I'm going to try to be as nice as I can while writing this. If I could give no stars at all for some doctors and 5 stars to others I would do that. My mother has been going to the Mount Ayr Medical Clinic for an issue with her abdomen since late July of last year. She has been told that she has a hernia and that they were unable to do surgery because of a bacteria in her urine since that time. They have sent her to urologists and specialists. She has had pain, weight gain, had to quit her job because they were unable to continue to accommodate the lift restrictions and it was causing her too much stress. In January she demanded that they do a CT scan to find out what was really going on. That was JANUARY. She has asked for her test results and every time the subject got overlooked. She went in and saw a different doctor this week and when he read her results, found that she DOES NOT have a hernia. She DOES NOT have bacteria in her urine. She had an abdominal aortic aneurysm and had blood in her urine. Were this to rupture, it would cause her to bleed out and die almost instantly. I find it EXTREMELY SAD that a doctor who graduated HIGH SCHOOL in 2003 can accomplish more for my family than one who has been practicing since before said doctor was even born. "He believes patients should receive the same high quality of care in Ringgold County that they would receive in the best medical centers in the United States."?????????????????? REALLY? Is that REALLY how you feel doctor? Because I believe in actions speaking louder than words and simply READING the results in front of you could have prevented a LOT of discomfort, pain, stress, and problems for my mother and the rest of our family. Next time your patient tells you something is wrong. Maybe try listening and DOING YOUR JOB by reading the test results that are right in front of you!
