more minutes waiting I left furious. No reasoning to be waiting that long ! Will never return.

Fantastic doctor, smart and personable. I was nearly covered head to toe with horrible, painful psoriatic lesions when I met her. I'd been to several other doctors without making much progress. She was very kind and seemed to recognize I wasn't an ideal patient. Some of my previous experiences made me self-conscious, a difficult patient. She went right to work and gave me real insights on psoriasis. She taught me about long term management. It's been quite successful. Within weeks, I felt far less pain. I was able to sleep better and resumed a more normal life. I especially appreciated being able to go out in public without covering bleeding lesions. I've been told that on my back, where some of the worst psoriasis had been, you can't tell I _ever_ had psoriasis. When people are sick and in pain, they can get pretty grumpy. I don't know how else anyone could give this doctor or her office less than a 5.

Very poor customer service. The receptionist at the front desk did absolutely nothing to assist me. She initially informed me that she would have to contact billing to inquire about an issue I was having. After 40 mins I asked her how long it would take to get a response from billing and she said, I'll have to call them, but I don't believe she ever did. I waited in the lobby for an hour without her saying a word to me or trying to help. I would not recommend this office to anyone, based on how I was treated. Very poor customer service. I just had surgery on my leg to remove a cyst and they did not numb me I felt the whole procedure. I asked them on the day I got my stitches out why they didn't numb me? and she lied to me and said we did. I said why did I feel the whole surgery I got No response. Hmmmmmm.... Fishy.... I am very dissatisfied with this company.

I have only great things to say about Dr. Sateesh! I've been seeing her for over a year. Wait time is good, service is great. Problem is resolved!

I called and asked about what kind of service's they offered for acne treatment and the one who answered the phone hanged up which I thought it rude.

I saw three other doctors and Dr. Sateesh was the only one who solved my issue. Thank you!

Dr. Resh Sateesh is an excellent dermatologist. She is kind and always goes the extra mile for her patients. Highly recommended.
