She has absolutely no idea how to treat acne scars. Spent over a thousand (maybe two thousand?) dollars on laser scar treatment here only to have absolutely NO improvement...Every session, she recommended more and more lasers and always seemed to want more money. Additionally, there were constant issues with her office- her canceling appointments last minute, her rescheduling appointments, all kinds of unprofessional crap. I'm shocked at all the good reviews- I'm not even sure how it's ethical for a doctor to take so much of a person's money with zero improvement in their scarring!

Just completed a lesion removal...... Nurse Kim did the numbing and I really didn't feel a thing! Dr. Balaraman was very clear about all phases of the pre-procedure and surgery. Nurse Robin also very pleasant as is the front desk lady Ember.

Very informative and knowledgeable. I'd recommend her to anyone.

First visit only, so waiting to see how the diagnosis and treatment prescribed pan out. However, all indications seem good - gave a clear description of her diagnosis and possible other diagnoses, as well as reasons for treatment + follow up plans.

It was a good experience. Dr. Balaraman was delightful. She was attentive to any questions or concerns and took time to go over skin health. One suggestion would be, in comparison with past Derm care, a skin regimen handout or consult (5 min) regarding over the counter or alternatives. I found this of great value at my previous care provider. Other than that, my visit was directed towards skin exam and q&a about moles and specific past issue.
